Funeral services for Mrs. Dela May Lankford, 56, were 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2005 from the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Lankford and Rev. Max Lankford officiating. Interment icon followed in Nosegay cemetery.

Mrs. Lankford of Pineview died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 in Perry County. She was born May 9, 1948 in Perry County. She was formerly employed by Bates Fabricating.

Survivors include her husband, Lanny Lankford of Pineview; mother, Grace Johnson of White Bluff; sons, Mark Fleet and his wife, Rhonda of Sylvia and Jason Fleet and his wife, Lisa of Chapel Hill; brothers, Kenny Johnson of Dickson and Glen Johnson of Pineview; sisters, Katherine Hubbard of Florence, Ky., Christine Dotson of Dickson, Pam Owens of Dickson and B.J. Richardson of Dickson; and grandchildren, Lexie and Taylor Fleet.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Johnson; brothers, Ray Johnson and Willie Johnson; and sister, Ann Fleet.

Clara Dottie Fogus McCoy

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Dottie Fogus McCoy, 83, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Ralph Taylor officiating. Interment icon followed in Williams cemetery in White Bluff.

Mrs. McCoy died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at National Health Care Center in Dickson. She was retired from the former Schrader Company and was a member of Chapel Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie McCoy and his wife, Becky of White Bluff; sisters, Midge Hedgepath of Kingston Springs and Pee Wee Williams of White Bluff; six grandchildren, Dean Allbert, Crissy Cole, April Sanker, Tosh McCoy, Ricky Young and Nicky Young; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm H. McCoy; daughter, Connie Allbert; and parents, William and Altha Heath Fogus.

Polly Grisby Miller

Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Grisby Miller, 86, are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Jim Mickells officiating. Interment icon will follow in Dickson Union cemetery.

Mrs. Miller, a homemaker and retired clerk with Life and Casualty Insurance Co., died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005 at West Meade Place in Nashville. She was born in Lebanon and was a member of Hillview Church of Christ.

Survivors include her sons, George R. Miller Jr. and his wife, Lydia of Meridian, Miss., and Stephen D. Miller and his wife, Laurie of Newton, Miss.; five grandchildren, Michael Miller of Newton, Miss., Kenny Miller of Meridian, Miss., and Ashley Miller, Jamie Miller and Kristen Miller, all of Stephens City, Va.; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Richard Miller; and parents, Thomas R. Grigsby and Ellie Myrtle Ramsey Grigsby.

Odell Iva Nelson

Funeral services for Mr. Odell Iva Nelson, 94, were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Warren Medley officiating. Interment icon followed in Dickson Union cemetery.

Mr. Nelson, a retired operator of Nelson’s Gulf Gas Service Station, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his daughter, Jacky Sue Nelson Clifton and her husband, Raymond of Dickson; brothers, William Nelson of South Bend, Ind., Paul Nelson of Frankford, Ind., and Holland Nelson of Camden; sister, Ernestine Street of Erin; grandchildren, Derrick Clifton, Jason Clifton and Brent Clifton; great-grandchild, Ella Grace Clifton; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Irene Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nedra Smith Nelson; and parents, William Thomas and Bradley Foster Nelson.

Memorials may be made to Gideons International.

Euva Tidwell Rist

Funeral services for Mrs. Euva Tidwell Rist, 79, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005 at Tidwell New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. James Parman officiating. Interment icon followed in Tidwell New Hope cemetery. Services were under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson.

Mrs. Rist died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at Centennial Medical Center. She was born in Hickman County and was a retired machine operator with Genesco. She was a member of Tidwell New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas W. Rist of Bon Aqua; sons, Randal Rist and his wife, Judy of Bon Aqua and Patrick Rist and his wife, Rachel of Bon Aqua; sister, Daisy Atchison of Bon Aqua; three grandchildren, Kelsey Rist, Avery Rist and Stafford Rist, all of Bon Aqua.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur C. Tidwell and Avery Tidwell.

Hilda Marie Tilley

Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda Marie Tilley, 76, were 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2005 at McDonald Funeral Home with Bill McDonald officiating. Entombment followed in the Hickman County Mausoleum in Centerville.

Mrs. Tilley of Centerville died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at Hickman Community Hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1928 in Centerville. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughters, Belinda Kay Linke of Burke, Va., and Sharon Elaine Byrum of Centerville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Tilley; and parents, Adam and Maggie Littleton Cline.

Zola Mae Wrenn

Funeral services for Mrs. Zola Mae Wrenn, 79, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home in Corinth, Miss., with Rev. Nelson Hight and Rev. Rufus Barnes officiating. Interment icon followed in Forrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wrenn of Corinth, Miss., died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 at her home. She was a member of First Church of Corinth and a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Richard Wrenn and his wife, Vivian of Charlotte; daughters, Carolyn Vanderford and her husband, Billy of Corinth, Miss., and Sandra Killough and her husband, Mike of Corinth, Miss.; sister, Vera Derryberry and her husband, Richard of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Ken Vanderford, Nathan Vanderford, Amanda Vandiver, Shane Killough and Dana Tidwell; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen E. Wrenn; and parents, Bob and Ola Ethel Whirley Faulkner.

George Grady Andrews Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. George Grady Andrews Sr., 63, were held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Brother Alvin Walker officiating. Interment icon followed in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Mr. Andrews, retired from Ford Glass Company, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 at Camden General Hospital in Camden. Born in Davidson County, he was a member of Acorn Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Andrews of Dickson, Tennessee; two sons, Cecil Andrews and wife, Robin of Burns and Grady Andrews and wife, Stephanie of Dyersburg; three sisters, Carol Dittmar and husband, Ed of Lebanon, Pamela Hargis and husband, Gary of Waverly and Johnnie Luken and husband, George of Nashville; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ida Lou Clark; and parents, Walter Clifford and Josephine Dixon Andrews.

Myrtle Elaine Chilcutt Brake

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Elaine Chilcutt Brake, 87, are 1p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 from the chapel of Luff Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen with Rev. Ronald Ralph and Rev. Cecil Gilliland officiating. Interment icon will follow in Meadowlawn cemetery in McEwen.

Mrs. Brake, a retired seamstress for McEwen Manufacturing Company, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 at Carthage General Hospital in Carthage. She was born Sept. 14, 1917 in Buchanan. She was a member of McEwen First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Brake and wife, Sarah of McEwen and Gary Brake and wife, Glenda of Burns; three daughters, Patty Jo Welch and husband, Bob of Old Hickory, Loretta DeLozier of Pleasant Shade and Rebecca Brock and husband, Eddie of Mt. Juliet; two brothers, George Foster Chilcutt of Detroit, Mich., and R.C. Chilcutt of Peru, Tenn.; sister, Mary R. Wood of Peru, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Brake.

Jo Ann Montgomery Grant

Memorial services for Mrs. Jo Ann Montgomery Grant, 76, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at First United Methodist Church in Dickson with Rev. Phil Ross officiating. Her remains were cremated. Visitation will be at the First United Methodist Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time. Arrangements handled by Taylor Funeral Home.

Mrs. Grant, a homemaker who was born in Porter, Okla., died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was a member of Dickson First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School class.

Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Lynn Grant of Dickson; two daughters, Susan Grant of Dickson and Barbie Tidwell and husband, Ronald of Lyles; two grandchildren, Wade and Clay Tidwell; three great-grandchildren, Koty, Kanan and Kira; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Rufus and Victoria Porter Montgomery.

Earl McCollum

Funeral services for Earl “Fiddlin Earl” McCollum, 79, were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church with Rev. Horace Perkins and Brother Warren Medley officiating. Interment icon followed in Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church cemetery. Services were under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.

Mr. McCollum, a retired insurance salesman with Interstate Life Insurance Company, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 in National Health Care Center in Dickson. He was a member of the Nashville Musicians Union ASCAP, American Composers and Writers and American Legion Lucien Berry Post 115. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended White Bluff United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Katherine McCollum of Dickson; two sons, Gary McCollum and his wife, Tonya of Nashville and Mark McCollum of Dickson; daughter, Linda Kaye Rye and her husband, Duane of Dickson; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

James Ray Reed

Funeral services for Mr. James Ray Reed, 82, are 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home with Brother Jim Olive officiating. Interment icon will follow in Nashville National cemetery.

Mr. Reed, a retired assembly line worker for Ford Glass plant, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005. He was a longtime resident of East Nashville and a member of Jackson Park Church of Christ. He was a Mason and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include two stepsons, Carl and Kenneth Williams; stepdaughter, Cody Bradley; brother, Wayne Reed; sister, Ola Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Estella Reed; and parents, James C. and Ina Reed.

Billy McCoy Lee Dunn

Funeral services for Mr. Billy McCoy Lee Dunn, 68, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005 at the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Pastor George Rye officiating. Burial followed in Union cemetery.

Mr. Dunn of Dickson died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was born in Dickson County May 10, 1936. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Dickson VFW.

Survivors include his son, Randall L. Dunn and wife, Marcie of McMinnville; brother, Coney Dunn of Vanleer; sister, Wanda Sue Grove of Coweta, Okla.; five grandchildren; special friends, Ann Tidwell of Bon Aqua, Steve Tidwell of Bon Aqua, Kathy Stallings of Dickson, Brad and Chad Tidwell of Bon Aqua, Gauge Tidwell of Bon Aqua, Kristy Nicholas of Dickson, Ray Cantrell of Dickson, Herbert and Jewell Harris of Dickson and Parris and Joann Eastridge of Dickson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dunn; daughter, Sharon Dunn; brothers, Ardell and Warren Dunn; and a grandchild.
