Funeral services for Mr. Ricky William Sugg, 44, are 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson. Interment
will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Sugg, a sheet metal installer with International Brotherhood of Sheetmetal Mechanics, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 in Stewart County. He was also the owner of Pet Plus in Dickson.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Largent Sugg of Dickson; son, Barrett Sugg of Dickson; daughter, McKenzie Sugg of Dickson; mother, Claudine Stinson Drueke of Dickson; brother, Marshall Sugg of Franklin; grandmother, Lucille Moss of Lyles; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Waymon Williams.
Visitation with family will be Friday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 19 from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Dorris Porter Cochran
Funeral services for Mr. Dorris Porter Cochran, 61, were 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Joe Estes officiating. Interment
followed in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cochran, a native of Humphreys County, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at his home. A U.S. Army veteran, he was retired from Dupont with 37 years service. He was a member of Parker’s Creek Baptist Church. He was a graduate of McEwen High School.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Wanda Tidwell Cochran of Dickson; daughter, Crystal Smith of Dickson; brother, Gene Cochran of Dickson; sisters, Margaret Gray of Dickson, Julia Loveless and her husband, Preston, of Nashville and Mary Lois Robinson of Dickson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie and James Peeler, Linda and Joe Cowden and Vera and Dan Allsup; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Farris McNeal and Eura Haley Cochran.

George Howard Gentry Jr.
Memorial services for Mr. George Howard Gentry Jr., 81, were 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Reese Cochran officiating. His remains were cremated.
Mr. Gentry, a construction superintendent with Ray Bell Construction, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of White Bluff Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Westerman Gentry of White Bluff; son, Dale Gentry and his wife, Ellie, of Santa Anna, Calif.; daughter, Shirley Cook of White Bluff; stepson, Phillip Westerman of Donelson; brother, James Gentry of Dickson; sister, Grace Albert of Dickson; six grandchildren, Scott, Beverly, Shannon, Casey, Dustin and Brittany; and five great-grandchildren, Jacey, Brendan, Brody, Brady and Dylon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Howard Gentry Sr. and Mary Agnes Taylor Gentry.

Dorothy Ann Petty Hill

Mrs. Hill, a retired accountant with the state of Tennessee, died Saturday, June 12, 2004 at her home. The daughter of Clyde and Etta Smith Petty, she was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Hill of Chattanooga and Michael Hill of White Bluff; four brothers, Freddie Smith Petty of Cunningham, Alton A. Petty of Burns, Harold D. Petty and Andrew (Buzzy) Petty, both of White Bluff; five sisters, Betty Frizzell of Nashville, Kathryn Cullom of Charlotte, Faye Hamilton and Patti Howell, both of Dickson and Cindy Hogue of White Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
Annie Mai Shelton Sims

Mrs. Sims, a self-employed housekeeper, died Friday, June 10, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. The daughter of the late John Wilson Shelton Sr. and Viola Dunn Shelton, she was a member of the Belltown Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Evonne Dunn Jr. of Dickson; one daughter, Wendy Dunn of Kingston Springs; one brother, Johnny Shelton Jr. of Kingston Springs; three sisters, Vilene Shelton and Maxaline Hunt, both of Nashville and Rosetta Dismukes of Kingston Springs; two grandchildren, Andrea Shelton and Lavon Shelton; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; aunt and uncle, Gladys and Mack Dunn; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Sims and a daughter, Renail Shelton.
Margaret Mae Tucker Waynick

Mrs. Waynick, a retired machine operator with the former Schrader Company with 18 1/2 years of service, died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at her home.
Survivors include her brother, Joe Tucker of Nashville; several nieces and nephews, including Virgil Felts and his wife, Judy, of Vanleer; special friends, Jimmie Darnel, Joyce Felts, Louie Fleet, Mary Lee Fleet and the Leo Moran Family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Benjamin Waynick; and parents, Roy and Meader Ivy Williams Tucker.
Talmage “Sonny” Crowell

Mr. Crowell, a native of Holcomb, Mo., died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was a self-employed owner of Sonny’s Fireworks Convenience Store. He was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church. He was a former pastor for East St. Louis Church.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Crowell of Dickson; three sons, Randy Crowell of Dickson, Michael Crowell of Nunnelly and Michael Rettstatt of Dickson; four daughters, Kathy Crowell and Linda Rettstatt, both of Dickson and Debbie and Denise Crowell; four sisters, Shirley Calvert of Wolf Lake, Ill., Charlotte Hartwick of Campbell, Mo., Alberta McGee of Kennett, Mo., and Thelma Dotson of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Louise Larkins Hutcheson

Mrs. Hutcheson, a native of Dickson County, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at Dickson County Nursing Home. The daughter of the late Hubert S. and Lena Roth Larkins, she was retired with Bell South Telephone Company. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dickson for 67 years, where she was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her son, Gary Hutcheson of Dickson; daughter, Patricia Hutcheson Barrow and her husband, Jeff Barrow, of Orlando, Fla.; brother, Stanley Larkins and his wife, JoAnn Larkins, of Kingston Springs; and granddaughter, Jessica Barrow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hutcheson; and parents, Hubert S. and Lena Roth Larkins.

Mrs. Lewis of Dickson was born in Hickman County June 12, 1911. She died June 5, 2004 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. She was a retired nurse from Goodlark Hospital in Dickson.
Survivors include her son, Robert Lewis and wife, Sherry, of Nashville; daughter, Sandra Overstreet and husband, Jim, of Gallatin; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lee and Annie Penn Rice.
Harold Hartwell Myatt

Mr. Myatt, longtime owner and operator of the former Myatt’s Grocery in White Bluff, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. A proud veteran of the Merchant Marines where he served aboard the ocean going ships during World War II, he was active in the community and was a member of the Church of Christ in White Bluff. He was known for his generous spirit.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Helen Bryant Myatt of White Bluff; daughters, Kittie M. Myatt, Suzanne Myatt Loux and her husband, Duane; grandchildren, Betsy Turnage and her husband, Chad, James Harris and his fiancé, Susan Jackewics; great-granddaughter, Bailey Marie Turnage; longtime friend, Orsalia Asteris; and Timothy H. Myatt, foster child of James and Maude Myatt.

Mrs. Sullivan of Dickson was born in Hickman County March 20, 1922. She died Wednesday, June 2 at National Health Care Center in Dickson. She was a retired machine operator for Henry I. Siegel Company.
Survivors include her husband, William C. “Bill” Sullivan of Dickson; sons, Ronnie D. Sullivan of Dickson and Mick Sullivan and wife, Lisa, of Strawberry Plains and Randy Sullivan and wife, Glenda, of Dickson; sister, Novice U. Petty of Dickson; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Floy Bowen Steele; and sister, Alice Evelyn Leeth.
