Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Faith Church of God in Somerville, where she was a member, with burial in Liberty cemetery in Laconia, Tenn. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home of Somerville has charge. She leaves a daughter, Teresa Hoskins, and two sons, Jimmy Eugene `Jimbo' Hoskins and Bryan Hoskins, all of the home, and her mother, Sarah Hoskins, and her foster mother, Josephine Atkeison, both of Somerville.

JOHN W. HUDSON, 76, of Memphis, formerly of Covington, Tenn., retired agent with Interstate Life Insurance Co., died Thursday of heart failure at Methodist Hospital North. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington with burial in Charleston cemetery. Mr. Hudson, the husband of Ruth L. Hudson, also leaves a son, Leslie J. Hudson of Memphis; a sister, Jo Barfield of Southaven, and a brother, Henry R. Hudson of Pocahontas, Tenn.

THELMA M. JOHNSON, 80, of Nashville, formerly of Memphis, retired librarian for Memphis City Schools, died of heart failure Wednesday at Bethany Health Care Center in Nashville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home with burial in Paradise Gardens cemetery in Edmondson, Ark. She was a member of Bethel AME Church of West Memphis. Mrs. Johnson, the widow of Ezra Melvin Johnson, leaves a daughter, Mildred Johnson Taylor of Nashville, and two granddaughters.

DOROTHY M. LONG, 58, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Somerville, Tenn., homemaker, died Sunday of heart failure at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dancyville (Tenn.) CME Church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. J. A. Lofties Funeral Home of Somerville has charge. Mrs. Long, the wife of Arlander Long of Memphis, also leaves four daughters, Sylvia Long of Memphis, Opal Boyd of Somerville, Patricia Long of Brownsville, Tenn., and Dorothy Long of Jackson; three sons, Lander Long Jr., Willie Long and Thomas Long, all of Jackson; her mother, Opal Watkins of Brownsville; seven sisters, Annie Watkins, Arlean Watkins, Jackie Miller and Ural Calloway, all of Brownsville, Sallie Watkins and Pearl Watkins, both of St. Louis, and Alma Holmes of Somerville; eight brothers, Buddy Watkins and Early Watkins, both of St. Louis, Jessie Watkins of Nashville, Robert Watkins and Clinton Watkins, both of Somerville, Thomas Watkins of Detroit, and Jerry Watkins and David Watkins, both of Brownsville; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

DAWIT WODAYE MEHERETE, 34, of Memphis, parking attendant for All Right Parking, died of liver disease Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be at noon Saturday at J. O. Patterson Mortuary with burial in Hollywood-Mt. Carmel cemetery. Mr. Meherete leaves a son, Nebyu Dawit of Canada; his mother, Wodaje Meherete; a sister, Etenesh Meherete, and a brother, Berhanu Meherete, all of Ethiopia, and three friends who cared for him, Asfau Keskessa, Jember Ameha and Assifa Wossen, all of Memphis.

SARAH FRANCES REID MIDDLETON, 71, of Oakland, Tenn., former professor with Northwest Mississippi Junior College in Southaven and pharmacist at University of Alabama in Auburn, died of heart failure Wednesday at Methodist Hospital North. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Cordova Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 4195 Kirby-Whitten, where she sang in the choir and was active with the Family History Center, with burial at 11 a.m. Saturday at Welti Presbyterian Church cemetery in Cullman, Ala. Forest Hill Funeral Home East has charge. She was active with the Boy Scouts of America. Mrs. Middleton, the widow of James Middleton, leaves a sister, Betty Sue Smith, and a brother, Dudley Reid, both of Cullman. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Welti Presbyterian Church cemetery Association.

CHARLES WILLIAM O'MALLEY, 64, of Cordova, sales manager at Richard Glatter Inc., died of respiratory failure Wednesday in Memphis. Memorial services will be at noon today at Forest Hill Funeral Home East. He was a certified master watchmaker and had received an honorary degree from Spencer (N.C.) School of Watchmaking. He was past president of the Jeweler's Association Liaison to State Legislature, and a member of the 24 Carat Club and Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee Jeweler's Association. He was an Army veteran and a Methodist. Mr. O'Malley, the husband of Carmen O'Malley, also leaves a daughter, Karen O'Malley of Brighton, Tenn.; a son, Kevin O'Malley of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Sally Walker of Newport News, Va., and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Memphis Humane Society.

EUNICE ERWIN OWEN, 88, of Covington, Tenn., homemaker, died Wednesday of complications from a blood clot at Sycamore View Nursing Home. Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Owen, the widow of William Allison Owen, also leaves three daughters, Joan Glidewell and Peggy Duane, both of Bartlett, and Janice Townsend of Arlington; two sons, Harold Owen of Memphis and Gary Owen of Covington, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
