Alice Lynch, age 60, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday evening, November 30, 2004, at her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Lynch was a native of Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Hirm Edgar Lee and Mary Ella Davis Lynch. She was a homemaker and attended the El Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by sisters, Susie Mae Lynch and Viola Lynch and by brothers, Robert Edward Lynch and J.R. Lynch.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Lee Lynch of Shelbyville; daughters, Dorothy (Dottie) Owens of Mt. Juliet and Vickie Owen of Shelbyville; sons, Jimmy Lee Lynch of Ardmore, Ala, Rickey Joe Lynch of Shelbyville, Terry Lynn Lynch of Woodbury; sisters, Mrs. Mable Cherry of Lewisburg, Mrs. Betsy Underwood of College Grove, and Mrs. Gracie Allen of Shelbyville; brothers, Thomas Howard Lynch of Unionville, William C. Lynch of Unionville, and Edgar Lynch, Jr. of College Grove; 13 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and, 1 step-great-grandchildren.

Annie King Woodson, 97, of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at NHC Health Care.
A native of Unionville, she was the daughter of the late Charles Brandon and Myrtle Elizabeth Coursey King.
She is survived by grandson Larry Woodson, of Nashville; granddaughter Connie Buffington, of Dickson; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Woodson was a member of the Rockvale Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was married
to the late Grady Woodson, Sr. Mrs. Woodson was retired from Middle Tennessee Medical Center and was a homemaker.

Katherine Vincion, 82, of Chapel Hill died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, in Franklin after an extended illness.
Mrs. Vincion was a native of Eagleville and a daughter of the late James T. and Cora Baird Herrod. She was retired from Jensen's Inc. and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
Mrs. Vincion was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Vincion, who died in 1975; a son, James R. Vincion, who died in 2003; and a granddaughter, Cristy Flye, who died in 1990.
Survivors include daughters Peggy (Roland) David of Shelbyville, Sue (Don) Kirby of Smyrna and Diane (Gary) Christman-Stinnett of Chapel Hill; grandchildren Suzanne Gleason, Jackie Heilman, Maria Deason, Cathy Bowman, Leanne Flye, Ron David and Greg Vincion; and great-grandchildren Brandon Doyle, Will Bowman, Cody Bowman, Ryan Deason, Christian Bowman, Haleigh Bowman, Zach Bowman, Taylor Vincion and James Vincion.

Sophie Lowe, 87, of Nashville, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Home following an extended illness.
Miss Lowe was a native of Eagleville and a daughter of the late George Keeling and Flora Jackson Lowe. She was a veteran of World War II, having served in the WAVE Corps of the U.S. Navy. Miss Lowe was a retired social worker with the State of Tennessee and was a member of the Brookemeade Congregational Church, U.C.C., in Nashville.
She is survived by sisters Mrs. Mary Ellen Cannon, of Mt. Dora, Fla., and Mrs. Lillian Colby, of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.

Jill Kiste Thompson, 46, of Rockvale, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004.
A native of Greenville, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Lloyd L. and Lucille Ann Mitchell Kiste.
She is survived by husband Steve Thompson; daughter Jessica Ann Thompson, of Rockvale; brothers Dean Kiste and Lloyd Kiste II, both of Greenville, Mich.; sister Judy Beckwith, of Lansing, Mich.
She was a member of Southeast Baptist Church and was a teacher and a homemaker.
Peyton "Clark Kent" Williams, 1 month, of Murfreesboro died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004.
A native of Davidson County, he was the son of Ralph Williams Jr. and Cherrie Cardwell Williams.
He was preceded in death by his papaw, Ralph Williams Sr.; and his uncle, Ronnie Williams.
Survivors in addition to his parents include brothers and sisters Cody, Wyatt, Cloey and Morgan Williams; grandparents Carolyn and Bobby Cardwell of Smyrna and Anna Williams of Rockvale; uncles Larry (Angela) Johnson of Mt. Juliet and Wilburn Johnson of Nashville; aunt April Robinson of Smyrna; and great-grandparents Velma Birdwell of Springfield, Faye G. and Ralph Williams of West Virginia, Nora Nall of Kentucky and John Trent of Oklahoma.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late James Taylor and Willie Smartt Batey.
She was preceded in death by Dudley Batey, Lillard Batey, and Marion Chinn.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Rowland; sons, Jim (Deborah) Rowland of Eagleville; David (Rhonda) Rowland of Eagleville; Bobby Ray (Betsy) Rowland of Eagleville; Edward “Buzz” (Tara) Rowland of Eagleville; daughter, Robin (Mike) George of Eagleville; sister, Mable Blair; brothers, George Batey, J.T. Batey, Thomas E. Batey, Harry Batey, Ben Batey, Bobby Batey; grandchildren, Heather, Jon, Rayanna, Reilly, and Hunter Rowland, Chad George, Mandy Miles; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Matthew Miles.
Mrs. Rowland was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.

Buford Dewayne Jennette, age 46, of College Grove, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at his residence.
A native of Davidson County, he was the son of the late Buford Daniel and Virginia Mae Sharp Jennette.
He is survived by daughter Mrs. Amanda Jennette Coy of College Grove; son Buford Andrew Jennette of Eagleville; former wife, Mrs. Angie Jennette of Eagleville; seven grandchildren. He was a farmer.

Gordon E. Hicks, 64, of Rockvale, died Wednesday, October 20, 2004.
A native of Nashville, he was the son of the late George W. and Lillian Broyles Hicks.
He is survived by wife Anna Hicks; brother Granville (Patricia) Hicks, of Grosse Ile, Mich.; nephews Todd and Justin Hicks; faithful companion Heidi.
He was an insurance appraiser, a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and a veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a very loving husband, brother, uncle and big Teddy Bear to everyone and will be greatly missed.
