William Dalton Parchman
Funeral services for Mr. William Dalton (Buck) Parchman, 84, were 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005 at Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Medley officiating. Interment
followed in Edgewood cemetery.
Mr. Parchman of Dickson died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was born Jan. 26, 1921 in Dickson County. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a prisoner of war.
Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Wynn and her husband, John of Dickson; brothers, Ray Parchman of McEwen, Neil Parchman of Dickson and Stacey Parchman of Dickson; brother-in-law, Holland Choate of Dickson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.P. and Effie Street Parchman; wife, Elsie Jewel Parchman; brother, J.B. Parchman; and sister, Gertrude Choate.
Memorials may be made to Edgewood Methodist Church.
James Curtis Sensing
Funeral services for Mr. James Curtis “Curt” Sensing, 68, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Jamie Allen and Bro. Tommy Street officiating. Interment

Mr. Sensing of Charlotte died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at National Health Care Center in Dickson. A native of Dickson County, he was a 30-year employee of Middle Tennessee Paving Company. He also worked for the Dickson County Highway Department. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Hayes Sensing of Charlotte; sons, Randy Sensing and his wife, Brenda of Charlotte, Gary Sensing and his wife, Lisa of Dickson, and Steve Sensing and his wife, Cindy of Charlotte; daughter, Jennifer Poole and her husband, Chuck of Dickson; and seven grandchildren, Sheryl Sensing, Jeremy Sensing, Ryan Sensing, Autumn Sensing, Jake Sensing, Austin Poole and Caden Poole.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Drury Sensing and Katie Simpkins Sensing; brothers, William Henry Sensing, Kelly Sensing, John D. Sensing, Arnold Sensing, Clifford Sensing and Lawrence Breeden; and sisters, Ellie and Ella Sensing.
Edna Marie Tidwell

Miss Tidwell of Bon Aqua died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005.

Sherrill Ann Bell Woods

Mrs. Woods, a demonstrator for Sam’s Club in Bellevue, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005 at Centennial Medical Center. She was born in Dickson County.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Woods of Kingston Springs; sons, Jeffrey Woods of Kingston Springs and Billy Woods and his wife, Linda of Nunnelly; mother, Hilda Taylor Bell of White Bluff; brothers, Eugene Bell of Dickson, Tommy Bell of White Bluff, Johnny Bell of White Bluff and Joe Bell of White Bluff; two grandchildren, Michael and Jessica; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Bryant Bell.
Irene Mae Watkins

Mrs. Watkins is survived by her husband, Lester Watkins of Cumberland Furnace; sons, Bobby Heath of Crossville and Billy Heath of Ohio; sister, Ella M. Batey DeLoach of Charlotte; nine grandchildren; stepgrandson, Paul Watkins; and two step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ozzie Job Batey; stepson, Jimmy Watkins; brothers, John, Willie, Ewing, Roy, Herbert, Grady and Howard Batey; and sisters, Katie Batey Travis and Ethel Batey Sensing.

Lucille Dunn Stewart

Mrs. Stewart died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was a retired employee with the former Henry I. Siegel Garment Co., Red Cap Co. and Schrader. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include her husband, Johnnie A. Stewart of Dickson; son, Sonny Stewart of Dickson; daughters, Martha Stewart Flatt of Cookeville and Sue Stewart Edmisson and Kay Stewart Franklin, both of Dickson; sister, Georgia Fowler of Charlotte; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by grandsons, Barry Pruett and Todd Pruett; and parents, Will and Maggie Arnold Dunn.

Tommy Edward Curtis

Mr. Curtis, a maintenance man with Nissan Motor Corp., died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Counihan Curtis of Dickson; four sons, Keith Curtis of Johnson City, Kevin Curtis of Dickson, Glenn Springer of Dickson and Scott Springer of Dickson; two daughters, Kimaley Clark of Pegram and Heather Phillips of Dickson; mother, Mildred Chappell Curtis Goodale; former wife, Thelma Curtis; brother, James Curtis of Caruthersville, Mo.; sister, Claudette Cecil of Caruthersville, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
James Curtis Dawson

Mr. Dawson died Saturday, April 30, 2005 in Ashland City. He was born Feb. 13, 1930 in Old Hickory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Icy Gertrude Brown Dawson; and sister, Margie Sullivan.
Helen Jean Dotson

Mrs. Dotson died Monday, May 2, 2005 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dotson; and parents, Joseph Hoffman and Vera Hoffman.
David Wells Edwards

Mr. Edwards, a retired auto mechanic with Graham Ford, died Monday, April 18, 2005 at his home. He was born in Bedford County. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Edwards of Dickson; sons, Michael W. Edwards and his wife, Teresa of Dickson and James A. Edwards of Burns; daughters, Patricia Presgraves and her husband, Ted of Dickson and Elaine Hubbard and her husband, Dennis of Charlotte; brother, Harold R. Edwards of Waverly; 10 grandchildren, Kim Stokes, Todd Stokes, Tina Young, Nicky Byard, Travis Edwards, Cody Hubbard, Dustin Edwards, Teri Keener, Niki Presgraves and Brian Presgraves; seven great-grandchildren, Trinity Byard, Trinity Edwards, Lexi Edwards, Cassidy Keener, McKayla Young, Josh Young and Chrissen Stokes; one nephew; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Edwards and Wilma Genora Wells Edwards.

Baird of Louisville, Ky., and Ronnie L. Baird of Dickson; sister, Kathy Baird of Fairview; and two grandsons, Gregory Keith Wicks Jr. and Jamylynn Lewis, both of Fairview.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Russell Baird.
