Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Noel Dunagan, 94, were 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence DeLoach and Bro. Warren Medley officiating. Interment
followed at Union cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randy Prince, Larry Petty, Jere Bass, Dan Erranton, James Peeler, Tommy Nicks, Raymond Bradford and Randy Clanton.
Mr. Dunagan of Tullahoma, formerly of Dickson, was born April 16, 1909 in Humphreys County. He died Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Hartman Medical Center in Tullahoma. He was a retired manager of the Dickson County Electric Department. He was a Mason and Shriner.
Survivors include his son, Jerry, and wife Rachel Dunagan, of Shelbyville; granddaughters, Lisa and husband, Randy Clanton, and Tina and husband, Randy Prince, all of Tullahoma; great-granddaughters, Kimberly Tune of Shelbyville and Rachel Ann Prince of Normandy; and great-grandson, Phillip Prince of Tullahoma.
Carolyn Eddine Hughes
Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Eddine Hughes, 51, were 11 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2004 at the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Sullivan officiating. Interment
followed at Hudgins cemetery.
Mrs. Hughes, of Lyles, was born Sept. 5, 1952 in Williamson County. She died March 27, 2004 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. She was a computer drafter in Lewisburg.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Hughes of Lyles; daughter, Jennifer Sullivan of Nashville; brother, Gary Cobb of Fairview; sisters, Betty and husband, James Woods of Burns, and Phyllis Cole-Welker and husband, Patrick, of Bon Aqua; two nephews; three nieces; and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Edward and Ruth Stinson Cobb.
Bobby Joe Poland

Mr. Poland, of McEwen, was born April 16, 1938 in Humphreys County. He died Feb. 15, 2004. He was the son of the late Willie and Alice Adell Forrester Poland.
Survivors include his wife, Georgie Marie Wheeler Poland of McEwen; son, Ricky Joe Poland of McEwen; daughters, Shirley Ann Culley of Dickson, Tammy Marie White of Lyles and Kimberly Ann Poland of Union City, Tenn.; brothers, Homer Poland of Boise, Idaho, Charlie Poland of Maryville and Johnny Poland of Nashville; sister, Mary Nell Gordon of Morris, Ill.; grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Poland, Bobby Daniel White, Tamela Marie White, Amanda Alice Marie Peterson, Ashlee Annette Peterson, Brandon Allen White; great-grandchildren, Austin Allen White, Taelor Danelle White, Gabriel Brian Scott Forrester and Angelena Nicole White; and best friends, Robert Earl and Betty Dreaden of Waverly.
Douglas L. Robertson
Funeral services for Mr. Douglas L. Robertson, 67, were noon Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Rev. Terry Haynes and Pastor James Satterfield officiating. Interment
followed in East Dickson cemetery.
Mr. Robertson, a retired truck driver with Eubank Paving Company, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at his home. Born in Charlotte, he was the son of the late Joe Ellis and Gladys Irene Gardner Robertson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Grimes Robertson of Dickson; three sons, Kevin Robertson of Carterville, Ga., Keith Robertson and his wife, Pam of Cleveland, Ohio, and Scotty Anderson of Akron, Ohio; three daughters, Sandy Robertson of Akron, Ohio, Theresa Reeves of Houston, Texas, and Lisa Rucker, and her husband, Rondal of Nashville; brother, Waymon Robertson and his wife, Juanita of Dickson; two sisters, Helen Robertson Majors of Indianapolis, Ind., and Gracie Louise Corlew of Dickson; 10 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends; and special friends, Herbert Wright and Tim Sanders.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Ellis and Gladys Irene Gardner Robertson; four brothers, Joe Ellis Robertson Jr., William Billy Robertson, Claudy Robertson and Johnny Robertson.
James Cleveland Tinsley

Mr. Tinsley, of Bon Aqua, was born July 11, 1921 in Centerville. He died March 25, 2004 at NHC HealthCare of Dickson. He was a supervisor in the auto industry with Chrysler Corp. in Detroit, served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Grand Lodge of Tennessee, Dickson # 468, Al Menah Shrine, Valley of Detroit, 31st degree Mason. He was a member for 50 years. Masonic service took place Friday, March 26, 2004 at 7 p.m.
Survivors include his sister, Hattie Blocker of Columbia; brothers, William Arthur and wife, Lettie Tinsley of Dickson and J.B. and wife Phyllis Tinsley of Cameron Park, Calif.; half-brother, G.C. and wife, Sharon Tinsley of Lyles; and 10 nieces and seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Laura Tinsley; parents, Birdie Goodwin and Grover Cleveland Tinsley; stepmother, Ida Tinsley Bradford; and two sisters, Irene Tinsley Slate and Pauline Tinsley Wade.
Claudine Sage Coons
Funeral services for Mrs. Claudine Sage Coons, 85, were 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at Taylor Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Marvin Addition of Dickson Union cemetery. Taylor Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Coons died Monday, March 22, 2004 at National Health Care in Dickson. Her parents, John Everett Sage and Iva Malvina McNeely Sage, and a son, Stephen Coons preceded her in death. A native of White House, she was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness Church of Dickson. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Coons, of Castalian Springs; two daughters, Judy Carter, of Bon Aqua, and Dawn Hall, of Charlotte; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Edith Lankford Davaney

Mrs. Davaney, a native of Dickson County, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 in Rapids Regional Medical Center in Louisiana. She was a former employee of Aladdin Industries in Nashville. She was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Close of Pineville, La., and Paulette Stroud of St. Maurice, La.; sister, Leta Stuart of North Carolina; half-sister, Lura Richardson of Nashville; grandchildren: Scott Mabry, Valerie Stroud, Jean Peal Stroud and Christopher Stroud; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Davaney, who died in 1977, and her parents, Lonnie Lankford and Cora Spencer Lankford.

Mrs. Smith, of Nashville, was born July 9, 1930 in Nashville. She died Monday, March 22, 2004 at her residence. She was retired from Bell Telephone Company after 40 years of service.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Robert Louis Smith of Nashville; mother, Hazel Carroll of Nashville; and brother, Everett Lee Carroll of Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her father, George P. Carroll.
Felix Glendon Walton

Mr. Walton, of White Bluff, was born Sept. 17, 1937. He died Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at his residence. He was a sewer crew leader for the Dickson Water Department.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Elaine Adams of White Bluff; son, Billy Donald Adams Jr. of Dickson; daughters, Lori Goodman of White Bluff, Lolita Kinnard of Antioch, Karen Donaldson of Shelbyville, Marita Sanders of White Bluff, Misty Lang of Dickson, Annette Ludine Cook of Dickson, and Kristy Renee Plummer of Thomaston, Maine; sisters, Lillie Bowker and Dewanda Lewis, both of Dickson; thirteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ella Groves Walton; brothers, Clifton, Thomas, Marshall, Carl and Gary; and sister, Agnes Albright.
Fannie Mae Edmondson Williams

Mrs. Williams, a housewife, was born in the Petway community in Cheatham County. She died Monday, March 22, 2004 at National Health Care Center in Dickson. She was a member of Second Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Douglas Williams of Nashville; daughter, Beatrice “Bea” Williams of Dickson; sister, Nellie Talley of Dickson; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Etha Mae Williams and her parents, Bob and Nancy Edmondson.
Patrick Eugene Baker

Mr. Baker, of Fairview, was born Aug. 26, 1959 in Tullahoma, Tenn. He died Wednesday, March 17, 2004 in Nashville. He was an electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie M. Baker of Fairview; sons, Zachary Loyd Baker of Fairview and Adam Baker of Manchester; mother, Margaret Baker of Tullahoma; brothers, Roger Baker of Manchester, Jerry Baker of Tullahoma, Glen Baker and Ray Baker, both of Manchester; sister, Mary Kimbrell of Tullahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd J. Baker.
Anna Costa
Mrs. Anna Costa, 78, of Dickson, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at her home. Arrangements are being handled by Spann Funeral Home. There will be no services. Her remains will be cremated.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Costa of Dickson; sons, Joseph Costa of Winter Garden, Fla., and Lawrence Costa of Dickson; two brothers, William Frey and Frank Frey, both of New York; sister, Matilda of New York; two grandchildren, Jason Costa of California and Laura Costa of Florida; and one great-grandchild, Jay Costa of California.
Edith Lankford Davaney
