Brenda Colleen Vise, 38, of Chattanooga, formerly of Anniston, Ala., died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001.
She was a native of Cleburne County, Ala., a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by father, James C. Vise of Delta, Ala.
Survivors: mother, Mattie L. Vise, Delta; sisters, Regina V. Perry, Southside, Ala. Debbie V. Andrews, Anniston, Linda V. Gardner, Delta; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cleburne County with Rev. Randy Morris and Mike Bowers officiating.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

CLEVELAND -- Sandra Jean Brown, 57, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001.
She was a member of Elkmont Baptist Church.
Funeral services Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, 3 p.m., at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hood officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery.

SPRING CITY -- Edward "Dockie" Byrd, 63, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, in a Chattanooga hospital.

Alice Dangler
DUNLAP -- Alice McWilliams Dangler, 91, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 12, 2001.
Mrs. Dangler was a member of Dunlap First Baptist Church.
Preceded by husband, J.W. "Jack" Dangler; brothers, Luther, Louis and Oscar McWilliams; sister, Bessie Hatfield.
Survivors: Daughter, Margaret Dangler; son, Eddie Dangler, Dunlap; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Joann Denham
DECATUR -- Joann Denham, 65, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, in a local hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd H. Denham; parents, Floyd T. and Sallie Stokes; sister, Emma Elizabeth Minton; and brother, Douglas Stokes.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Rogers of Decatur; sons, Jimmy C. Denham of Hixson, Ronnie Denham of Chattanooga and Richard C. Denham; eight grandchildren; sisters, Velma Marr of Akron, Ohio, Dale Ray of Ooltewah, Tina Ellis and Nancy Malone; brothers, Herbert Stokes and Lawrence Stokes, all of Harrison and Floyd Stokes of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Wright officiating.
The family will receive friends today, Oct. 14, from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Bartlebaugh Cemetery.

Johnnie Green
WHITWELL -- Johnnie Edward Green, 73, died in a local hospital Saturday morning, Oct. 13, 2001.
Mr. Green was retired from Wheland Foundry and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson Eugene Green and Mattie Kilgore Green; brother, J.W. Green.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Joyce Fletcher Green of Whitwell; children, Willa Dean Kilgore and Sidney Green of Whitwell, and James Green of Sequatchie; sister, Shelby Jean Culpepper of Whitwell; grandchildren, Christy Kilgore, Kathy Lane, Kelly Powell, Jeffery Green, Tyler Green, Jordan Green, Madison Green; great-grandchildren, Jarrett Kilgore, Justin Lane and Nathan Powell.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Kilgore officiating.
Interment will be in Walden-Kilgore Cemetery.
Ruby Harbison
BENTON -- Ruby Harbison, 63, died Friday evening, Oct. 12, 2001, at Bradley Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wetmore Baptist Church.
The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday evening at Bordwine Funeral Home.

DECATUR -- Rickey Jay Moore, 41, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at his residence.
He was of the Church of God faith.

Peggy Stubbs
CUMMING -- Margaret "Peggy" Shapard Wright, a resident of Cumming, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 1, 1953, in Chattanooga. Her parents are Ruth Garrison Wright and the late John P. Wright of Lookout Mountain, Tenn. Mr. Wright was president for 20 years of American National Bank in Chattanooga which later became SunTrust Bank.
Peggy grew up on Lookout Mountain and was a former member of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church.
She attended Lookout Mountain Elementary School and Girls' Preparatory School.
She graduated from Mercer College in Atlanta with a degree in psychology.
She worked for the Georgia Highway Department in Atlanta and as office manager of Peachtree Motors in Alpharetta, Ga.
Her hobby was photography.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel B. Stubbs of Cumming; She has two sisters, Ruth Wright Stewart of Cordova, Tenn. and Mary Wright Walker of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; Her brother is John P. Wright Jr. of Lookout Mountain, Ga. She has two stepchildren, Daniel Burdette Stubbs of Loxahatchee, Fla., and Dara Stubbs Laughlin of Sugar Hill, Ga. She and Dan have four grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews.
The service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ingram's Funeral Home, Cumming. The officiating minister is Dr. Robert H. Garrison, Peggy's uncle from Hendersonville, N.C. and the Rev. Wayne Thornton, Cumming.
