John Cathey
John Brady Cathey died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at a local health care facility. He was 94.
Survivors include one brother, Wilson Cathey, Chicago; two sisters, Earnestine Farris, Detroit, and Altie Edmiston, Albion, Mich.
Services will be today at 1 p.m. at the Dodds Avenue Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Roland Dover
Roland Lee Dover died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 42.
He was a native and longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and attended the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Dover.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Dover; two sons, Roland Lee Dover Jr. and Roland Lee Dover II; two daughters, Linda Louis Dover and Michelle Dover; two brothers, Dennis and Charles Fowler; three sisters, Martha Harriod, Donna Ellis and Tressia Quarles, all of Chattanooga.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Dodds Avenue Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark McGuire officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
James Ducker
James Ducker, a native of Signal Mountain, Tenn., died recently in California. He was 89.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at noon at J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home with the Rev. Harley Morrison officiating.
Burial will be in Sawyer cemetery on Signal Mountain.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.

Irvin Frederick of Las Vegas, Nev., died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999. He was 85.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in Granny Walker cemetery in Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., with the Rev. Hurbert Chancey and the Rev. Ricky Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Patricia Lemlyn Johnston died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999.
A native of Mayflower, Ark., she had lived in the Chattanooga area for 13 years and attended Heritage Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Chris Olson, Atlanta; two daughters, Michelle Olson, Ooltewah, and Chrintina "Christy' Randle, Apison, Tenn.; one sister, Sandra Kay Lemlyn, Dallas; two brothers, Henry Aaron Lemlyn, Flower Mound, Texas, and H.A. "Butch' Lemlyn, Marble Falls, Texas; and one granddaughter.
Memorial services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wolfe cemetery in Oppelo, Ark.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
