MCKENZIE: Services for Willis Reuben Chandler, Jr., 59, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial will follow at Finley cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Chandler, a mechanic, died at his home on Monday, September 23.
He was born August 11, 1943 in McKenzie to the late Sara Grace Huggins and Willis Reuben Chandler, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Ann Dunlap Chandler, a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Matthew Chandler and one grandson, Chandler Noah Chapman.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Anderson, Frank Morgan, Donald Trull, Ray Trull, James (Doodle) Pruitt and Bob Brawner.
Robert Lee "Bob" Autry
1946-2005
CAMDEN: Robert Lee "Bob" Autry, 59, died Thursday, December 1, at the Camden General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted December 3 in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Greer officiating. Interment
followed in the Davis Chapel cemetery.
Mr. Autry was born September 15, 1946, in Carroll County, to the late Clyde and Hazel (Cary) Autry. He was preceded in death by one sister, Marzine Autry, and five brothers: Bernice Autry, James Autry, Alvis Ray Autry, Arvel Autry, and Billy Autry.
He is survived by four sisters: Faye Ellis of Huntingdon, Sue Frazee and Patricia Taylor, both of Camden, and Shirley Altom of Parker's Crossroads, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
MAXEY MOUZON HOPPER

GLEASON: Maxey Mouzon Hopper, 81, died Friday, April 11 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Sunday, April 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Gallimore Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Jeffers officiating. Burial followed in Butler cemetery in Gleason.
Mr. Hopper, a cattle dealer, was born May 1, 1926 in Gleason to the late McKinley and Loreda Spence Hopper. He was a member of the New Valley Methodist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Hopper.
Survivors include: two sons, Don Hopper of McKenzie and Hal Hopper of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one daughter, Fonda Voigtman of Tupelo, Mississippi; one brother, Jerry Hopper of McKenzie; two sisters, Barbara Blackburn of McKenzie and Vaida Olds of Paris; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Brooxie Nell Burrow

MCKENZIE: Services for Brooxie Nell Burrow, 82, were at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 2 at McKenzie Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim McGuire officiating. Burial was in Shiloh cemetery.
Mrs. Burrow, a homemaker, died on Saturday, July 31 at Oak Manor Health Care Center in McKenzie.
She was born October 13, 1921 in Hollow Rock to the late Relia Cannon Pinson and Osco Pinson.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Burrow of McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Burrow.
Mike Hodge
1952-2004
HUNTINGDON: Services for Mike Hodge, 52, were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Brothers Tony Boyd, Tim Maness and Johnny Wall officiating. Interment
followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Hodge died on Thursday, July 29 at his home.
He was born July 22, 1952 to the late Ashley and Victoria Dykes Hodge in Lexington. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Micah Hodge of Huntingdon; one son, Quint Hodge of Lexington, his former wife, Brenda Hodge of Huntingdon; two sisters, Joyce Rogers of Hope, Michigan and Angie Elkins of Atwood and one brother, Ray Hodge of Huntingdon.

BRUCETON: Services for Elsie Ungurean McMillin, 75 were at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 31 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Wages officiating. Burial was in McAuley cemetery near Buena Vista.
Mrs. McMillin, retired payroll clerk for H.I.S. Co., Inc. died on Tuesday, July 27 at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital in Warren, Michigan.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Evans of Paris; two sons, Phillip McMillin of Jackson and Dennis McMillan of Nashville; a sister, Lenore Kryska of East Detroit, Michigan; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman P. McMillin and a son, Gary McMillin.
Richard George Witkowski
1942-2004
MCKENZIE: Richard George Witkowski, 62, died on Monday, July 26 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born March 29, 1942 in Michigan and was an employee of the Ford Motor Company. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Witkowski.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Woods Witkowski; a son, Walter Witkowski; his mother, Mary Romatowski Witkowski; a stepdaughter, Debrah Mahaffy, both of Michigan; a sister, Maryann Witkowski of Florida; two brothers, Edward Witkowski and John Witkowski, both of Michigan; four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.

SARAH MARGARET SPARKS MEBANE

McKENZIE: Sarah Margaret Sparks Mebane, 89, died Wednesday, August 8, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, August 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with burial following in the Shiloh cemetery in McKenzie.
Mrs. Mebane, a retired school teacher and member of the Retired Teachers Association, a Farm Bureau director, and a member of the Macedonia Community Center, was the salutatorian for the McKenzie High School graduating class of 1934. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Bethel College in 1938. She was one of the oldest members of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was active in teaching and also as the pianist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Glynn Mebane, Sr.; her parents, Lonnie T. and Ethel Cody Sparks; and two brothers, Rev. George W. Sparks and Arthur L. Sparks.
Survivors include: two daughters: Sarah Ann (Jimmy) Brown and Martha Sue (Dave) Peters, both of McKenzie; one son, Virgil Glynn (Joan) Mebane, Jr. of McKenzie; seven grandchildren: Marcia (Tracy) Webb, Allen (Tonya) Brown, Amy (Jonathan) Scott, Kelly (Nicholas) Mangrum, Kaci Mebane, Darrell Taylor and Michael Taylor; seven great-grandchildren: Andrew and Brice Webb; Stephen, Cody and Landon Brown; and Justin and Kayla Taylor.
DORIS ANN BROWN
SMYRNA: Doris Ann Brown, 60, died Friday, August 10, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services were Monday, August 13, at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Merwin officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was a member of River of Life Church in Smyrna and had worked for Nissan. She was preceded in death by her father, John Lane, Sr.
Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy Brown; her mother, Doris Lane of Gleason; five children, Danny (Barbara) Lipps, Tony Brown, Debbie (Allen) Merritt, Peggy (Scott) Zdeb, Debbie McDonald, one brother, John (Patty) Lane, Jr.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

MCKENZIE: John Richard Adams, 67, died Saturday, August 11, at Milan General Hospital. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 15, at 8 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie. Funeral mass will be Thursday, August 16, at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris.
Mr. Adams was born August 4, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to the late William Patrick Adams and Anna Elizabeth Hudson Adams. He was a retired New York City police officer, retired from Craveth Swaine and Moore International Law Firm and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Adams, and one sister, Patricia O'Conner.
Survivors include: his wife, Eileen Margaret Costello Adams of McKenzie; one daughter, Dawn (Dewayne) Ervin of McKenzie; two sons, John Adams of Florida and Christopher (Margaret) Adams of Staten Island, New York; one brother, William (June) Adams of Long Pond, Pennsylvania; one sister, Margaret Edward of Rhinebeck, New York; and three grandchildren, John William Ervin, Jacob Ervin and Spencer Ervin.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home.

CEDAR GROVE: Dr. Bennie L. Johnson, 78, died Thursday, August 9, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were Sunday, August 12, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Maness officiating. Burial followed in New Liberty cemetery.
Dr. Johnson was born July 25, 1929 in Cedar Grove to the late William Joseph and Effie (Lewelling) Johnson. He graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1947. After finishing high school he pursued a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He served in the U.S. Army prior to completion of his degree from Auburn University in 1961. Dr. Johnson practiced in Trenton until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Cedar Grove. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Marcella Johnson, one brother, James Edwin Johnson, and one grandson, Parker Bryce Johnson.
Survivors include: his wife of 50 years, Melba (Bridges) Johnson of Cedar Grove; two sons, Thomas (Cindy) Johnson of Cedar Grove and David (Christy) Johnson of Lewisburg; one sister, Rita Johnson Williamson; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

MCKENZIE: Willie Geiger, Jr. died Tuesday, August 7, in McKenzie. Funeral services were Friday, August 10, 11:00 a.m. at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness Congregation in McKenzie with Bro. Leroy Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Geiger was born April 30, 1937 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Willie Geiger, Sr. and Marie Elise Williams Geiger. He was a faithful servant of the Jehovah's Witness Congregation in McKenzie. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbert Geiger and Theodore Geiger.
Survivors include: his wife, Janice L. Fisher Geiger; three sons, Eric (Kimba) Geiger of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Corwyn (Sarah) Geiger of Phoenix, Arizona, and David R. (LaShanda) Fisher of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter, Renae Geiger of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters, Ruby Chaney of Riverdale, Illinois, Anna Geiger and Rudine Singleton, both of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Hayward Geiger of Chicago, Illinois and Charles Geiger of Sanford, North Carolina; and seven grandchildren.

MCKENZIE: Eck. M. Orr, 88, died Wednesday, August 8, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, August 11, 2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, McKenzie with Bro. Fred Morris officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Olivet cemetery, McKenzie.
Mr. Orr was born June 12, 1919 in McKenzie to the late Robert Orr and Dona Cooper Orr. He was a retired timber buyer and deacon at Grace Baptist Church for 52 years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wiley and Wesley Orr; five sisters, Pearl Carey, Emma Reynolds, Eula Mae Morris, Nina Morris, and Mildred Holbrooks.
Survivors include: his wife, Geneva M. Bratton Orr; one daughter, Bobbie (Wayne) Cooper of McKenzie; and one son, Robert (Beverly) Orr of Gleason.
