Graveside services for Rickard Grooms “R.G.” Freudenthal, 87, were 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Freudenthal cemetery in Charlotte with Rev. Clark Brown officiating. Cole & Garrett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Freudenthal died Monday, April 11, 2005 in Hendersonville. He was retired from Neuhoff/Swift Co. and Shoney’s Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Ercell Walker Freudenthal; sons, Rickard Freudenthal and his wife, Anita, Glenn Freudenthal and his wife, Bettye, Donald Freudenthal and his wife, Agnes, Roy Freudenthal and Ronald Freudenthal and his wife, Christine; grandchildren, Ashley Minnick, Donna Gaddis, Laura Ragan, Dana Finch and Matthew, Donn Phillip, Ricky, Deron and Derek Freudenthal; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, J.T. Freudenthal; and sisters, Susie Gill, Betty Jo Story and Bell Prince.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Garfield and Gertrude Ann Freudenthal; sisters, Gladys Freudenthal and Helen Waynick; and brothers, Raymond, Lee, Ray and Louis Freudenthal.
Thomas Albert Gold
Funeral services for Thomas Albert Gold, 66, were 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Joe Estes officiating. Interment
followed in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gold died Monday, April 11, 2005 at National Health Care Center in Dickson. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Elmer Theodore and Bertha Charlotte Ulrich Gold. He was an employee of Middle Tennessee Lumber Company and attended Parker’s Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Gold of White Bluff; sons, Thomas Gold and Timothy Gold, both of McEwen; daughters, Tammy Ross of Bon Aqua, Tracey Peek of Burns and Terri Gold of Lyles; sister, Janet Anzelone of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Eloise Usrey Morrissey
Graveside services for Eloise Usrey Morrissey, 89, are 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005 at Dickson Union cemetery with Rev. Roy West officiating. Her remains were cremated.
Mrs. Morrissey died Monday, April 11, 2005 at The Meadows in Nashville. A homemaker, she was born in Martin to the late Joseph and Lena Gordon Usrey. She lived in Nashville and was a former resident of Dickson County.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Joan Jones of Dickson, Joyce Willey and Jeanie Odom, both of Kingston Springs, Gary Usrey of Alexandria, Va., and David Usrey of Kingman, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Morrissey.
Lyndon Adolph Thenhaus
Funeral services for Lyndon “Lyn” Adolph Thenhaus, 82, are 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Pastor Dave Deerman officiating. Interment
will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Thenhaus died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was a carpenter, U.S. Army veteran and member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Johnson Thenhaus of Dickson; two sons, Dean Thenhaus and his wife, Bonnie of Belle, Mo., and Dale Humphres and his wife, Kathy of Dickson; two daughters, Nancy Thenhaus of Houston, Texas, and Charlotte Wolfe of Burns; nine grandchildren, including grandsons, Jeff Humphres and Jerry Dale Humphres, both of Dickson and Dusty Wolfe of Burns; three great-granddaughters, Katie Humphres, Hailey Humphres and Stephanie Humpres, all of Dickson; and one niece.
Debra Kay Wall
Funeral services for Debra Kay Wall, 41, were 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dave Deerman officiating. Her remains were cremated and will be interred at a later date in Greenwood cemetery near Charlotte. Arrangements were handled by Taylor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wall, a machine operator with Nashville Wire, died Friday, April 8, 2005 at her home. She was born in Dickson County. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Dickson.
Survivors include son, Dustin Adkins of Dickson; daughter, Cassy Marie Adkins of Dickson; parents, Neil and Joyce Wall of Dickson; sister, Beverly Wall of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Tommy Wall and Chris Wall and his wife, Katrina, all of Dickson; two grandchildren, Dalton Adkins and Dagan Adkins; nieces, Kalsie Shae Wall, Amy Hutcherson and Tasha Wall; nephews, Daylon Wall and Alec Simmons; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rachel Hicks Buchanan
Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel L. Hicks Buchanan, 92, were 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005 at the chapel of Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. Carl Dennis officiating. Burial followed in Simpson cemetery in Waverly.
Mrs. Buchanan died Friday, April 8, 2005 at NHC Health Care Center in Dickson. She was born in Humphreys County to Bob Hicks and Rebecca Spicer Hicks.
She was the retired owner of Mary Carter Paints and Appliances in Nashville, where she moved in 1952, and a member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville.
Survivors include two sons, James A. Buchanan of Hendersonville and Millard D. Buchanan of Burns; one daughter, Ione B. Heath of Brentwood; eight grandchildren, James M. Buchanan, Judy L. Frey, Timothy Heath, Millard Buchanan Jr., Daniel M. Buchanan, Barbie L. Munday, Joseph P. Buchanan and Nanice M. Gilbert; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ollie Buchanan; son, Richard Eugene Buchanan; and grandson, David Carl Buchanan.
Billie Faye Carr
Funeral services for Mrs. Billie Faye Carr, 58, were 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005 at the chapel at Whitson Funeral Home with Gary Petty officiating.
Mrs. Carr died Friday, April 8, 2005 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. She was the daughter of the late Pat and Bessie Satterfield Carr. She was a social worker with the Department of Children and Family Services.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Clark and his wife, Stephanie of Brentwood and Jeremy Clark of Nashville; one daughter, Amy Ing and her husband, Martin of Cookeville; one sister, Patsy Smith of Dickson; and three grandchildren, Spencer, Harrison and Caroline Ing, all of Cookeville.
Jewell Lovette Ethridge
Funeral services for Mrs. Jewell Lovette Ethridge, 83, of McEwen will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen with Bro. Jim Suddeath officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn cemetery in McEwen.
Mrs. Ethridge died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at NHC Health Care Center in Dickson.
Mrs. Ethridge was born in McEwen and was the daughter of the late Jack and Bessie Tate Lovette. She was a homemaker and a member of the McEwen Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, Rodney Ethridge of Greenwood, Miss., Michael Ethridge of Evansville, Ind., Gary Ethridge of Dickson and Jack Ethridge of McEwen; one sister, Edith Kemp of Port Charlotte, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ethridge was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Aden Leon Ethridge.
Wesley Darrell McFall

Mr. McFall died Friday, April 8, 2005 at NHC Health Care in Dickson.
Survivors include his son, Warren Wesley McFall and his wife, Becky of Lyles; brothers, Elmer McFall of Russellville, Ala., and Joe McFall of Mobile, Ala.; sisters, Mary Ruth Proctor of Dickson and Myrtle Falls of Florence, Ala.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierce and Bessie Darby McFall; wife, Irene Uhl McFall; son, Donald Eugene McFall; brothers, Howard, J.P. and Gene McFall; and sisters, Virginia, Bessie and Marjorie.

She died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell, Ky. Burial followed in Brown-Coleman cemetery in McEwen.
Survivors include her parents, Tony and Melanie Nenni of Fort Campbell, Ky.; twin brother and sister, Anthony Michael and Allison Michelle Nenni of Fort Campbell; maternal grandparents, George and Marian Cooksey of McEwen; paternal grandparents, Richard and Sharon Nenni of Albion, N.Y., and Denise and Alan Vanderweyden of Caledonia, Mich.; paternal great-grandparents, Lillian and Joseph Nenni of Albion, N.Y., and Mary Swiercznski of Albion; maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Virginia Cooksey of Dickson; maternal aunts, Leeza (Rodney) Holley and Rachel Cooksey; paternal aunts and uncle, Amanda, Andrea and Adam Nenni; and special cousins, Ryan, Sean and Cathryn Holley.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Lester and Stella Brown.
Mary Richards
Mrs. Mary M. Richards, 84, died Friday, April 8, 2005 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Her remains were cremated under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson. No memorial service is planned at this time.
Mrs. Richards was born in Berkeley, Calif. She was a homemaker and a member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include three sons, George Thompson and Charles Thompson, both of Florida and Ernest Richards of Holly Hill, Fla.; daughter, Laura Adkins of Dickson; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Merriman and Alice Williams Pinch.
Donald Stockman

Mr. Stockman died Thursday, April 7, 2005 in Nashville. He was born in Dickson County. He was an electrician, U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran and member of the local Union 429.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Sue McClurkan of Vanleer; daughters, Crystal Stockman and Angie Stockman, both of Vanleer; stepdaughters, Tammy Williams and Shelly Manor, both of Vanleer; stepson, Michael Williams of Vanleer; mother, Geneva Stockman of Dickson; brothers, William Stockman, Julius Stockman and David Stockman, all of Erin; sisters, Sue Ferguson and Kay Tidwell, both of Dickson, Carol Coleman of Fairview and Gail Lankford and Ann Morgan, both of Burns; seven grandchildren, Jackie, Joe, J.D., Austin, Michael, Kristin and Katlyn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Stockman; and twin brother, Ronald Gene Stockman.

Mrs. White died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at her home. She was born Dec. 10, 1925 in Hickman County. She was a restaurant owner.
Survivors include his sons, Joseph B. White (Kathy) of Nashville, Gary Edwin White (Traci) of Dickson and Roger C. White (Rita) of Dickson; stepson, John D. White of Esperance, N.Y.; daughters, Joan D.
