Funeral services for Mrs. Marsha Lucille 'Lou' Webb March, age 35, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2005 in St. Thomas Hospital, will be conducted Friday, October 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. O. Wendell Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. March was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of Finas Webb & Dorothy Cook Webb, was the benefits coordinator for Goodman, was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, loved shopping and spending time with family, friends and Bitty. Mrs. March was preceded in death by 1 brother: Marcus Webb. Survivors include her husband: Terry March of Fayetteville, TN; 1 step-daughter: Latia March of Fayetteville, TN; parents: Finas & Dorothy Cook Webb of Fayetteville, TN; and 2 brothers: Michael Webb of Fayetteville, TN and Myron Webb of Denver, CO. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lois Amason Shrader

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Amason Shrader, age 101, of Flintville, TN, who passed away Friday, October 21, 2005 in Lincoln Care Center, will be conducted Monday, October 24, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in Flintville Cemetery with Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Mrs. Shrader was a native of Albertville, AL, daughter of the late James Newton 'Doc' Amason and the late Janie Kuykendall Amason, a housewife and a member of the Flintville Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Shrader was preceded in death by her husband: George Clarence Shrader; son: Doug Shrader; 5 brothers: J.D., Conrad, Elmer, Clifford, & Bill Amason; 2 sisters: Ruby Gattis, Opal Laycott. Survivors include 1 daughter-in-law: Dot Shrader of Fayetteville, TN; 3 grandchildren: Jim Shrader, Cindy Shrader Byers, Susan Shrader Johnson; 1 great grandson: Wyatt Kip Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Idabel Swafford

Funeral services for Mrs. Idabel Swafford, age 86, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Friday, October 21, 2005 in Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Sunday, October 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Glen Belcher officiating and Gary Thompson as song leader. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Swafford was a native of Murfreesboro, TN, daughter of the late James Edward Dill & the late Laura Ryan Dill. She was a housewife and a member of the Camargo Church of Christ. Along with her parents, Mrs. Swafford was preceded in death by 1 son: James Swafford. Survivors include her husband of 65 years: James Malvin Swafford of Fayetteville, TN; 3 daughters: Barbara Poulston, Donna Cook both of Richmond, VA, Cynthia Roach of Petersburg, TN; 1 son: John Swafford of Hilton Head Island, SC; 1 sister: Ruby Ristvedt of Manchester, TN; 1 brother: James Dill of Murfreesboro, TN and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dorothy McAlister

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy McAlister, age 78, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2005 in Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. L. Ennis Hyman officiating. Burial will follow in Melson Cemetery. Mrs. McAlister was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late Leonard & Alma Smith, a homemaker and a member of the Harmony Hill Church of God. Along with her parents, Mrs. McAlister was preceded in death by her husband: Leamon McAlister. Survivors include 2 daughters: Gail & Dennis Eakin of Fayetteville, TN, Cindy & Allen Sandlin of Athens, AL; 1 son: Tommy & Cindy McAlister of Fayetteville, TN; 1 sister: Clara Ruth Richardson of Petersburg, TN; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Clarence 'Bud' Ealum

Funeral services for Mr. Clarence 'Bud' Ealum, age 89, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in Covenant Manor, will be conducted graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jim Lauria officiating. Mr. Ealum was a native of Arboles, Colorado, son of the late Walter Ealum & the late Anna Reece Nossaman Ealum, a stone mason, a WWII Army veteran and a square dancer. Survivors include his wife: Thelma Ealum of Fayetteville, TN; 1 daughter: Clarice Brooks of Margarita, CA; 2 sons: Bedford Ealum of Glen Ellen, CA, Lowell Ealum of Fayetteville, TN; 1 step-son: Paul Churchill of Reedsville, OH; 1 sister: Ila Mae Sullivan of Cedar Hill, NM; 3 brothers: Ury Ealum of Durango, CO, Carl Ealum of Springfield, OR, Dale Ealum of Beno, OR; 5 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 4 great grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild.

Mrs. Myrtle Wilson

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Wilson, age 75, of Hazel Green, AL, who passed away Friday, October 28, 2005 at her residence, will be conducted Sunday, October 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Bevills Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Madison Co., AL, daughter of the late A.D. & John Ann Johnson Ward, a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and she never met a stranger. Survivors include her daughter: Linda Martin of Flintville, TN; 3 grandsons: Randall Martin, Terry Martin & Stephen Martin and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Charles Ray Jones

Charles Ray Jones went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2005. He was preceded in death by his son David. He is survived by his wife, Iva Boyett Jones of Meridianville, AL; 2 daughters: Kim & Richard Dixon & Sandy Jones both of Hazel Green, AL; 1 sister: Virginia Sharp of Hazel Green, AL; 2 brothers: Everett Jones of Hazel Green, AL, Kenneth Jones of New Market, AL; 4 grandchildren: Lindsey Dixon Alexander, Corey Dixon, Brandon Jones, Chelsea Jones and 1 great grandson: Ethan Alexander and a host of family and friends. Charles was an active member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a former regional manager for Empire Gas and was a night watchman for Madison Co. Commission Dist. #1. The body will lie in state at Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1886 Joe Quick Rd., New Market, AL. Visitation will be Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church with funeral services on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Buddy Alverson, Rev. Joe Wayne Plunkett and Rev. James Campbell officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.

Mr. Sam Tate

Funeral services for Mr. Sam Tate, age 81, of Petersburg, TN, who passed away Friday, October 28, 2005 at his residence, will be conducted Monday, October 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in Talley Cemetery with Bro. Harold Davis officiating. Mr. Tate was a native of Marshall Co., TN, son of the late Fred Tate & the late Rosie Ann Brown Tate, a farmer and an Army veteran. Survivors include his son: Samuel Lusk Tate and wife, Dianne of Petersburg, TN; 2 grandchildren: Eliza & Matthew Tate; 1 brother: Charles Tate of Tavares, FL. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Fellowship Christian Church in Petersburg.

Mr. William R. Vaughn, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. William R. Vaughn, Jr., age 81, of Taft, TN, who passed away Friday, November 4, 2005 at his residence, will be conducted Monday, November 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Mr. Vaughn was a native of Coldwater, TN, son of the late William Robert Vaughn, Sr. and the late Mattie Florence Carter Vaughn, a farmer and worked for Amana, a WWII Army veteran, loved to fish and work in his garden. Survivors include his wife: Nadean Posey Vaughn of Taft, TN; 1 daughter: Debbie Vaughn of Taft, TN; 1 granddaughter: Billie Joe & Michael Dhaese of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother: James Homer Vaughn of Shelbyville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 2 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Tom Bert Whitsett

Funeral services for Mr. Tom Bert Whitsett, age 79, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the Lincoln Skill Care, will be conducted Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Whitsett was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Rollie & Susan White Whitsett, a supervisor at Genesco, a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and an Army veteran. Along with his parents, Mr. Whitsett preceded in death by 1 infant son: Billy Whitsett. Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Mary Jane Widner Whitsett of Fayetteville, TN; 3 daughters: Brenda Eubanks & husband: Alan of Huntsville, AL, Gloria Faye Mitchell & husband: Harold of Ardmore, AL; Debi Samanie & husband: Michael of Houma, LA; 2 sons: Terry Whitsett & wife: Patsy of Huntsville, AL, Marty Whitsett & wife: Mary of Huntsville, AL; 1 brother: Robert L. 'Bob' Whitsett & wife: Betty of Fayetteville, TN; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. James R. Decker

Funeral services for Mr. James R. Decker, age 66, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2005 in Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Decker was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Monroe & Rossie Mae Warren Decker, and worked for the County Roads Dept. Survivors include 1 sister: Juanita Cunningham of Fayetteville, TN; and 3 brothers: Bill Decker of Flintville, TN, Tom Decker, Harold Wayne Decker both of Park City, TN. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home.
