Sylvia A. Walden, 88, of 522 Habersham Rd., Duff, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Campbell County. She was of the Penecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by husband Floyd Walden; son Everett Walden; daughter Rita Wilson; brother Daniel Garrell; and sister Susie Kitts.
She is survived by son John Walden of LaFollette; daughter Leona Miller of LaFollette; and 24 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 9, in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Walls officiating. Interment
was held in the Walden Cemetery.

Mary T. Wallace, 85, of LaFollette, died Friday, April 6, 2001.
She was preceded in death by husband Willie Wallace; parents R.S. and Millie Tackett; brothers Henry and Luther Tackett.
She is survived by daughter Rosetta Chapman; sons Earl, Robert, Jay, Eugene, Ricky, Roger, and Vance Wallace; brothers Audren and Arlie Tackett; sister Ann Ward; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at Cross Chapel with Rev. Houston Carroll officiating. Interment
was held in the Red Hill Cemetery.

Crissy Celisa and Casey Lisa Ward, infant daughters of Cecil and Rosa Green Ward died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at the Ft. Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville.
They are survived by parents Cecil and Rosa Green Wars’ sister Nicole Ward all of LaFollette; grandparents and great-grandparents.
Funeral services were held on graveside services were held on Saturday, April 7, in Kitts Cemetery with Rev. Joby Byrge and rev. Jimmy Rutherford officiating.

Willie Walker, 91, of LaFollette, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Lake City Health Care Center.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating. Interment
was held in the Johnson Memorial Park in Pikeville, Ky.

Billy Joe Webb, 34, of Clinton, died Sunday, April 8, 2001. He was a member of the Longfield Baptist Church in Lake City.
He is survived by wife Sandy Webb; children Danielle and Justin; daughters Hannah and Heather of LaFollette; parents James and Jean Webb of Lake City; sister teresa Webb of Louisville; and brother Mark Webb of Lake City.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 11, at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with Rev. Harvey Sherlin officiating. Interment
was held in the Leach Cemetery in Lake City.

Shirley Wilson, 64, of LaFollette, died Thursday, March 29, 2001 at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County.
He is survived by sons Mike and Joe Wilson of Huntington, Ind,, Mark Wilson of Greeneville, Tenn., and Steve Wilson of LaFollette; daughter Tracy Miller of LaFollette; brothers Jackie and Junior Wilson of LaFollette, Donald Wilson of Geneva, Ala., and Dewey Wilson of Dayton, Ohio; sister Betty Baird of LaFollette; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 1, at Walters Chapel. Interment
was held in the Sunrise Cemetery.

William (Bill) Allen, 78, of Helenwood, Tenn., formerly of Campbell County, died Friday, August 3, 2001 at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center of Knoxville. He was a member of the Helenwood Baptist Church and a member of The Robbbins Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pryor and Minnie Bolton Allen, wife Elma Byrd Allen, son Ernie Allen, brother David Allen and sister Dina Brewer
He survived by daughter Mable Goad; son Craig Allen of Helenwood Tenn.; brother Charlie Allen; sister Rosella Cross and several grandchildren and great-great children.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug 5 at the Helenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Cecil and Rev. Charles Goad officiating. Interment
