Subasinghe, loving mother-in-law of Suvarna Rao, loving sister of the late Dr Hector Jayasinha (UK), Dr Esme Fernando (UK), Dora De Silva (Canada), the late Dr Srima Subasinghe (UK), loving aunt of Dr Renuka De Silva (UK), Subodini Clarke (UK), the late Ranjan De Silva (Canada), Liza De Silva (Canada), Samitha Subasinghe (UK) and Amali Subasinghe (UK); expired on Tuesday August 06 2002 after bravely surviving cardiac surgery, a week prior. She was a warm and kind person, always willing to help those in need. Her generous spirit and love for life touched all those who knew her. We will miss her dearly.
