Aldine Follette King died Monday, March 1, 1999, at her home. She was 87.
Services will be today at 2:30 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Parham officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

James Kitts
James A. Kitts of Harrison died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at his home. He was 70.
The Knox County, Tenn., native had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga area.
He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 44 years, was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Jarnigan Kitts; two daughters, Becky Arp, Hixson, and Vicki Burrows, Harrison; one sister, Mary Lee Mullins, Knoxville; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Stitts officiating.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Lackey
Elizabeth Robinson Lackey of Red Bank died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in a local nursing home.
The Sherwood, Tenn., native was the daughter of the late W.L. and Mildred Robinson, and was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph M. Lackey; one son, Larry S. Lackey; one daughter, Joan L. Moore, all of Ooltewah; one sister, Bonnie Bruce, Fredricksburg, Va.; and two granddaughters.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Buck officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jerry Layne
Jerry Lamar Layne II of Soddy-Daisy died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 23.
Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Daisy Church of God with the Rev. Marshall Robertson and the Rev. Jim Layne officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
Katherine Lyman
Katherine Ritter Lyman died Tuesday, March 2, 1999. She was 94.
She was a native of Baltimore, Md., and the widow of Albie A. Lyman Sr.
Mrs. Lyman had made her home with her son, Alton Lyman Jr., on Lookout Mountain since 1987.
Other survivors include a brother, Alfred G. Ritter Jr., and two nephews, James and Alfred C. Ritter, all of Baltimore.
Services will be Saturday at Lemmon Funeral Home in Baltimore.
Burial will be in Druid Ridge cemetery.
There will be no visitation at Wann Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Joyce Mainz
Joyce Wingate Mainz of Chattanooga, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in Panama City, Fla. She was 59.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 7, at 3 p.m. at Rivermont Presbyterian Church with Dr. Dan Sansbury officiating.
Visitation will be immediately after the service.
Lillie Morton
Lillie Green Morton died Monday, March 1, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 82.

Semon Neely
Semon Neely died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at his home. He was 77.
He retired from the Chattanooga Airport and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Reabor Neely; one son, Charles Hamilton, Atlanta; one brother, Jimmy Neely, Detroit; and two sisters, Eurma Murrell and Edna Jackson, both of Chicago.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Chattanooga National cemetery with brother Larry Stuart officiating.

Warren Roberts
Warren W. Roberts, retired after 25 years with Combustion Engineering, died Monday, March 1, 1999, at his home here. He was 81.
Services will be today at 1 p.m. at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Summerlin and the Rev. Fate Thomas officiating.
Burial with military honors will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.

Peggy R. Sketoe died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at her home. She was 74.

Yvonne Thomison
Yvonne Thomison died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her father, James P. Thomison.
She was a pharmaceutical representative with Hoffmas-LaRouche Co., a graduate of Chattanooga High School and East Tennessee State University.
She was a volunteer for Contact, past president of the Arthritis Foundation and attended First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her mother, Norma Jo Thomison, Chattanooga; and a brother, Jim P. Thomison Jr., Signal Mountain.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Suddath officiating.

Juanita Thornton
Juanita Thornton died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, in a local nursing home. She was 91.
She was a longtime resident of the Bushtown community, before moving to California, and was the widow of James Thornton.
Survivors include one daughter, Thelma Winsted, Chattanooga; one sister, Mary F. Farmer, Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Highland cemetery with Pastor Ronald Tucker and the Rev. Exer Rochell officiating.
Visitation will be after noon today at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.

Roy D. 'Dick' Vance of Signal Mountain died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in a local health care facility. He was 86.

Wallace Wilson
Wallace E. Wilson of Sale Creek died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at his home. He was 75.
He was a retired independent truck driver and a member of Lone Oak Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Frances L. Wilson; one daughter, Sherry Smith, Sale Creek; five sons, Billy R., Leon, Ronnie A., and David W. Wilson, all of Hixson, and Bobby E. Wilson, Rossville; one brother, Marvin E. Wilson, Tracy City; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Dorothy M. 'Dot' Bedwell, widow of Ray O. Bedwell, died Thursday, March 11, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 76.

James Brock
James Robert Brock of Graysville, Ga., died Thursday, March 11, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 65.
He was a former employee of U.S. Pipe and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was the recipient of a Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Brock; one daughter, Robbie Armstrong, Ringgold; four sons, James R. Brock Jr., New Liberty, Ga., Donnie and Ronnie Brock, both of Ringgold, and Billy L. Brock, Chattanooga; several brothers and sisters; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be today at 4 p.m. at Graysville United Methodist Church with Richard Moeller officiating.
