Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Lane Wells, age 47, of Petersburg, TN, who passed away Sunday, December 25, 2005 in Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in Petersburg at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wells was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Franklin Don Wells & Mrs. Betty Jo Wells of Petersburg, TN. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 daughter: Jessica Lea Mericer of North Carolina; 3 sons: Tommy L. Wells, Jr., Brian Adam Rogers both of Petersburg, TN, & Jody Lee Wells of Murfreesboro, TN; mother: Betty Jo Wells of Petersburg, TN; 2 sisters: Pam Warren & Lisa Ensley both of Shelbyville, TN; 6 brothers: Steve Wells, Ricky Wells, J.J. Wells all of Fayetteville, TN, Hank Wells, Buck Wells both of Petersburg, TN, Randy Wells of Lewisburg, TN and 6 grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ruth J. Dickey
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth J. Dickey, age 89, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Thursday, December 29, 2005 in the Donalson Care Center, will be conducted Monday, January 2, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Billions officiating. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery. Mrs. Dickey was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late Charles Wilson & Emma Katherine McCreary Nix, a housewife and retired seamstress for Serbin, and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include 1 son: Charles Dickey of Flintville, TN; 1 daughter: Dixie Deike of San Antonio, TX; 1 sister: Katherine Forrester of Fayetteville, TN; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Don Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Brace Cemetery. Mrs. Martin was a native of Lawrence Co., TN, daughter of the late Floyd Laws & the late Gladys C. Mosiure Laws, a seamstress and a member of the Park City Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Lori Ann Martin & 1 brother: Edward Laws. Funeral services for Mr. Tony Williams, age 34, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted graveside Wednesday, January 4, 2006 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Mr. Williams was a native of Madison County, AL, son of Deborah Eddy & the late Aubrey Williams, and a heating and air conditioning technician. Along with his father, Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his step-father: Calvin Holder. Survivors include his mother: Debbie Eddy of Fayetteville, TN; 1 sister: Mary Frances Patterson of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother: Johnny Holder of Lynchburg, TN. Mrs. Tucker was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late Eugene A. & John Edna Jones, a housewife, a member of the Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church, attended Corders Cross Roads School and married James Virgil Tucker on September 3, 1948. Along with her parents, Mrs. Tucker is preceded in death by 1 brother: Billy Joe Jones. Survivors include her husband: James V. Tucker of Elkmont, AL; 1 daughter: Julia Kay & Robert A. Mr. Dunivan was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Clayton & Aline Jones Dunivan, a farmer, bus driver for 13 years for the Cornersville School, a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church, a former director of Marshall & Lincoln County Coop boards, a member of the Farm Bureau, the TN Holstein Association & served on the ASCS of Marshall Co. Survivors include his wife: Frances Watt Dunivan of Petersburg, TN; 1 daughter: Marla & Barry Jackson of Petersburg, TN; 1 son: Phil Dunivan of Petersburg, TN; 5 grandchildren: Josh Jackson, Bo Jackson, Jessica Jackson, Clay Dunivan & Riley Dunivan; 1 sister: Janie Overcast of Belfast, TN; 3 brothers: Don Dunivan, Jimmy Dunivan, & Tommy Dunivan all of Petersburg, TN.
