He is survived by wife, Margaret A. Partin; sons, Jimmy and Robert; daughters, Jennifer and Diana; step-sons, Tim ad John; step-daughters, Sarah and Christy; parents, Bobby and Shirley Partin; brother, Jeffery Partin; sister, Laura Dunaway; grandmother, Laura Smith; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 19 at Harp Funeral Home with Father Bob Damron officiating. Interment
followed in Douglas Cemetery.
Madeline Carter Reed
Madeline Carter Reed, 80, of Pleasant View, Kentucky, died Monday, April 19, 1999 at her family residence. She was a homemaker and member of Mountain Ash Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, General and Bertha Carter. Survivors include husband, George R. Reed; daughters, Phyllis Poff Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mary Poff Lawson of Hebron, Kentucky; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22 at 2 p.m. at Cox & Son Funeral Home in Jellico with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Interment
will follow in Reed Cemetery.
Lester R. Ridenour
Lester R. Ridenour, 85, of LaFollette, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 at LaFollette Medical Center. He was a member of Demory Baptist Church. He retired from International Harvester, was a hospital volunteer, and a veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charles Alex and Ida Mae Walker Ridenour; brother, Lawrence Ridenour; and sisters, Pearl Patterson and Della Pyle. Survivors include wife, Pernie Esta Cooper Ridenour and son, Roger Lester Ridenour of Plainfield, Indiana.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 17 at Demory Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Siler, Rev. Everett Cooper, and Rev. Conley Shepherd officiating. Interment
followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Brenda Gail Taylor Welch
Brenda Gail Taylor Welch, 43, of South Lebanon, Ohio, formerly of Jellico, died April 14, 1999.
She is survived by husband, Stan Welch; parents, George and Alene Taylor; children, Rhonda Maury, April Frisby, ad Wade Osbourne; brother, Danny Taylor and James Taylor; sister, Betty Wright; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 17 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home in Loveland, Ohio. Graveside services were held Monday, April 19 in Peabody Cemetery in Jellico.

Gail Wilson, 58, of Mason, Ohio, formerly of Caryville, died Thursday, April 15, 1999. He was a self-employed lifelong carpenter.
He was preceded in death by wife, Paula; father, Ed Wilson of Caryville; brother, Boyd Wilson of Caryville; and sisters, Yvonne, Cathy, Frankie, and Janice Kay Wilson of Caryville. Survivors include sons, Tony and Christopher Wilson of Mason, Ohio; mother, Mae Wilson of Caryville; sisters, Azalee Sneed of Mason, Ohio, Shirley Balinger of Fairfield, Ohio, Annalee Paul of Lake City, and Carolyn Foust of Jacksboro; brothers, Ray Wilson of Caryville, James Wilson of Fairfield, Ohio, and Don Wilson of Mason, Ohio.

Mildred Wilson
Mildred Wilson, 79, of Fratersville, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 15, 1999 at Lake City Health Car Center. She was a member of Fratersville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, Henderson "Hence" Wilson; parents, John and Versulia Murray; three brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 18 at Cox-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Warner Hawkins officiating. Interment
followed in Leach Cemetery in Lake City.
Charles Arthur Arms
Charles Arthur Arms, 57, of Evans Road, Jacksboro, died Monday, September 27, 1999 at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was owner and operator of Caryville Surplus Sales, and a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Caryville Masonic Lodge ##663 F & AM.
He was preceded in death by; parents, James Samuel and Myrtle Owens Arms, and sister, Delma Glee Arms. Survivors include; wife, Joanne Nease Arms; sons, Michael Wayne Arms of Johnson City, and Charles Arthur Arms of Chattanooga; daughter, Annette Lynn Brandenburg of Valdosta, Georgia; brothers, John Arms, Bob Arms, and Glen Arms, all of Shelby, Ohio, Walter T. Arms of McArthur, Ohio, and Riley Arms of Londonderry, Ohio; and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Wednesday September 29 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment
will follow today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. in Campbell Memorial Gardens.
Eva Pierce Ausmus
Eva Pierce Ausmus, 89, of LaFollette, died Monday, September 27, 1999. She was a member of Fincastle United Methodist Church, a Sunday School teacher, and a retired Campbell County school teacher.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Charles Ausmus. Survivors include; daughter, Charlotte Dagley of LaFollette; brother, Jake Pierce of LaFollette; sisters, Marie Pierce of Knoxville, and Edna Heleen of Painesville, Ohio; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 29 at Cross Funeral Home with Dr. David Lord and Dr. David Vaughn officiating. Interment
will follow today (Thursday), September 30, at 10 a.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Troy Edward Ausmus
Troy Edward Ausmus, 72, of LaFollette, died Sunday, September 12, 1999 at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and owner and operator of Troy's Garage and Radiators for 24 years.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Henry and Lelie Dunn Ausmus; brothers, Frank and Fred Ausmus; and sisters, Vesta Chadwell, Florence Howorton , and Ruby Breeding. Survivors include; wife, Irene Ausmus; son; Jerry Ausmus of Jacksboro; daughter, Rhonda Albers of Jacksboro; sisters, Ada Meyers of Jermiah, Kentucky and Verda Mayes of Middlesboro, Kentucky; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Grace P. Hatfield Williams Ayers, 73, of LaFollette, died Saturday, September 25, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Knoxville. She was of the Church of God faith and retired from Imperial Reading Corporation.
She was preceded in death by; husbands, James C. Williams , and Charley Alonzo Ayers; parents, Asbury and Florence Ada Marcum Hatfield; and brothers, Clifford Lee Hatfield , and Charles Hatfield. Survivors include; daughter, Gwen Accawi of Knoxville; sister, Mary Canton Siekerski of Baltimore, Maryland; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Georgia Ballard, 81, of Lakeland, Michigan, died Thursday, September 16, 1999 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor. She was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church, Michigan Retired Teachers Association, Michigan Porcelain Painters, and Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by ; parents, Hugh and Belle (Lumpkins) McNeeley; husband, Arvid W. Ballard; brothers, Carl, Edgebert, and Bill; sisters, Estelle White, Ida Robbins, Edna Brown, and Nina Petrey. Survivors include; daughter, Sharon D. Lehman of Lakeland; brother, James D. McNeeley of LaFollette; sisters, Odessa Bowman of Monroe, Michigan, Nadine Brooks of Maryville, Tennessee, Myrtle Brown of Greenback, Tennessee, and Avenell Wheeler of Cleveland, Ohio.

Clarence Bridges, 69, of Lake City, died Friday, September 24, 1999 at the Baptist Hospital in Knoxville.
He was a member of the High Street Baptist Church, LaFollette, and a member of the National Guard.
He is preceded in death by; parents, Harvey and Lula Bridges. Survivors include; wife, Christine Nolan Bridges; daughters, Brenda Loving, Darlene Lowe, and Mary Price, all of Caryville, and Charlotte Schultz of Clinton; sons, Tommy Bridges, Danny Bridges, and Clarence Bridges, Jr. , all of Lake City; brothers, Harvey Bridges, Jr. and Lawrence Bridges, both of Lake City; sisters, Margaret Waggoner, and Geneva Kennedy, both of Lake City; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; husband, John Ellison; and son, Dan Ausmus. Survivors include; one grandson, John C. Ausmus of Andersonville, Tennessee; nephew and neice, Gene and Cordelia Powers of Pioneer, Tennessee; special friend, Agnes Seavers of Jacksboro; and several other relatives.
