Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. in the Lankford family cemetery in Fort Payne.

Bonnie Mathis
Bonnie Fowler Mathis, formerly of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, in Pacoima, Calif. She was 55.
She was a graduate of Howard High School.
Local survivors include her sisters, Betty Mayes, Barbara Smith, Belinda Johnson and Bernice Davis.
Services will be Tuesday in California.

Ruth Mowery
Ruth H. Mowery of Goodlettsville, Tenn., died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, in a Nashville hospital. She was 84.
She was the pianist and organist at Hillview Baptist Church in Goodlettsville and the widow of Glenn C. Mowery.
Survivors include her sons, Charles A. Mowery, White's Creek, Tenn., and Robert C. Mowery, Cleveland; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville with the Rev. Hiram Lemay and the Rev. Larry Miller officiating.

Grace Simmons
Grace Hays Burgess Simmons of Birmingham, Ala., formerly of Chattanooga, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Harpeth Terrace Nursing Center in Franklin, Tenn. She was 89.
Mrs. Simmons was the widow of William Simmons, a member of the Church of Christ and was retired from Sears.
Survivors include one son, Robert Simmons, Franklin; two daughters, Jeanne Evans, and Lou Anne Simmons, both of Birmingham; one sister, Dorothy Snee, Chattanooga; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Adamsville Church of Christ in Birmingham.
Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Arrangements are by Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Birmingham.
Barbara Suttles
Barbara L. Suttles died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, in a local hospital.
Survivors include one daughter, Latasha Jones; her mother, Edna Drake; her father, R.H. Drake; five sisters, Emma Mapp, Patricia Newson, Louise Thurman, Jacqueline Hutchens, and Tammy Jones; three brothers, James, Charles and Kerry Jones; and one granddaughter.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. William H. Ryan officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills cemetery.

Percy E. 'Chip' Todd of Cypress, Texas, formerly of Apison, Tenn., died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, in a Houston hospital. He was 43.

The Athens, Ala., native had lived most of her life in Chattanooga.

Wooten; two daughters, Sandra Light and Angie Johnson, both of Rossville; two sons, David Wooten, Chattanooga, and Frank Wooten, Winder, Ga.; two sisters, Mildred Overstreet and Doris Poff, both of Athens, Ala.; one brother, Alvin Hagermaker, Hixson; one granddaughter and three great-granddaughters.
Services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Hickory Valley Church of God of Prophecy with pastor Duke Stone officiating.
Burial will be Monday in Chattanooga National cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
