Bobby Jones, 46, of Memphis, died Sunday at his home. Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home with burial in Union cemetery. He leaves his mother, Margaret H. Lockett of Memphis; two sisters, Michelle Whitney of Chicago and Tonya Gentry of Memphis, and three brothers, Michael Whitney of Chicago, and Robert Whitney and Sammie Whitney, both of Memphis.

Marguerite 'Betty' Kelso, 87, of Pocahontas, Ark., formerly of Memphis, homemaker, died Saturday at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Open Door Bible Church, where she was a member, with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. Bartlett Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Kelso was the widow of Robert Kelso. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Open Door Bible Church.

Linda K. Kerley, 57, of Bartlett, homemaker, died Monday at Methodist University Hospital. Mass will be said at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett, where she was a communicant, with burial in Forest Hill cemetery East. Forest Hill Funeral Home East has charge. Mrs. Kerley, the wife of Samuel E. Kerley Jr. for 38 years, also leaves a son, Sam Kerley of Arlington; a stepson, Danny P. Kerley of Starkville, Miss.; her mother, Kathleen Henderson, and two sisters, Denise Bollheimer and Elaine Shelby, all of Memphis, and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Edith Casone Latham, 87, of Memphis, homemaker, died Saturday at Atria Cordova. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Calvary. She was a communicant of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett and volunteer for Saint Francis Pink Ladies Auxiliary. She leaves a daughter, Gina Romine of Gilbert, Ariz.; a caregiver, Carolyn Jones of Drummonds, Tenn., and two grandsons. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett or American Cancer Society.

Paralee Maclin, 94, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Memphis, retired domestic worker, died Sunday at Beverly Nursing Home in Hot Springs. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at East Trigg Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial at 1 p.m. in National cemetery. Southern Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Maclin, the widow of Albert Maclin, leaves a niece, Tiffani Hall, and a nephew, Rev. William Hall, both of Hot Springs, both of whom helped take care of her.

Dorothy Locke Meadows, 82, of Memphis, retired instructor for Enrii Beauty School, died Monday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown with burial in Forest Hill cemetery Midtown. She was president of Lauderdale Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association, and Sunday school teacher and Love Group leader at Bethany Parkway United Methodist Church. Mrs. Meadows, the wife of Thomas E. Meadows Jr. for 65 years, also leaves two sons, Mark Austin Meadows of Knoxville and Leslie Kent Meadows of Bloomington, Ind., four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to a church of the donor's choice.

Melvin Douglas 'Papa' Rickard, 63, of Millington, formerly of Covington, Tenn., retired customer service employee of Schering-Plough printing division, died Sunday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington with burial in Charleston (Tenn.) cemetery. He was an Army veteran and member of Millington First Baptist Church. Mr. Rickard, the husband of Carolyn D. Rickard, also leaves a daughter, Terri Lynn Rickard-Holland, and a son, Richard Lee Rickard, both of Bartlett; a sister, Virginia Wright of Charleston; four brothers, James Rickard of Brownsville, Tenn., Woodrow Rickard of Mason, Tenn., and Enlo Rickard and Paul Rickard, both of Covington, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
