Infant Moran, born to Chris Moran and Joleen Rye of Dickson, Oct. 31, 2003, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003 at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
Survivors include parents, Chris Moran and Joleen Rye of Dickson; maternal grandparents, Duane Rye of Charlotte and Regina Donahue of Dickson; paternal grandparents, Larry Moran of Vanleer, Tenn., and Judy Parker of Nashville; maternal great-grandfather, L. Wyatt Rye of Erin, Tenn.; maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Tucker of Lyles, Tenn.; paternal great-grandparents, Effie and Truman Moran of Dickson; paternal great-grandparents, Buddy and Ruby Foreright of Nashville; and several aunts and uncles.
Donald Ward Redden
Funeral services for Donald Ward Redden, 84, were 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson, Tenn. Brother Roy West officiated.
Interment followed in Dickson Union cemetery with Brother Warren Medley officiating. Taylor Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Mr. Redden, a native of Dickson, Tenn., died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003 in Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tenn.
He was a retired bridge operator with L&N Railroad. He was World War II United States Navy Veteran, a member of VFW, American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Florence Daniel Redden of Dickson, Tenn.; son, Donald Redden and his wife, Caryll, of Cumberland Furnace; daughter, Marilyn Tucker and her husband, Bart, of White Bluff, Tenn.; brothers, Thomas Cannon Redden of Hohenwald, Tenn., Gerald (Jerry) Redden of Dickson, Tenn.; sisters, Evelyn Choate and Frances Moore, both of Dickson, Tenn.; grandchildren, Daina (Ricky) Deloach, Rachel (Peter) Carter and Dylan Thomas Redden; great-grandchildren, Christian Albright Redden, John Michael Balitsky, Carolyn Corrine Carter and Elizabeth Deloach; several nieces and nephews.
His parents, Thomas Howard and Mary Cannon Haley Redden, preceded him in death.
Minnie Lenora “Nora” Meeker
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Lenora Meeker, 96, were 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2003 at McDonald Funeral Home. Interment
followed at Hudgins cemetery in Fairview, Tenn.
Mrs. Meeker was born July 23, 1907 in Bon Aqua, Tenn. and resided in Centerville, Tenn. She died Nov. 1, 2003 at Baptist Hickman Hospital in Centerville, Tenn. She was a retired sewing machine operator in manufacturing.
Survivors include daughter, Sara Elam of Centerville, Tenn.; sons, James W. Meeker of West Palm Beach, Fla., Herbert W. Meeker of Nashville, Tenn., and Ward H. Meeker of Guntersville, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Cicero Kelley Meeker, and her parents, Jimmy Sullivan and Leda Martin, preceded her in death.
Robert Edward (Bobby or Catfish) Nicks
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Edward Nicks, 73, were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson, Tenn., with Bro. Steve Baggett and Bro. Dan Erranton officiating.
Mr. Nicks, a native of Dickson County, Tenn., died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003 at his home in Dickson. He was a retired truck driver. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 115 and the Dickson County Fair Board. He was a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include son, Robert Nicks and his wife, Trina of Tiffin, Ohio; daughters, Nikita Nicks Ragsdale and her husband, Ray, of Centerville, Tenn., Pam Nicks Davis and her husband, David, of Ashland City, Tenn., Kim Nicks Brown of California, and Kara (Penny) Nicks Lambert and her husband, Phillip, of Nashville, Tenn.; brother, Walter Nicks and his wife, Margaret, of Dickson, Tenn.; sisters, Vara Sullivan of Dickson, Tenn., Jettie Pruett Leatherwood and her husband, Harold, of Dickson, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His parents, Dallas and Lucille Larkins Nicks, a son, Craig Parham Nicks, brothers R.K. Dallas Jr., and Billie (Goose) Nicks, and a sister, Phyllis Nicks James, preceded him in death.
Raymond Earl Petty
Memorial services for Mr. Raymond Earl Petty, 81, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003 at Dickson Funeral Home. Reverend Phil Ross will officiate. Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Petty was born July 21, 1922 in Henrietta, Ohio and resided in Dickson, Tenn. He died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003 at Horizon Medical Center. He was a retired superintendent of Columbia Cement in Zanesville, Ohio.
Survivors include wife, Catherine Wilkins Petty of Dickson, Tenn.; step-son, David Wilkins of Nashville, Tenn.; daughter, Crystal Ann Petty Zinkiewicz of Nashville, Tenn.; stepdaughter, “Cacky” Pattigrew; brother, Howard E. Petty of Arizona; sisters, Lois Petty Tarnowski and Eleanor Petty, both of Amhurst, Ohio; grandchild, Ellen Jane Zinkiewicz.
His parents, Mead and Ada Jaycox Petty, preceded him in death.

Betty Grace Proctor
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Grace Proctor, 52, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson, Tenn., with Bro. Randy Franklin officiating. Interment

Mrs. Proctor, a native of Pontiac, Mich. and a graduate of Pontiac Northern High School, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003 in Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was a machine operator with True Form Industries. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Roger D. Proctor of Dickson, Tenn., sons, Christopher Wayne Robinson of Charlotte, Tenn., and Tommy Lee Robinson of Dickson, Tenn.; daughters, Brandi Sue Robinson of Dickson, Tenn., Shelley Marie Musical and her husband, Rosco, of Parsons, Tenn.; stepsons, Gregory Dale Proctor and Christopher Charles Proctor, both of Dickson, Tenn., stepdaughters, Any Beth Chessor and Melissa Ann Tucker, both of Dickson, Tenn.; sisters, Dorothy Sanders of Auburn Hills, Mich. and Karen Hoskins of Dickson, Tenn.; brothers, Bruce Cook of Rochester Hills, Mich., Marvin Cook of Auburn Hills, Mich., Don Cook of Bloomfield, Mich., Cecil Cook of Pontiac, Mich., Ralph Cook of Winchester, Tenn., and Arnold Cook of Lakeland, Fla. and 17 grandchildren.

Lucille Burgess Sutton
Memorial service for Mrs. Lucille Burgess Sutton, 82, are 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003 at Dickson Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Chatham officiating. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Dickson County, Tenn., on May 20, 1921. She died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003 at Horizon Medical Center. She was a retired sales lady with Dian’s Dress Shop in Atlanta, Ga.
Survivors include sister, Allene Seals of Dickson, Tenn.; nieces, Sandra Bradford and Linda Fussell of Dickson, Tenn.; nephews, Floyd Davis of Las Vegas, David Burgess of Michigan and Michael Burgess of Florida.
Her parents, Milton D. Burgess and Gurtha B. McClurkan Burgess, preceded her in death.
Isaac Darris Toland
Funeral services for Mr. Isaac Darris Toland, 78, were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003 at Westview Baptist Church in Kingston Springs. Reverend Mark Sheldon officiated. Interment
was in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Toland a native of Hickman County, Tenn., was born May 11, 1925. He resided in Burns, Tenn., and died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was retired from Bridgestone Tire Company.
Survivors include wife, Mary Opal King of Burns, Tenn.; daughter, Carol Ann Ruch of Falls City, Neb.; sister, Evonne Seimmer of Memphis; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His parents, Ernest and Annie (Petty) Toland, preceded him in death.
Alma Appleton Carlson
Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Appleton Carlson, 95, were 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 at the Chapel at Granny White Church of Christ, 3805 Granny White Pike, Nashville, Tenn., with Dr. Dennis Loyd officiating. Interment
followed at Woodlawn cemetery. Family members served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Carlson died on Feb. 4, 2004 at NHC in Dickson, Tenn.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Rick Costa of Dickson, Tenn.; daughter, Mary Jean Carson of Nashville, Tenn.; stepdaughters, Barbara and husband, Paul Long and Christy and husband Jim Williamson; brothers, Roy Russell Appleton and Smith Appleton.

Mario Gonzalez

Mr. Gonzalez, a resident of Albuquerque, N.M., died Friday, Feb. 30, 204 in Albuquerque.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Gonzalez of El Paso, Texas, one son, Mario Gonzalez Jr. of Calif.; two daughters, Melissa Smith of Colo., and Annette Covington of El Paso, Texas; father, Ago Gonzalez; mother, Jessie “Tish” Bradford of Mich.; five grandchildren, Devonte Smith, Chad Smith, Acacia Covington, Elijah Covington, Isaiah Covington; niece, Angela Gonzalez; sister-in-law, Josie Gonzalez; cousins, Steve Dawes and Lalo Perez and the Bradford family.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Gonzalez, and stepfather, Bob Bradford.
Milton Dean Hall

Mr. Hall of Mound Creek Road, Kingston Springs, Tenn., was born on Nov. 2, 1943 in Dickson County, Tenn. He died on Feb. 7, 2004 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was self-employed in construction.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Hall of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; two sons, Robert Dean Hall of White Bluff, Tenn. and Daniel Ray Hall of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; two daughters, Tabitha Hall Cathey and husband, Gary of White Bluff, Tenn. and Crystal Renee Hall of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; aunt Mrs. Daisy Arnold of White Bluff, Tenn.; grandchildren, Samantha, Cody and Autumn Hall, Lacey, Angel Beth Cathey, Bailey and Keaton Holcomb and a “Turtle” Hall.
He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. William Roscoe Hall and Addie Mai Arnold Hall.
