Funeral services for Mr. Clifton Clymer 'C.C.' Keisling, 90, of Marianna, AR, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2000, from First Christian Church in Marianna, AR, with Rev. Randy Hall officiating. Burial was in Memphis Memory Gardens in Memphis with Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of Marianna, AR, in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Keisling, a retired farmer, died Thursday, January 13, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City, AR.
Born February 18, 1909, in Pickett County, he was the son of the late Emitt Keisling and Sally (Ledbetter) Keisling.
He was affiliated with First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Dale Keisling, Marianna, AR; his step-mother, Hettie Keisling, Livingston; three sons, Bennie Ceciel Keisling, Nashville, Terry Keisling, Ola, AR, and Ronnie Dale Keisling, Water Valley, MS; a daughter, Ann Peterson, Eudora, MS; a sister, Edna "Tootsie" Smith, Livingston; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bennie Keisling, Teddy Keisling, Randy Skinner, John Peterson III, Trent Keisling, Thale Keisling, Ricky Keisling, Don Williams, Bob Hutcheson, and Randle Wright.
Wanda L. Carter Knobloch
Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda L. (Carter) Knobloch, 68, of Muncie, IN, were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2000, from the chapel of The Meeks Mortuary of Muncie, IN. Burial was in Elm Ridge cemetery with The Meeks Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Knobloch, an employee of Riverside Avenue Baptist Church in Muncie, IN, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN.
Born in Monroe, she was the daughter of Earl T. and Hattie Ann (Garrett) Carter. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
She was a member of Riverside Avenue Baptist Church in Muncie, IN.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold Knobloch, Muncie, IN; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill Knobloch, Madison, IN, and Bob and Angie Knobloch, Muncie, IN; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dan Moody, Yorktown, IN; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Earl D. and Gloria Carter, Middletown, IN, and Gerald Carter, Livingston; three sisters, Mavis OC Bilbrey, Ingalls, IN, Carlene Thompson, Anderson, IN, and Genevie Ramsey, Rickman; two granddaughters, Melissa Moody and Michelle Moody; and 34 nieces and nephews.
Stella Taylor
Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Taylor, 91, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2000, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Cletis Beason officiating. Burial was in Old Bethel cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor, a homemaker and mother, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born March 15, 1909, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Sarah (Sells) Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Taylor; a son, James Kenneth Taylor; three sisters, Nova Clark, Lee Clark, and Maggie Barnes; and four brothers, Halton Taylor, Hulbert Taylor, Haskell Taylor, and Jackie Taylor.
She was a member of the Plain Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Walter McDaniel, Antioch; a son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Irene Taylor, Monroe; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Derek Taylor, Joe Ramsey, Michael Duke, Charles Ronald Duke, Ed Clark, and Don Clark.
Billy Max Cobble Sr.
Memorial services for Mr. Billy Max Cobble Sr., 53, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2001, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Tracy Langford officiating. The family chose cremation with Livington Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Cobble died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a truck driver, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and affiliated with the Aarons Chapel Church.
Born May 18, 1947, in Monterey, he was the son of Olga Roy of Largo, FL, and the late Strother Cobble.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Linda (Edmonds) Cobble, Cookeville; two daughters, Traci Arruda and Jada Cobble, both of Ashaway, RI; a son, Billy Max Cobble Jr., Groton, CT; a step-daughter, Kelli Ray, Allons; a step-son, Josh Dickerson, Cookeville; two sisters, Diana Harmon, Largo, FL, and Kathy Johnson, Muncie, IN; a brother, Lee Roy Phillips, Anderson, IN; and six grandchildren.
Willie D. White
Masonic rites for Mr. Willie D. White, 80, of Monroe, were held at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2001, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2001, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Irwin officiating. Graveside military services with burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. White died Saturday, April 21, 2001, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was a farmer and a member of Monroe Christian Church, Livingston Masonic Lodge # 259, and a founding member of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. He was a World War II veteran and a 50-year member of the American Legion Bohannon Post #4, as well as a past member of the Overton County Court.
Born January 23, 1921, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Albert and Ida (Smith) White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Corbit White and Orbit White, infant twins, Willard White, and J.D. White; and four sisters, Linnie Allred, Tissie Brown, Ellavee Smith, and Udean Hoover.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Dean (Gunter) White, Monroe; two daughters, Beth Payne, Atlanta, GA, and Susan Asberry, Monroe; a brother, Dick White, Monroe; two sisters, Bobbi Maynard, Monroe, and Nettie Jane Johnson, Sacramento, CA; and a grandson, Thomas Ledford, Monroe.
Pallbearers were Michael Hoover, Rick Hoover, Jerry Melton, Travis Gore, Tim Nolan, and Mike Hoover. Serving as honorary pallbearers were members of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department.

Peggy (Wilson) Pigg

Mrs. Pigg died Monday, April 23, 2001, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dodson Branch Southern Baptist Church.
Born October 19, 1940, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Flossie (Thomas) Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy Jean Wilson, Charles Wilson, and Randall Wilson; and a great granddaughter, Kyra Lashae Rose Christian.

Born September 26, 1959, in Overton County, she was the daughter of Nancy Louise Ramsey of Ridge Top and the late William C. Langford.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her step-father, Harold, G. Ramsey, Ridge Top; two brothers, William Bruce Langford, Smyrna, and Edward Claude Langford, Livingston; three sisters, Delilah Elaine Hammock, Gainesboro, Willa Mae Himes, Watertown, and Katherine A.L. Evitts, Ridge Top; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty Ann Hicks
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Ann Hicks, 61, of Rickman, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2001, from the chapel of Rickman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Eckels cemetery in Rickman with Rickman Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hicks died Tuesday, April 24, 2001. She was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Melvin Randles and June Baisch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Holmes; a brother, Terry Randles; and a grandson, Bradley Swallows.

Born September 27, 1911, in Overton County, he was the son of the late James Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Masters) Goodpasture.
Survivors include his wife, Leafie Goodpasture, Flatt Creek Community; nine sons, Kenneth Goodpasture, and Donald Goodpasture, both of Ohio, Charles Goodpasture, Rockwood, Johnny Goodpasture, Gerald Goodpasture, Bobby Goodpasture, Tom Goodpasture, and Ronnie Goodpasture, all of the Flatt Creek Community, and Frank Goodpasture, Mt. Gilead Community; a daughter, Mildred Brazzell, Smyrna; a brother, Elmer Goodpasture, Flatt Creek Community; 17 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Leonard Marion Deck

Mr. Deck died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Bangor Hospital in Maine.
Born October 3, 1933, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Johnny and Fannie Mae (McDonald) Deck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Deck; three brothers, Raymond C. Deck, William Roy Deck, and Richard Deck; and a sister, Phelia Rae Barnes.
He served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Deck, Old Town, ME; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Armand Pelletier, Caribou, ME, Gail and Mark Doucette, Holden, ME, and Patricia and Jeff Emro, Independence, KY; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne and Karen Deck, Old Town, ME, and Richard Taylor, Kent, WA; a sister, Rassie Brown, Rickman; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Flossie (Choate) Franklin

She was a member of Pleasant View Church of the Nazarene.
