Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Fay Williams Blanks, 57, were 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson. Her remains were cremated.
Mrs. Blanks, a native of Dickson County, died Monday, April 12, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Terry A. Blanks of White Bluff; sons, Dennis Blanks and his wife, Jo Paige, of White Bluff, and Coty Blanks and his wife, Terrie, of Burns; mother, Sallie Williams of White Bluff; daughter-in-law, Shelley Daugherty of White Bluff; and six grandchildren, Will, Luke, Jacob, Elijah, Courtney and Zeb.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Boyd “Willie” Blanks, and her father, James L. Williams.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Paul (Tobe) Prater
Funeral services for Mr. Paul (Tobe) Prater, 84, were 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Hicks officiating. Interment
followed at Hicks-Prater cemetery.
Mr. Prater, a native of Morgan County, Ky., was born Nov. 23, 1919. He died Monday, April 12, 2004 at his home in Dickson. He was a coal miner and served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Prater, Kenneth Ray Prater and John Paul Prater, all of Dickson; daughters, Vikki Lynn and husband, Paul Inman, of New Johnsonville and Mary Ruth and husband, Terry Hamilton, of Wayland, Ky.; brothers, Frank and Ralph Prater, both of Wayland, Ky.; sisters, Geraldine Thorpe and Wanda Lee Allen, both of Wayland, Ky.; grandsons, Jamie Shannon Prater and Jason Kinley Raymond; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Merle Ruth Hicks Prater, and parents, Pierce and Ogie Salyer Prater.
Murray Donald Crow
Funeral services for Mr. Murray Donald Crow, 82, were 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Warren Medley officiating. Interment
followed in Middle Tennessee Veterans cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Crow, the son of the late George and Era Mae Fussell Crow, died Friday, April 9, 2004 in Mariner Health Care Center in Madison. He was former recorder for the city of Dickson and member of the VFW and American Legion. He was a retired food inspector for Nashville Metro government. He was a World War II veteran, recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Murray D. Crow and his wife, Cathey, of Tulsa, Okla.; daughters, Sandra Crow Waller and her husband, Rodney of Hendersonville, and Vicki Crow Eells and husband, Paul, of Little Rock, Ark.; brother, W. J. Crow of Lawton, Okla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Organ Crow.
Rebecca Sue Kincaid Dano
Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Sue Kincaid Dano, 55, were 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Robert Cullom officiating. Interment
followed in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Dano, a native of W.Va., died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center. She was a cashier at Pop’s Car Wash.
Survivors include her husband, Maxwell Dano of Dickson; two sons, Shawn Ashcraft and wife, Tracy Felts, of Dickson, and Jody Russell and wife, Kisha Chance, of Dickson; father and stepmother, Harry Kincaid and wife, Della of Cumberland, Md.; brother, Kenneth Kincaid and his wife, Frances Lynn, of Northington, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Randall Davis and Paige Ashcraft; two nephews, Kenneth Kincaid Jr. and Justin Michael Kincaid.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Louise Vuckson Kincaid.
Patricia Joyce Heath Kennell

Mrs. Kennell, of Jefferson, N.C., formerly of Dickson, died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was a homemaker and cosmetologist. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy D. Kennell of Jefferson, N.C.; daughters, Kim Edmission and her husband, Eric, of Dickson, Kristy Owings and her husband, Tim and Kristy Wall and her husband, David, all of Dickson; sisters, Debbie Seagroves and Linda Hibdon, both of Nashville; four grandchildren, Logan, Taylor, Noah and Chase; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Leslie and Margaret Boyce Heath.
Richard Uhrstadt
Mr. Richard Albert Uhrstadt, 52, died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at NHC Health Care Center in Columbia.
Mr. Uhrstadt, of Dickson, was born in Detroit, Mich., Feb. 8, 1952. He was a retired salesman.
Survivors include his mother, Florence C. Uhrstadt of Corona, Calif.; son, Derrick Uhrstadt of Riverside, Calif.; brother, Wayne and wife, Pam Uhrstadt of Norwalk, Calif.; sister, Sharon Hempfling of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Dickson Funeral Home.
Argie Clayton Allbert
Funeral services for Mr. Argie Clayton Allbert, 73, were 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. David Peeler officiating. Interment
followed in Taylor cemetery in White Bluff.
Mr. Allbert, a native of Dickson County, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at his home. He was a timber contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Taylor Allbert of White Bluff; six sons, Terry Allbert and his wife, Carolyn, Jeff Allbert and his wife, Marilyn, Jammie Allbert and his wife, Rhonda, Tracy Allbert, Jason Allbert and Jeremy Allbert, all of White Bluff; two sisters, Maude Foriest and Helen England, both of White Bluff; three grandchildren, Nakeesha Allbert, Courtney Allbert and Brandi Caskey; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ona Swaw Allbert.
Timothy Wade Trotter Sr.
Funeral service for Mr. Timothy Wade Trotter Sr., 42, were 2 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson. Interment
followed in Marion United Methodist Church cemetery.
Mr. Trotter, born in Erin, died Monday, April 5, 2004 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was a project manager with Ray Bell Construction Co. He was a Mason, member of Iron Lodge # 503 and member of Dickson Shrine Club. He attended school in Montgomery County and was a graduate of Central Ohio Technical College. He was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Hassenrick Trotter of Dickson; son, Timothy Wade Trotter Jr. of Dickson; three daughters, Tiffany Trotter, Tori Trotter and Tessa Trotter, all of Dickson; two brothers, John Trotter and Bill Trotter, both of Dickson; sister, Kim Trotter of Dickson; step-mother, Goldie Trotter of Dickson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Wade and Lorene Hogue Trotter.
A Masonic memorial service was 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 at Taylor Funeral Home.
Linda Sue Swaw Cobb

Mrs. Cobb, a native of Dickson County, died Thursday, April 1, 2004 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Frances Harrell and the late Lacy Wayne (Tom) Swaw. She was a homemaker, machine operator with the former Red Kap Industries and member of Lee’s Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Cobb of Charlotte; son, Jeremy Cobb of Dickson; daughter, Susan and husband, Mike McLeskey of Charlotte; step-daughters, Amy and husband, Mark Hooks of White Bluff, and Kim Cobb McCulley of Columbia; mother, Frances Harrell Swaw of Cunningham; sisters, Lisa and husband, Tony Sutton of Charlotte, Pam Auge, Hope Rittenberry and Teresa Haslem, all of Cunningham; five brothers, Dale and wife Lena Swaw of Cunningham, Ricky Swaw, Joey and wife Kelly Swaw of Vanleer, Keith and wife, Nannie Swaw of Charlotte and Mike Swaw of Cunningham; grandchildren, Ryan Cox, Dylan and Tyler Spicer, Nick Rushing and Desiree McCulley; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Davidson, of Centerville, was born April 3, 1910 in Hickman County. She died April 3, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center. She was retired from Henry I. Siegel Co.
Survivors include her son, Malcolm Claud and wife, Jackie of Centerville; step-son, Billy Davidson of Bon Aqua; four daughters, Kathy Chilton and husband of Dickson, Frances Wherry and husband Garland of Centerville; Sammie Sisco of Old Hickory and Betty Baker of Centerville; four step-daughters, Jane Heggie of Dickson, Betty Oliphant, Grace Heggie and Brenda Crozier, all of Bon Aqua; three sisters, Mary Adell Eberle and Thelma Weatherspoon, both of Centerville and Ruth Arnold of Indiana; 32 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren and step-great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ollie Ward Redden; husbands, E. W. Claud and Fred Davidson; sons, Carter and George Claud; daughter, Sarah Claud; and grandson, Michael Chilton.
Katie Savannah Haymer

Mrs. Haymer, of Dickson, was born May 19, 1916 in Cumberland Furnace. She was the daughter of the late Will Jackson and Fannie Tarleton Jackson. She died March 31, 2004 at NHC of Dickson.
She was the widow of the late George Haymer. She was a homemaker, member of St. James Baptist Church and member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include sons, Clyde and wife, Diane Haymer of Nashville, Martin Haymer of Nashville, and Travis and wife, Shuntina Haymer of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Anna and her husband, Leonard Modena of Lyles, Alice and her husband, Floyd Tubbs Sr. of Hohenwald, Martha and her husband, Barry Vaughn of Atlanta, Ga., Billie J. and her husband, Richard O’Neal of Atlanta, Ga.; step-sons, George and wife, Shirley Haymer, and Charles and his wife, Julia Haymer; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Rawlin Lewis Thomas

followed at Jackson Chapel cemetery.
Mr. Thomas, of Nashville, was born in Idalia, Colo., March 25, 1921. He died April 3, 2004 at Tennessee Veterans Home in Murfreesboro. He served in Company D, 7th Infantry in the U.S. Army. He received wounds in action with the enemy near Volturno River, Italy on Oct. 13, 1943 and received a Purple Heart. He was employed in the real estate business. He was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church in Nashville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Thomas of Nashville; son, Bill Thomas of Otis, Kan.; four daughters, Nancy Sutton and husband, Mitchell of Sutton, W. Va., Martha Gonzales of Arvada, Colo., Patty Settles and husband, David of Denver, Colo., and Lydia Strickland of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, John Thomas of Clifton, Colo.; sisters, Shirley Witte of Yuma, Colo., and Eunice Haskett of Haigler, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
