Norma J. Earl, 68, of Memphis, died Saturday at Saint Francis Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Park cemetery. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of St. Paul AME Church. She leaves two caregivers, Kenneth Earl Jr. and Edward Williamson, both of Memphis.

Thelma L. Gurley, 90, of Memphis, retired from Baptist Memorial Hospitals, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with burial in Forest Hill cemetery South. She was a member of Braybourne Baptist Church. Mrs. Gurley, the widow of Louis R. Gurley, leaves a daughter, Sarah G. Redus of Collierville; a son, Donald E. Gurley of Memphis; a sister, Helen Rorex of Carson, Calif., seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Winona Hayes, 87, of Memphis, died Friday at Quince Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church on Brookins, where she was a member, with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Hayes, the widow of Edward L. Hayes, leaves a granddaughter who helped care for her, Coda Cannon, and a great-grandson.

Chester Ivory Jr., 36, of Memphis, over the road salesman, died Saturday at Methodist South Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater Hope Baptist Church, where he was a choir member, with burial in Union cemetery. N.H. Owens & Son Funeral Home has charge. He leaves a daughter, Natasha Ivory; his mother, Bertha M. Robinson; his father, Charles Ivory; two sisters, Juanita M. Robinson and Delois Holt; a brother, Clayton Dawson Jr.; his grandmother, Bertha Slayton, and a grandchild.

Doris I. Johnson, 87, of Milton, N.H., formerly of Memphis, died Friday at SunBridge Care in Rochester, N.H. Peaslee Funeral Home in Farmington, N.H., has charge. She was a member of Frisbie Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Rochester and a volunteer at Frisbie Memorial Hospital for five years. Mrs. Johnson, the widow of Harry K. Johnson, leaves a daughter, Nancy K. Johnson of Milton, and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Cocheco Valley Humane Society in Dover, N.H.

Mrs. Morgan, the widow of Joseph Evans Morgan, leaves a daughter, Jo Ann Hands of Bartlett; two sisters, Doris Stuart of Memphis and Regina Mullins of Jackson, Tenn., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
