Mrs. Chilton was born January 25, 1965 in Alexander City, Alabama to the late Thomas Junior Gillum and Gladys Ozella Wilkins Gillum.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Chilton of Cookeville and a daughter, Rachael Elaine Chilton.

Tyler Chanel Sturgill

Graveside services for Tyler Chanel Sturgill, Age 2 months, of Cookeville, will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 12th at West cemetery.

Tyler passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Livingston, TN.

Everett Glenn Stewart

Memorial Services for Everett Glenn Stewart, 56, of Cookeville will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Washington Ave. Baptist Church.

Mr. Stewart passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Life House Friends in Cookeville.

He was born on July 11, 1956 in Putnam County to the late Herbert Carlon Stewart and Thelma Frances Brown Stewart.

Mr. Stewart was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church, and was faithful to his church family.

His family includes his mother, Thelma Stewart; 2 brothers, Jack and Chester Stewart; 1 sister, Deborah Chevvenak; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Life House Friends Hospice via 570 State St., Cookeville, TN 38501, and/or Presley Funeral Home.

Margarette Elise Birdwell

Died: Tue Mar 19, 2013

Funeral services for Mrs. Margarette Elise Hudelston Birdwell, 80, of Baxter will be held Friday, March 22 at 11 am in the Chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Webb officiating. Singing will be by members of Double Springs Church of Christ . Interment icon will follow in Crest Lawn cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, 2 pm to 9 pm and Friday 8 am until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Birdwell passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Kindred Transitions & Rehabilitation-Masters in Algood.

She was born March 22, 1932 in Jackson County, TN to the late Darmon and Lola Bell Dyer Hudelston.

Mrs. Birdwell was a member of Double Springs Church of Christ.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and loved her church family with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles T. Birdwell of Baxter; two sons, Michael Birdwell of Cookeville, Randy and wife Michele Birdwell of Michigan; brother, Jonnie Lloyd and wife Nora Hudleston of Florida; sister, Linda Franklin of Florida; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her best friend, Lucille Flatt of Cookeville.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Geneva Billings Sparks

Funeral Services for Geneva Finley Billings Sparks, age 81, will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010, @ 11:00 am from the chapel of Cookeville Funeral Home with interment icon in the Clouse cemetery, Upper Board Valley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, from 4-8 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of services. Mrs. Sparks passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 2, 1929, in White County, TN to the late Jim and Verda Robinson Finley. Mrs. Sparks was of the Baptist faith and she worked many years at Chrysler Corp. in Michigan, Cookeville & Sparta shirt factories, C & M clothing and she love quilting. Her family includes her husband of thirty-two years Floyd Sparks of Cookeville, two Grandsons: Richie and his wife Heather Billings, and Matt Billings all of Cookeville, one Great Grandson: Jaxson Billings, a daughter-in-law Patsy Billings Stewart of Cookeville, one brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Janice Finley of Cookeville, one sister Opal Ware of Lebanon TN. Brothers and sisters in-law: Cordell and Elisa Taylor, Jim Sparks and Kenny and Mary Geesling all of Cookeville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Norval Billings, three sons Richard, Roger, and Scott Billings, two sisters Bessie and Jewell Farley, two brothers Vestal and Alfie Finley. Pall Bearers will be family and friends.

Jack Marshall Neal

Jack Marshall Neal, age 73, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010, at his residence. No services are planned. The family has chosen cremation. Mr. Neal was born February 18, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Bernie and Lorriane Chamberlin Neal. He was self-employed as a Limousine driver. He is survived by four daughters: Lori Neal of Taylor, MI, Vicki Sommers of Newport, MI, Lindsay Neal and Candice Neal of Holiday, FL., two sons: Jack D. Neal of Baxter, and Chris Neal of Taylor, MI. He has nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Two Sisters: Darlean Miller of St. Clair Shores, MI, and Sharon Neal of New Port Richie, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Purdency Neal, and a son Terry Neal.

Laura Mae (Rice) Kaatz

She was born March 7, 1950, to the late Arson & Frances Tankersley Rice. Mrs. Kaatz was employed with Oreck in sales and was of the Baptist faith. Laura loved to cook and bake cakes. She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Lawrence A. (Larry) Kaatz, Sr., of Cookeville, a son Richard Elrod of Cookeville, step-children: Larry Kaatz Jr., Melissa Belous and Cindy Stallion all of Michigan, two brothers: Steve and Johnny Rice of Michigan, two sisters: Flow Ferri and Marie Janowicz of Michigan, a cousin JoAnn Wellman of Paris, TN, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bro. Elmore Judd will officiate at the service.

Elvin Ray Hutchinson

Graveside Services for Elvin Ray Hutchinson, age 75, will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at 5:00 pm at Double Springs cemetery. Mr. Hutchinson passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at his residence. He was born September 29, 1935, in Jackson, TN to the late Willie and Martha Bilbrey Hutchinson. Mr. Hutchinson was retired and proud to have been an Over The Road Truck Driver. He is survived by a daughter Brooke Billett, three grandchildren: Haley, Kaleb and Hayden Billett all of Cookeville, a brother and sister-in-law: Bill & Brenda Hutchinson of Cookeville, sisters: Wilma Hensley and husband Bobby of Jackson County, and Alice Pearl Pollock of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister Faye Qualls. Bro. Tommy Harris will officiate at the service.

Charmaine M. (Evans) Faulkner

Miss Charmaine Faulkner, age 60, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at her residence in Baxter, TN.

She was born October 30, 1949, to the late Anthony and Dolores Evans of Chicago, Illinois.

Miss Faulkner was a homemaker and enjoyed painting ceramics and she was loved by her 22 cats.

She is survived by her sons: Mark and wife Karin McGuire of Homestead, Fl. Keith and wife Shannon MgGuire of St. Petersburg, Fl. James and wife Billiejo Sopczak of Knoxville, TN. Anthony and wife April Sopczak of Seminole, Fl. Shaun and wife Shannon Sopczak of Knoxville, TN. Daughters, Tammy and husband Robert Clark of Cookeville, TN. Kelly Nicholson of Baxter, TN. Tracy and husband David Amet of Virginia Beach, VA. and Nichole and husband Michael Dubois of St. Petersburg, Fl. Two Sisters who live in Illinois.

She has 24 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

The family has chosen cremation. Memorial Service at a later date.

Bobby R. McBroom

He was born June 4, 1952, in Putnam County to the late Ralph W. & Ina B. Brown McBroom. Bobby worked as an OTR truck driver for several different trucking companies. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by a son Bobby R. McBroom, Jr. and a daughter Michelle McBroom, a sister Rose M. McBroom Buck and two brothers Melvin and Randall McBroom, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Carol D. McBroom Sutton. Bro. Earl Dirkson will officiate at the service.

Bobby C. Wilhite

Mr. Wilhite was of the Christian faith and was a self-employed contractor. He is survived by his wife Doris Forsyth Wilhite of Cookeville, two sons: Bobby & Travis Wilhite of Carthage, a brother Michael Wilhite and a sister Wendy Bowman both of Cookeville, and two grandchildren Kohlbe and Darien. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bro. Larry Self will officiate at the service.

Jackie Lynn Allen

She was born November 7, 1963, in Warren, Michigan to Barbara Allen of Cookeville. Miss Allen enjoyed her close friends and family and attended Trinity Assembly Church in Algood. She is survived by her mother Barbara Allen of Cookeville, two sister's; Susie Allen and Tonda Jones of Cookeville, one brother; Tony Allen of Lascassa, TN, two uncle's; Charles Allen and Ralph Allen both of Michigan, an aunt; Mildred Rippetoe of Cookeville, a niece, Kayla Allen and two nephew's Chad Upchurch and Cameron Jones all of Cookeville. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Jack and Mazine Hix Mullins. Bro. Jerry Wilhite will officiate at the services.

Michael Aaron Herron

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until time of services on Saturday. Mr. Herron passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, in Shelbyville, TN. He was born June 3, 1957, to Almedia Roberts Neeley of Shelbyville, TN and the late Aaron Herron. Before becoming diabled Mr. Herron worked for SK Wellman in maintenance and delivery and he also loved all aspects of the outdoors such as Hunting, Fishing, Game Roosters, Motorcycles and Cars. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his mother, his aunt Vertema Maggard of Cookeville; uncle Phillip Hamilton of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; nurse Terri Orkies of Woodbury, TN; and caregiver Judy Cook of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather Thomas Neeley. Bro. Bill Stone will officate at the services. Pall Bearers will be family and friends.
