Funeral Services for David Morse, age 61, of Tullahoma will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2003, from the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Morse died Saturday at Harton Hospital. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 till 8:00 Monday evening at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Mr. Morse was born in Davidson Co., Tennessee and is the son of the late Joe and Marjorie Shumacker Morse. He was a member of the Center Grove Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon and was a member of the Kiwinis Club. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a son, John David Morse. Funeral Services for Lt. Col. Elmer P. Fizer, age 90 of Tullahoma will be conducted at 11:00am, Saturday, November 30, from the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Payne officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Col. Fizer died Tuesday morning at Lynchburg Nursing Center. Visitation with the family will be from 5:30pm till 9:00pm, Friday evening at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

GREAT GRANDCHILDREN - Eli Fizer, Reganne Chadwell, Jordon, Justin & Jackson McKelvey & Isabel Fizer; Lt. Col. Fizer was born in Keyser, West Virginia the son of the late Almer Jacob Fizer and Nora Craig Fizer. Col. Fizer was a graduate of West Virginia University, receiving a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1937. He was called to active duty in August of 1941, and during his career served at many bases throughout the world. His last twelve years of military service was the Judge Advocate on the staff of six successive General officers. He retired from the Air Force on May 31, 1960 while serving at Arnold Engineering & Development Center. He then worked 12 years as a legal adviser and as administrative assistant for Procurement Materials Division, ARO, Inc. and retired for physical disability. Col Fizer was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church, the American Legion, the VFW, the Air Force Assn., Retired Officers Assn, the 330th Bomb Group Assn., Air Force Retired Judge Advocate Assn and was an honorary member of the Tennessee Sheriff's Assn & the Federal Bar Assn. Mr. Majors was born in Franklin Co., Tennessee and is the son of the late Joseph Travis and Mary Elizabeth Winstead Majors. Mr. Majors was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a life member of the Architect University Masonic Lodge in Dearborne, Michigan and a member of the International Association of Machinists at AEDC for over 30 years. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Wilson "Pee Wee" Majors.

Mr. Hoots was born in Bow, Kentucky the son of the late Hershel & Irene Sewell Hoots. He was retired from ACS at AEDC where he was a Lieutenant with the Security Police at Arnold Center. Mr. Hoots also was also a retired Master Sergeant with the US Air Force, serving 21 years as a Law Enforcement Supervisor. He was a member of the American Legion in Tullahoma where he also served as its Service Officer, and was vice president of the local Association of the A.B.C. Mrs. Loyd was born in Estill Springs, TN and is the daughter of the late Harvey and Allie Hise Painter. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, an active member of the Coffee Co. Senior Citizens and retired from Genesco. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Loyd, and two brothers, Jessie Lee and Jerry Ray Painter.
