CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Cleo Whaley, 95, of Cleveland died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 29, 1998, in a Cleveland hospital. He was 95.
Services were held today at 2 p.m. at M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home, Cleveland, with William McCloskey officiating.
Burial was in Fort Hill cemetery.
Visitation was to be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Samuel Marsh
Samuel Marsh died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, in a local hospital. He was 57.
He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church.

Harold Morgan Jr. of Atlanta died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998.
Funeral services were today at noon at Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home, Avondale Chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Penn officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Edith Potter
Edith Holt Potter died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at a local hospital. She was 79.
She attended Silvercrest Baptist Church and formerly worked at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Holt; four brothers, Otto, Jack, Charlie and John Holt; and two sisters, Ethel Ross and Nellie Snyder.
Survivors include two daughters, Tommye Spietz, Flintstone, Ga., and Joyce Perry, East Ridge; two sons, Larry Potter, Lake Jackson, Texas, and Don Potter, Virginia Beach, Va.; a stepson, Charles Potter; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road, with the Rev. Clifford Owenby officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

George Rennex of Chattanooga died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, in a local health care facility.
