McKENZIE - Services for Martha Harrison, 86, were conducted at Wingo Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, with Rev. Joe Morlon officiating. Interment
followed in Mt. Ararat cemetery. Rawls Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Harrison died Wednesday, June 22, at Oak Manor Nursing Home in McKenzie.
She was born September 24, 1918, in Carroll County, to the late Perry Harrison and Maude Simmons Harrison.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas Harrison of Trezevant and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two siblings.
Weldon Keith Reynolds
1951-2005
McKENZIE - Memorial services for Weldon Keith Reynolds, 53, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 3, at McKenzie Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Reynolds died Saturday, June 25. He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon and Mallie Reynolds, and two brothers, Larry Dale Reynolds and James Gordon Reynolds.
He attended McKenzie High School and served in the United States Army and Marine Corps and resided in McKenzie for most of his life.
Keith enjoyed an inherent love of nature and had a natural talent for wood carving as well as a keen interest in ancient, world and American history, especially that of the American Indian.
Survivors include brothers and sister, Randolph and Betty Reynolds of Gleason, Arden and Patsy Reynolds of Memphis, Argel Reynolds of McKenzie, Chet and Sybil Reynolds of Missouri and Alice and Roger Vaughn of Florida. Keith also leaves nieces and nephews, Larry, Allen, Bridgette, Elaine, Cindy, Eric, Robin, Suzie and Shayna.
William Ronald "Ronnie" Collins

HUNTINGDON - Services for William Ronald "Ronnie" Collins, 51, will be conducted on Thursday, June 30, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andrew Stokes officiating. The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room from 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday and from 8:00 a.m. until time for services on Thursday.
Mr. Collins died Friday, June 24, in Flagstaff, Arizona, from injuries received in an accident.
He was born January 29, 1954 in Huntingdon. He was a truck driver for the Pat Salmon Trucking Company, a locksmith, a member of Clarksburg Baptist Church, the Huntingdon Masonic Lodge #106 and held the 32nd Degree for the Scottish Rites. He was preceded in death by his father, William Lincoln Collins, who died March 18, 2002.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Lisa Collins; one son, Derek Collins; his mother and stepfather, Mary Butonne Ellis and Willard Ellis, all of Huntingdon; two sisters, Lisa Rimmer of Cedar Grove, Vicky Hamilton of Lexington; and one half-brother, Skipper Lockhart of Lexington.
Zeno Birdwell

BRUCETON - Services for Zeno Birdwell, 82, were conducted Sunday, June 19, at the First United Methodist Church in Hollow Rock with Bro. Robert White officiating. Interment
followed at the New Prospect cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mr. Birdwell died Thursday, June 16, at his home.
He was born December 16, 1922 in Westport to the late Socrates and Lena Parish Birdwell. A was motor mechanic, he was employed at Akers Olds and Cadillac Company in Virginia, operated his own service station in Hollow Rock and was employed at the Milan Arsenal for 18 years. He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict, serving as a member of the 71st Chemical Mortar Battalion, C Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian 'Nell' Bowers Birdwell.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Lena Birdwell of Memphis; a son, Daniel Martin Birdwell of Nashville; a grandson; and one sister, Rhonda May Hendrix of Buena Vista.
Ella Henderson

McKENZIE - Ella Henderson, 62, died Tuesday, November 29, at Jackson-Madison County Regional Hospital in Jackson. Services were conducted December 2 at Olivet Baptist Church with the Rev. A. Taylor of Union Grove Baptist Church as eulogist. Interment
followed in Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie. Trinity Funeral Home of Paris was in charge.
Mrs Henderson was born September 25, 1943, in McKenzie, to Richard and Sissie B. Scott Dudley, both deceased.
She is survived by her husband, Ives Henderson of McKenzie; two daughters, Kechia Dudley and Lushane (Chris) Allen, both of McKenzie; one son, Richie (Malissa) Henderson of Paris; one stepson, Carl (Muriel) Newton of Benoit, Wisconsin; and 11 grandchildren.
Claude Reams, Jr.

Mr. Reams was retired from the United States Department of Interior. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and retired as a chief warrant officer IV from the United States Army Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Reams; one son, Joe Ted (Carol) Reams of Alpharetta, Georgia; two daughters, Charlotte Barger of Chamblee, Georgia, and Daphne Wilkins of Cumming, Georgia; one brother, James Reams, Monterey, Tennessee; three sisters: Ava James of Stockbridge, Georgia, Emma Turner of Huntingdon, and Mary Pendergrass of Madison, Alabama; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Marceal Traywick

Mrs. Traywick was born October 18, 1930, in Henry, to the late Edgar Lee and Dollie Violet Owen Glisson. She was a homemaker and a member of Caledonia Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gordon Traywick; one son, David Traywick of Tunnelhill, Georgia; two daughters, Diane Kinman of Henry and Mary Klopfenstein of McKenzie; three brothers, Lyndol Glisson, Ray Glisson and Dennis Glisson, all of McKenzie; three sisters, Ailene Sensing and Joyce Harrison, both of Paris; and Marie Nash of Henry; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson.

Mr. McDaniel was born September 2, 1930, in Henry, to the late Robert and Ora Elizabeth Smith McDaniel. He was retired from the city of McKenzie.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley June Sawyers McDaniel of McKenzie; two sons, Michael Edward McDaniel and Mark Ray McDaniel, both of McKenzie; one daughter, Marsha Lynn Hatley of Gleason; one brother, Guy McDaniel of Wynburg, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Jewell Jean Traywick

Mrs. Traywick was born October 18, 1925, in McLemoresville, to George Edwards Rogers and Wilard Carter Rogers, both deceased. She was a homemaker and member of Union Academy Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Traywick, and her husband, Marvin F. Traywick.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie (James) Smith of McKenzie; one sister, Margaret (Richard) Flippin of McKenzie; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Hershel Rogers, Gordon Rogers and Sam Rogers; and three sisters: Pauline Younger, Lucy Williams, and Nell Hatfield.
Titus Luke Buttrey

CLARKSBURG - Titus Luke Buttrey, 64, died Friday, December 2, at St. Thomas Hospital. Funeral services were conducted December 5 in the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with minister Randall Nash officiating. Burial followed in Union cemetery.
Mr. Buttrey was a state manager with Investors Heritage Insurance Co. and a minister at Sunset View Church of Christ. He also served as member of the South Carroll School Board.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Ruth Buttrey of Clarksburg; two sons, Troy (Kristy) Buttrey of Paris and Todd Buttrey and fiancee' Robin Carter of Clarksburg; one daughter, Kimberly (Kerry) Buttrey Mallard of Lexington; one brother, L.C. Buttrey of Cookeville; four sisters: Annie Walker of Lewisburg and Thelma Nash, Hazel Buttrey, and Joyce Cathey, all of Fairview; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leechy and Vera Harrison Buttrey.

Mrs. Hampton was born December 17, 1942, in Huntingdon, to the late Manuel and Laura Johnson Adams. She was an employee of MIG's factory and a member of the Clark Street Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Obie Adams Jr. and a great-grandchild.
She is survived by two daughters: Vernessia White-Shelton of Huntingdon and Kim Willis of Jackson; two sons, Dwight White of Vienna, Illinois; and Demetricus Hampton of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five sisters: Katherine Adams, Frances Adams, Sherron Taylor, Pamela Adams, and Mavis Keith, all of Huntingdon; three brothers: Hurbert Adams of Lexington and Marvin Adams and Andrea Adams, both of Huntingdon; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Turner was born April 5, 1910, in Carroll County, to the late Dave and Minnie Dickerson Neely. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Turner, who died in 2002; a daughter, Louise Pickler; two sisters, Bessie Wilson and Maggie Williams; two brothers, Otis "Cokie" Neely and Glen Neely; and a son-in-law, John Woodson.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen Woodson, of Memphis; a son, Hulon (Mabel) Turner, of Camden; a sister, Irene Yarbrough of Huntingdon; and six grandchildren, Lecee Pickler, (Gene) Adams, John Michael (Lori) Woodson, Melinda Turner (Tim) Hastings, Dwain (Linda) Pickler, Mark Edward (Michelle Woodson and Philip (Tina) Turner; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Curtis was born June 14, 1938, in McKenzie, to the late John Curtis and Frances Townes Curtis of McKenzie, who survives. He was a carpenter.
He is survived by one daughter, Nancy Yates of Dresden; two sons, David Curtis of Humboldt and John Rochietti of Griffith, Indiana; one sister, Carol Weldon of Hawaii; one brother, Joe Curtis of McKenzie; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Curtis.
