Olga Delaney
Olga Mae Ragle Delaney, formerly of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, in Huntersville, N.C. She was 90.
She was the widow of Branch Franklin Delaney.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy D. Sharp, Cornelius, N.C., and Barbara D. Hofer, Savannah, Ga.; two sisters, Recy Morriseey, Black Mountain, N.C., and Lucille R. Saffeed, Okeechobee, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National cemetery with the Rev. Ray Morrison officiating.
Arrangements are by the West Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Helen Ford
Helen Watts Ford of Chattanooga died Wednesday, March 10, 1999. She was 62.
Services will be today at noon CST at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Bracken officiating.
Burial will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
Fred Gray
Fred Van Gray of Hixson died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at his home. He was 79.
He was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II.
Mr. Gray was a former employee of Messick's Green House and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Waldon Gray; five children, Frieda, Gary Vann and Debra Gray, Charlene Whitt, and Janet Kubiszak, all of Hixson; two sisters, Willie Gann, Charleston, S.C., and Joyce McMillen, Chattanooga; and one brother, Cecil Gray, Georgia.
Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Murphy officiating.
The family will receive friends today after 2 p.m. and all day Sunday at the funeral home.
Willie Gray
Willie Gray died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 61.

Georgia Green
Georgia Green of Hixson died Thursday, March 11, 1999, in a local nursing home. She was 75.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Green; and a sister, Irene Ellis.

Donald Charles 'Don' Grob Sr., retired assistant safety director for the Electric Power Board of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at his home. He was 80.

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Josie Ellen McClure of Rossville died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at her home. She was 79.She was a longtime resident of North Georgia, a member of South Rossville Baptist Church and its Grace Sunday School Class.
She was retired from J.C. Penny as an interior designer and was the widow of James C. McClure.
Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Taj, Stone Mountain, Ga., Deborah J. Cox, Graysville, Tenn., and Donna Cates, Rossville; two brothers, George Dub Lynch, Rocky Face, Ga., and Jackie Lynch, Dalton, Ga.; one sister, Alice Sallee, Red Bank; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway, with the Rev. Jeff Daniels officiating.

Catherine Nevins
Catherine Grace Nevins died Thursday, March 11, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 89.
She was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., and had lived in Los Angeles, prior to moving to Chattanooga 45 years ago.
She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church, the manager of St. Stephens Religious Shoppe, and was past president of the Chattanooga Newcomers Club.
She was the widow of James Edward Nevins.
Survivors include one son, Richard C. Nevins, Chicago; two daughters, Patricia A. Mason, Columbia, S.C., and Gail L. Nevins, Chattanooga; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church with the Rev. P.J. McGinnity officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at the church.

Lucy B. Powell of Red Bank died Friday, March 12, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 94.
She was the widow of Henry O. Powell, a member of White Oak Baptist Church and a longtime employee of the Industrial YMCA.
Survivors include three sisters, Bina Sullivan, Chattanooga, Martha Meachen, Jacksonville, Fla., and Wyona Cress, Hattiesburg, Miss.
Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Dr. John Franklin officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

William Pratt
William Luster Pratt of East Ridge died Friday, March 12, 1999, at his home. He was 88.
A native of Paragould, Ark., he was a farmer until his retirement in 1983 when he relocated to Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Pratt.
Survivors include his wife, Wava M. Davidson Pratt; one sister, Marie Markley, Paragould; and two stepsons, Billy G. Davidson, Ringgold, Ga., and Donnie Davidson, Apison, Tenn.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.
Burial will be in Gainesville cemetery.

Mary Pritchett
Mary Sorrells Pritchett died Friday, March 12, 1999, at her home. She was 72.
She was a native of Cedar Town, Ga., and had lived in Albertville, Ala., prior to moving to Chattanooga 50 years ago.
Mrs. Pritchett was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church, retired from DuPont after 32 years, and from Karen's Hallmark after 10 years.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Pritchett; three daughters, Wanda Harris and Nancy Bunch, both of Ringgold, and Donna Zeanah, Ooltewah; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road, with the Rev. Haywood Cosby officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
