FERGUSON, MR. KENNETH, age 73, of Tazewell, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville on Tuesday, April 11, 2000.

GILBERT, MR. MARK, age 31, son of James and Hazel Gilbert of Speedwell, passed away Tuesday morning as the result of an automobile accident.
The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Pump Springs Baptist Church.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

MORGAN, MYRA GERTRUDE (HIXON), age 84, of Route 5, Rutledge, passed away April 11, 2000 at 12:30 p.m. at home after an extended illness.
She was a member of New Blackwell Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Morgan, and daughter, Eva Singleton.
Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Sidney and Dorothy Morgan; daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Doug Phillips and Mary and Horace Jones, all of Rutledge; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nola Morgan of Rutledge and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 .m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Horace Jones and Tom Owen officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

NORRIS, JOSEPH WALL, age 67, of Talbott, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.
Mr. Norris was a graduate of North Carolina State University.
He was retired from Mahle Inc.
He was of the Presbyterian faith.
A licensed pilot with a passionate love of flying.
He also taught ground school at Morristown Airport.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Sara Wall Norris.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Bickel Norris; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Fran Norris of Talbott; daughter, Linda Norris of Knoxville; grandson, Cade Norris; brother, Bill Norris of Charlotte, N.C. and sister, Carolyn Lottes of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, 8:00 p.m. at Westside Chapel with Dr. Richard Emmert officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.

WALLACE, MAE 'MIMMIE,' age 88, of Arthur, was born Feb. 5, 1912 and passed away April 10, 2000 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
She attended Arthur Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Wallace; parents, William and Vennie (Owens) Brogan; brothers, Clayton, Kyle and Clyde Brogan; sisters, Nell Elyand Laura Hamlet.

Preceded in death by his wife, Anna Bee Lane Woods and a son, Jeffrey.
He was the son of the late David Blair and Phronia Berry Woods, and also preceded by a brother, Blair Woods and sister, Alice Crittenden.
Retired employee of Daniels Construction Co. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

GIBSON, EDGAR (ED), age 84, of Morristown, formerly of Lynch, Kentucky, passed away Sunday morning, April 30, 2000, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Frances Moody Gibson, and brother Floyd Gibson.
He was a World War II veteran in the US Army Air Corps and retired from U.S. Steel after 26 years of service.
He was a member of UMWA Local #7425 and a member of First United Methodist Church.

Gibson, USMC, and wife, April of Jacksonville, N.C.; great-grandchildren Zachary Logan Gibson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Chester Day, Irene Gibson, Geneva and Kyle Hall, and Opal Shipley; several nieces and nephews. KUYKENDALL, DEBBIE SUE (GRANNY), age 84, of Rutledge, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital.
She was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Robert, and two daughters, Rose Mary Brewer and Linda Jean Kuykendall.
Survivors are daughter Virginia Edmonds of Rutledge; sons, Robert, Jimmy and Donnie of Rutledge and Kyle of Morristown.
She had 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was a retired cashier at Safeway Food Stores.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Madge Herron Hawkins.
She is survived by: her husband, Rufus Mack Nichols of Morristown; brothers, Charles Hawkins and wife, Peggy, of Baileyton and George Hawkins and wife, Marie, of Kingsport; several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive; special friend, Betty Cutshall of Morristown.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2000 at Zion United Methodist Church in Baileyton with Rev. Paul Miracle officiating.
Interment will be in Zion cemetery in Baileyton.
Pallbearers will be Parrish Nichols Jr., Stan Hawkins, Mike Hawkins, Calvin Hawkins, John Nichols and Michael Nichols.
