WALTER `DEDNEY' WIGGINS, 53, of St. Louis, formerly of Memphis, employee of Coca-Cola Bottling Co., died Saturday at his home after a heart attack. Services will be at noon Saturday at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Piperton, Tenn., with burial in the church cemetery. H. C. Jett Funeral Home in Collierville has charge. He leaves two daughters, Pamela Wiggins and Kim Wiggins, both of Memphis; two sons, Don D. Young of Collierville and Jerome Rodgers of St. Louis; his mother, Mabel L. Wiggins of St. Louis; five sisters, Minnie Littles of Collierville, and Lois Little, Edna Mae Clark, Ida Wiggins and Glenda Wiggins, all of St. Louis; six brothers, Robert Wiggins, Johnny Wiggins, Glen Wiggins, Willie Wiggins, Jerry Wiggins and Murray Wiggins, all of St. Louis, and nine grandchildren.

THOMAS ALLEN, 60, of 476 Delta, owner of Allen & Sons Sundry, died of cancer Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital. Services will be at noon Saturday at New Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with burial in New Park cemetery. N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Allen, the husband of Bernice Allen, also leaves three daughters, Rhonda Humphrey and Robin Givand, both of Memphis, and Rosie Mae Robinson of Hernando, Miss.; a son, Alfonzo Henderson; two stepsons, Raymond Toney and Norris Toney, and his mother, Lora Lee Allen, all of Memphis; eight sisters, Mattie Mistres and Lora Jean Thomas, both of Flint, Mich., Rebecca Guy, Laura Mae Black and Jeanette Smith, all of Detroit, Katie Corder and Louise Hurt, both of Memphis, and Annie Pearl Robinson of Hernando; four brothers, Ray Willie Allen and Harry Allen, both of Memphis, and Johnny Allen and Herman T. Allen, both of Detroit; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

JERRY C. BERRY, 55, of Memphis, contract salesman for Lincoln Glass, died of cancer Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. He was a member of Central Church. Mr. Berry, the husband of Linda M. Berry, also leaves two daughters, Aleisa B. Dickey of Memphis and Apryl B. Farris of Cookeville, Tenn.; his parents, Harry C. and Lila Berry; a brother, Philip G. SAMUEL ALPHA BIRCHFIELD, 85, of Memphis, retired engineer for Memphis Light, Gas & Water Division, died of cancer Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. He was a member of Eudora Baptist Church. Mr. Birchfield, the husband of Glennie Smith Birchfield, also leaves two daughters, Charlotte A. Birchfield of Memphis and Shirley M. Brookshier of Mountain View, Ark., and a brother, Leslie E.
