Wiley F. Hamilton
Wiley F. Hamilton, age 86 of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away Friday, May 28, 2004. He was born October 16, 1917, in Florence, Alabama, and lived in Houston, Texas, for 43 years before retiring to Dandridge. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict having served in the Army, Air Force and the Marines. Wiley was retired from television station KPRC of Houston, Texas, where he was a technical engineer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Maude North Hamilton. Survivors include his brother, Jim Hamilton of Houston, Texas; sister, Edith Coffey of Corpus Christi, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 10 a.m. at French Broad Baptist cemetery with Dr. Robert McCray officiating and military honors by the Volunteer State Honor Guard. Friends may call at their convenience on Tuesday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
Viola Knight Headrick
Viola Knight Headrick, age 82, of White Pine, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2004. She was a member of Leadvale Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Delores Moore and husband, Danny, of Morristown, Judy Parks and husband, Wallace, of Morristown, Sue Dixon and husband, Charles, of White Pine; sons, Mike Headrick and wife, Deborah, of White Pine; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Interment
graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 1, 11 a.m. at White Pine cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Leadvale Baptist Church, 874 Leadvale Church Road, White Pine, TN 37890. Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine is in charge of arrangements.
Mary Helen (Sisk) Noe
Mary Helen (Sisk) Noe, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, May 28, 2004. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Sisk and Eliza Douglas Sisk of Newport; brothers Tom B. Sisk, Sr. of San Antonio, Texas; Claude (Jack) Sisk of White Pine; and William (Joe) Sisk of Jefferson City. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Noe of Jefferson City; son, Tim Noe of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Nicholas Noe, all of Jefferson City; sisters, Sue Swann of Newport, Betty Cogdill of White Pine, and Lois Wise of Dandridge; brothers, Rev. J.D. Sisk and Robert F. Sisk, both of Newport. Interment
was held in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City was in charge of arrangements.

Betty Louise Presley
Betty Louise Presley, age 69, of Greeneville, passed away Friday evening, May 28, 2004, at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Michael Dixon of Greene County, Lisa and James Tolliver of Talbott; sons and daughter-in-law, Doug and Nancy Presley and Rick “Porky” Presley of Greene County; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; mother, Yeteva Holt Wadell of Greene County; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Terry Finkle of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2 in the chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home. Interment
will follow in Price's cemetery in the Romeo Community with Rev. Jim Fillers officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, June 1 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville.

Sylvia Sue Bunch Puckett, age 57, of Dandridge, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Puckett; father and mother, James Blucher Bunch and Mary Huskey; sister, Dava Lee “Debbie” Martin. She is survived by her daughters, Julie and husband, Joe Hodgins and Susan McNeely and companion, Dan Warner; granddaughter, Shayna Neely and Victoria Breeden; step-grandchildren, Sommer, Kaylie and Taylor Hodgins; sisters, Georgia Miller and husband, John, Kathy Carpenter, Pasty Williams; brothers, Jimmy Bunch and wife, Tina, Rusty Bunch and companion, Teresa Grant; special niece and friend, Shelia Richards; several other nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Friday, May 28, at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Troy Duncan conducting the service. Graveside interment

Hannah Evadell Seymour
Hannah Evadell Seymour, age 83, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2004. She was a member of The Church at Sterchi Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.L. and Della Branson Seymour and nephew, Lonnie Seymour. She is survived by her brother, O.L. Seymour and wife, Irene Hopson Seymour of Powell. Ms. Seymour was a special aunt as well as a second mother to seven nieces and nephews, Theresa Seymour Speeks, Della Seymour Smalley and Susan Seymour Blazier of all Powell, Pat Seymour Rogers of Morristown, Robert Seymour of Talbott and Samual Seymour of Georgia. She also leaves behind her best friend Louise Cummings of Knoxville and many grand-nieces and nephews. Interment
was held in Greenwood cemetery. Stevens Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Burl Ray Sharp, age 63, of Russellville, passed away Saturday morning, May 29, 2004, at his home following a long illness. He was a retired truck driver and native of Grainger County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oda and Melinda Cook Sharp, and children, Tracy and Gregory Sharp. Survivors include sons, Darryl Sharp of Knoxville, Rickey Sharp of Jefferson City and Stacy Sharp of Morristown; daughter, Anita Jarnigan of Newport; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Rubel Sharp and sister, Fontella Moore, both of Maryville. John J. (Johnny) Myers, age 69, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, May 31, 2004, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline McGhee Martin; step-father, Walter Martin and devoted grandparents, Joe and Jessie McGhee. He is survived by his aunts and uncles Nina and Herbert Howard of Strawberry Plains, Cora Etherton of Sevierville, James McGhee of New Market, Gladys McGhee of New Market, Bessie McGhee of Morristown, Ruth McGhee of Strawberry Plains and many cousins. Ralph Clifton Patty, age 81, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, May 31, 2004. He was a patient at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patsy Burkhart Patty of Jefferson City; sons and daughters-in-laws, Ralph Charles and Tina Patty of Jacksboro; James Michael and Juanita Patty of New Market, Larry Jerome and Cheryl Patty of Mascot; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Kenneth Hale of Riceville; grandsons, Ralph Carson Strong and wife, Kim of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Cody Hale of Riceville; granddaughter, Sherry Patty of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Carson Strong of Simpsonville, South Carolina; sister, Beulah Daniels of Mascot; sister-in-law, Jewell Burkhart of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews; friends and staff of the Chandler House Assisted Living in Jefferson City. Blanche Sutton Reneau, age 86, of Dandridge, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Dandridge and Jefferson County. Blanche was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was formerly employed by the Bush Brothers Canning Company and Tennessee Handbags. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chris Reneau; sisters, Aileen Bailey, Thelma Denton and Gladys Moore; brother, Bud Sutton. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Richard Romines; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Alice Jane Reneau; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Naomi McSpadden and Leona “Toni” Denton; several nieces and nephews. Ora L. Brackett, age 89, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, July 23, 2004, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Brackett; children, R.B. McCart, Betty Smith and James McCart; parents, George and Artie Messer.
