Tommy Otis Dill
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Tommy Otis Dill, 64, died Monday, May 28 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, May 30 at Marlboro Church of Christ with Bro. Joe Abbott officiating. Interment
followed at Marlboro cemetery.
Mr. Dill was born August 6, 1936 to the late Alton and Zula Mann Dill, in Carroll County. He was a member of the Marlboro Church of Christ, an army veteran and a retired truck driver for Milan Express.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Goldia Hale Dill; one son, Lane Dill of Huntingdon; four sisters, Faye Sellers, Floye Ledsinger and Brooksie Parham, all of Huntingdon and Marjorie Hampton of Hollow Rock and one brother, Kenneth Dill of Lebanon.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Roger D. Boyd
McKENZIE - Services for Roger D. Boyd, 44, were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30 at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant with Bro. Gary Carter and Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial was in the Christian Chapel cemetery in Leach.
Mr. Boyd, a carpenter, died Sunday, May 27 at his residence of heart failure.
He was born March 28, 1957 in Trezevant.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Boyd of McKenzie; his mother, Mildred Johnson of McKenzie; a son, Larry Dale Parrish of Trenton; a sister and a brother, Billy Faye Broadway of Cedar Grove and Sherman G. Boyd of Atwood and one grandchild.
Minnie Pickard
LAVINIA - Services for Minnie Rebecca Pickard, 85, were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 1 at Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina. Burial was in the Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
Mrs. Pickard, retired from Mid South Textile, died Wednesdeay, May 30 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of heart failure.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Pickard. She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Alice Wright of Lavinia, Ann Garrett of Cedar Grove, James W. Pickard, Jr. of Jackson and Roger Pickard of Benton, Kentucky; three sisters and two brothers, Lillian Barron of Trenton, Betty Moling, Bobby Loynes and William Loynes, all of Jackson and Mary Cannon of Lavinia.
Doris Lois Blankenship

McKENZIE - Mrs. Doris Lois Blankenship, 58, died Saturday, July 27 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rusty Wilkins officiating. Interment
followed in the Liberty All cemetery.
Mrs. Blankenship was born January 23, 1944 in Carroll County to the late John Priest and Lois Lee Campbell Goodrum. She was a custodian for the Carroll County Court House and a member of the Liberty All United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Blankenship and James Smith, both of McKenzie; three sisters, Evelyn Eubanks of McKenzie and Sue Jones and Peggy Smothers, both of Huntingdon; two brothers, Glen Goodrum of Huntingdon and Danny Goodrum of McKenzie, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Billy Blane Coleman

McKENZIE - Services for Billy Blane Coleman, 64, were Sunday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Academy Baptist Church with Bro. Wendell Boyd officiating. Burial was in Union Academy cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Coleman, an employee of the Carroll County Health Department, died Friday morning, July 26 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
He was born July 16, 1938 in McKenzie to the late Mattie Barker Coleman and Jamie Samuel Coleman.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Coleman; two stepdaughters, Tina Mutters of Jackson and Lisa Thompson of Milan; a son, Dennis Coleman of McKenzie; two sisters, Iris Traywick of Huntsville, Alabama and Willodean Carter of Huntingdon; three brothers, Gordon Coleman of McKenzie, Horace Ray Coleman of Trezevant and Jerry Coleman of Hialeah, Florida; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A son, Mitchell Coleman and a sister, Elizabeth Kelley, preceded him in death.
Katherine Frame

CEDAR GROVE - Funeral services for Katherine Frame, 87, will be on Thursday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Little Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lavinia with burial to follow in Cloverdale cemetery in Milan.
Mrs. Frame died at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon on Saturday, July 27. She was the daughter of Joe Thomas and Lonie Carter Thomas.
Survivors include a sister, Renia Seats, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

McKENZIE - Graveside services for Josephine McCormick, 79, formerly of East Peoria, Illinois, were at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, at Mixie cemetery with the Rev. Sue Sharum officiating. Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. McCormick, co-owner of Mel's Super Service in East Peoria, Illinois, Wismer Court Motel in Camden and finance manager at Hazelrigg Chrysler-Plymouth in Decatur, Illinois, died Sunday, May 8, at her residence.
She was born December 31, 1925, in Plevna, Alabama, to the late Thomas W. Oldfield and Myrtice Evans Oldfield.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin W. McCormick; a son, Gary (Mary Beth) McCormick of Huntingdon; two daughters, Marylin (Earl) Ellis and LaDonna (Russell) York, both of Peoria, Illinois; a sister, Venice Hones of Huntingdon; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ilene Bliss. Memorials may be made to Hospice of West Tennessee in Jackson.
Maggie Lee Williams

TREZEVANT - Services for Maggie Lee Williams, 76, will be conducted at the Wingo Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, with burial to follow in the Wingo cemetery.
Mrs. Williams died Friday, May 6, at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
She was born February 6, 1929, in Somerville, to the late Johnny and Mabel Boyland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. "Jim" Williams of Trezevant; two children, Marvin Williams and Ray Williams; and two brothers, Frank Boyland and MacArthur Springfield.
Survivors include three sons: James "Bub" Williams, Anthony Williams and John Williams, all of Trezevant; three daughters, Clarice Sturdivant of Paris, Gloria Ann Hunt of McLemoresville and Emma Lee Williams of Trezevant; one brother, John Boyland; one stepsister, Lucille Jackson of Memphis; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Hazel Marie Boane

Mrs. Boane, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 5, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born September 3, 1922, in Camden, to the late William Thomas Berry and Maggie Helen Hargis Berry. She was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, W.L. Boane of Gleason; two daughters, Linda Mayberry of McKenzie and Lois Janes of Greenfield; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovis Marshall Boane, four brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Evelyn Agnes Barger

Mrs. Barger died Wednesday, May 4, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born February 27, 1922, in Carroll County, to the late Cassie and Emma Roberts McMillin. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Algie Barger, and a son, Johnny Nutt.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita Nutt of Milan and Linda Maharrey of Cedar Grove; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Fred J. Martin

Mr. Martin died Wednesday, May 4, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born October 24, 1926, in Carroll County, to the late Seth Thomas Martin and Millie B. Hayes Martin. He was a retired technician for ITT Corporation, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and also worked as a machinist. He attended the Carters Chapel Church and taught Sunday school classes. He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Martin, and one sister, Mamie Ruth House Sutton.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sellers Martin, whom he married
January 14, 1947; one son, Steve Martin of Huntingdon; two sisters, Jewell Newman of Huntingdon and Ruby Harris of Milan; three brothers, Ezra Martin of McLemoresville and Robert Martin and Calvin Martin, both of Huntingdon; one stepbrother, Keil Brandon of Middle Tennessee; three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Michael Glynn Newman

CEDAR GROVE - Services for Michael Glynn Newman, 40, were conducted Saturday, May 7, at 12:00 noon in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Windal Walker officiating.
Mr. Newman died Thursday, May 5, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 9, 1964, in Jackson. He worked for BellSouth Phone Company for 13 years as an outside plant technician. He graduated from North Side High School in 1982 and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Melinda Smith Newman, whom he married
July 20, 1986; his mother and stepfather, Maria Kay Myers and John D. Myers of Holladay; his father and stepmother, Jerry Glynn Newman and Judy Newman of Jackson; his paternal grandmother, Della Meals Newman of Jackson; two sons, Justin Michael Newman and Brandon Thomas Newman, both of Cedar Grove; one brother, Randy Newman of Cedar Grove; one niece; and one nephew.
