ETOWAH, Tenn. - Ronald George Moore of Etowah died Sunday morning, Jan. 3, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 51.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a member of Cambria Baptist Church.
He was a former employee of J.M. Huber Corp. and was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bell Starkey Moore.
Survivors include his wife, Judy White Moore, Etowah; two daughters, Dawn Moore, Decatur, Tenn., and Kami Moore, Etowah; a son, Ronald Shane Moore, Etowah; three sisters, Edna Casey, Phyllis Perkins and Bobbie Dills, all of Etowah; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 p.m. today in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home, Etowah, with the Rev. Eddie Rowland officiating.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McMinn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Julia Neil
ATHENS, Tenn. - Julia Seward Neil of Black Mountain, N.C., died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, in a hospital there. She was 63.
She was a former resident of Chattanooga, and her husband, Dr. Bob J. Neil, is a former resident of Athens.

Carrie Rothwell
LUPTON CITY, Tenn. - Carrie Gill Rothwell died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at a local hospital. She was 87.
Services were to be held today at 2 p.m. at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Jewell and pastor Steve Cape officiating.
Burial will be in Rhea Memory Gardens.
Terry Shipley
CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Terry Lee Shipley of Cleveland, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998. He was 29.

Burial was to be in Lamontville cemetery.

Marguritte Thach
JASPER, Tenn. - Mrs. Marguritte Thach of Memphis died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, in a Memphis hospital. She was 74.
A native of Jasper, she was the daughter of the late Lucion Carter and Beulah Howard Noell.
Survivors include her husband, John Thach, Germantown, Tenn.; two daughters, Phyllis Taylor, Germantown, and Pat Quick, Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Peggy Morgan and Madeline Parker, both of Jasper; and four grandchildren.
Services were held at 1 p.m. CST today at Rogers Funeral Home, Jasper, with the Rev. Greg Darden officiating.
Burial will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Jackie Woods died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1998, in an area nursing home. She was 84.

Paul Bischoff
Paul A. Bischoff of Birchwood, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at his home. He was 85.
Mr. Bischoff was retired from the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant and was the owner of Bischoff General Merchandise Store.
He was a member of Limestone Lodge 176 and Birchwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lila Bischoff; a son, Jeff Bischoff, Birchwood; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Fike Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Sutton and the Rev. Gary Powell officiating.
Burial will be in Birchwood Baptist Church cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Louise Clark
Louise Morris Turner Clark of Rossville, Ga., died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at a local hospital. She was 75.
Services were to be held today at 10 a.m. at J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Akins officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.
Carl Durham
Carl Lee 'Cooter' 'Bull' Durham of Red Bank died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, in a local health care facility. He was 88.
He was a former employee of the Chattanooga Glass Co., a member of International Glass Bottle Blowers Association, and the White Oak Baptist Church.
Mr. Durham was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include four daughters, Marie Stout, East Ridge, Carolyn Bowman, Red Bank, Robbie Moore and Dorothy Smalley, both of Chattanooga; two sons, Richard Durham, Hixson, Raymond Moore, Michigan; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga Memorial Park with the Rev. John Livingston officiating.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
Foster Friddell
Foster Paris Friddell of Soddy-Daisy died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 70.
He was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and a member of Family Worship Center in Adairsville, Ga.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell Christine Friddell; two sons, David Friddell, Chattanooga, Don Friddell, Soddy-Daisy; a daughter, Shirley Ramsey, Harrison; three sisters, Pearl Hodge and Yvonne Cox, Chattanooga, Ruth Blevins, Harrison; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were to be today at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National cemetery with the Rev. Lloyd McGee officiating.

Ernest Edward 'Buddy' Jett of Rossville died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at his residence. He was 74.
Services was to be today at 1 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Baptist Church, Ringgold, with the Rev. Arthur M. Sisk Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.
The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Edgar Leamon
Funeral services for Edgar Guinn Leamon will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church on McCallie Ave., with the Rev. Harry Lawrence officiating. Dalton Roberts will say the Eulogy.
Mr. Leamon, a well known musician, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at his home. He was 62.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

Mary Pauline Manning of Rossville died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at her home. She was 88.
She was a longtime resident of Walker County, a member of East Armuchee Baptist Church and the widow of Frank Manning.
Survivors include a sister, Bessie Watkins, Rossville; three nieces, Betty Jo Campbell, Rossville, Nelda Wells, Leesburg, Fla., and Louise Tatum, Rossville; one nephew, Jimmy Smith, East Armuchee.
Services were to be held today at 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway with the Rev. David Pruet officiating.
Burial will follow in Concord cemetery.
