John Nunnelley
John Paul Nunnelley died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 57.
The longtime Chattanooga area resident was a graduate of Kirkman High School, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, a retiree from TVA and a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Nunnelley.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Nunnelley; three children, Toby Lynn Nunnelley, Chattanooga, William Ray McCurry, Jasper, Tenn., and Linda Collins, Ringgold, Ga.; his father, B.H. Nunnelley, Montgomery, Ala.; one brother, Henry Nunnelley, Sylacauga, Ala.; one sister, Martha Catchings, Alabaster, Ala.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Mason officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
William Perkins
William Perkins died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 53.

Edna Reno
Edna Gallahan Reno of Soddy-Daisy, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 89.
She was a retired school cafeteria cook, a member of Mile Straight Baptist Church and the widow of Eunice Reno.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Reno, Soddy-Daisy and Jim Reno, Fort Collins, Colo.; three daughters, Virginia Jo Merritt, Ozark, Ala., Shelby Davidson, Soddy-Daisy and Betty Crabtree, Red Bank; one brother, Thomas Gallahan, Soddy-Daisy; two sisters, Mary Clift, Dayton, Tenn., and Lillian Bogart, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Albert Goss officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bruce Ringer
Bruce L. Ringer of Ooltewah died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in a local nursing home. He was 76.
Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Burial will be in Floral Crest cemetery in Bryant, Ala.

Frank Rogers Jr.
Frank Rogers Jr. died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 74.
Graveside services will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National cemetery with the Rev. Billy Brown and the Rev. Tracy Daniels officiating.

Patricia Shull
Patricia N. Shull of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 64.
Services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with minister William Nave officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Clifford Williams
Clifford Julian Williams of Monroe, N.C., died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in a health care facility. He was 66.
The Chattanooga native was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was retired after having worked for many years in the printing industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Hayden and Gladys Mae Thompson Williams.
Survivors include one son, Clifford J. Williams Jr., Rossville; and a sister, the Rev. Barbara Coots of Monroe; several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.

Billy Adams
DAYTON, Tenn. - Billy Adams died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was 50.
He was a native of Sale Creek, Tenn., and a member of New Union Baptist Church.
Mr. Adams was a graduate of Sale Creek High School, a labor foreman at TVA Sequoyah Nuclear Plant for 21 years and a member and Past Master of Masonic Lodge 512 F&AM.;
He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Varner Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Adams; one son, Jason Adams, Dayton; his father, Ray E. Adams, Sale Creek; three sisters, Anna York, New York, Wilma Emery, Sale Creek, and Betty Williamson, Miami, Fla.; one brother, Sonny Adams, Waverly, Tenn.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Vanderwall Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Ruehling officiating.
Willie Brackett
CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Willie M. Brackett died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at her home. She was 73.
Services will be held today at noon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward S. Robinson officiating.
Burial will be at Fort Hill cemetery, Cleveland.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes before service at the church.

McMINNVILLE, Tenn. - Ida Elizabeth Butterworth, a resident of Spangler Towers, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 89.
