Newbern -- Jerry Primrose, 68, maintenance pipe fitter for Goodyear, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Roberts Funeral Home in Kenton with burial in Sunnyside cemetery. Mr. Primrose, the husband of Martha Primrose, also leaves a daughter, Deanna Lynn Primrose Peel; three sisters, Peggy Hutchison of Grand Prairie, Texas, Shelby Jean Kinnemer of Alva, Okla., and Karon J. Smith of Union City, and two brothers, Bobby Primrose and J.D. Primrose, both of Kenton.

Somerville -- Dr. Jesse M. Price, 85, of Georgia, formerly of Somerville, retired pharmacist, former owner of Price's Drug Store and Lakeview Pharmacy and Somerville city alderman for 18 years, died Sunday in Austell, Ga. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Somerville First Baptist Church, where he was a 67-year member and a deacon, with burial in Somerville City cemetery. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II veteran, a member of Methodist Fayette Hospital Advisory Board, a former member of Somerville Lions Club and a graduate of Fayette County High School and the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences. Dr. Price, the husband of Hazel Sloan Price, also leaves a son, Dr. Jesse M. Price Jr. of Woodstock, Ga.; a sister, Irene Sanders of Somerville, and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Somerville First Baptist Church.

Clarence Atkins, 66, of Memphis, former employee of Pro-Serve Chemical Co., died Friday at Crestview Healthcare and Nursing Home in Brownsville, Tenn. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at United Community Outreach Worship Center with burial in Union cemetery in Millington. Millington Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Atkins, the widower of Sadie Atkins, leaves a daughter, Veronica Atkins Lewis of Memphis; three sisters, Estella Pugh of Flint, Mich., Lou Alice Merritt of Redford, Mich., and Gwen Atkins Hunter of Memphis; a brother, Everett Atkins of Bartlett, and two grandchildren.

Betty Jean Bell, 55, of Memphis, homemaker, died Monday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Services will be at noon Saturday at Faith Fellowship Church of God in Christ with burial in Galilee Memorial Gardens. Christian Funeral Directors has charge. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bell, the wife of Earnest Bell III, also leaves two daughters, Trease Bell Moss and Luciana Brown, and a son, Earnest T. Bell IV, all of Memphis; three sisters, Alice Munn Scruggs and Annie Young, both of Memphis, and Gloria Dockery of South Bend, Ind.; two brothers, J.C. Dockery of Memphis and Sylvester Dockery of South Bend, and 12 grandchildren.

Margaret Webb Boshers, 88, of Memphis, retired admissions clerk for St. Joseph Hospital, died Tuesday at Ave Maria Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Jackson Avenue United Methodist Church. Mrs. Boshers, the wife of James A. Boshers for 72 years, also leaves a daughter, Carol Jo Cordell of Bartlett; five sons, William A. Boshers of Madison, Ala., Jerry L. Boshers of Millington, Jimmy B. Boshers of Memphis, Danny P. Boshers of Lynchburg, Tenn., and Wilton Dale Boshers of Collierville; a brother, Elliott Webb of Memphis, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

She leaves a daughter, Sofya Bravver, and a son, Michael Bravver, both of Germantown; a sister, Nina Hertz of Haifa, Israel, and two grandchildren.
