BOLIVAR - Tom Oakes, 69, farmer and employee of Warner Ross Dairy, died of heart failure Monday at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with burial in Maple Springs Cemetery near Mercer. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Whiteville and Stringtown Pentecostal Church in Lexington.
