DRESDEN, TN - Marjorie Adams, 80, former employee of WLS Radio in Chicago, died of heart failure Tuesday at Methodist Healthcare Volunteer Hospital-Martin. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gardner Funeral Home with burial in Woodlawn cemetery in Sharon. Mrs. Adams, the wife of Ralph Adams, also leaves two daughters, Martha Singer of Algonquin, Ill., and Mary Olthendorf of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a son, Marshall Adams of Elgin, Ill., two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. FINLEY, TN - Wilmer Louise Goodman, 75, retired custodian for Dyersburg City Schools, died of kidney failure Thursday at her home. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home in Newbern with burial in Dyer County Memorial Gardens cemetery. Mrs. Goodman, the wife of Robert Goodman, also leaves a daughter, Mary Goodman of Dyersburg; a son, Silvester Goodman of Bartow, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Robbie Grief of Trimble, a grandson, six stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
