Finton 'Mac' McMahon
SIOUX FALLS - Finton "Mac" McMahon, 68, Sioux Falls, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Survivors include his wife, Berniece McMahon, Sioux Falls; two daughters, Kathy Quinn, Spearfish, and Deb McMahon, Sioux Falls; two grandchildren; and one sister, Ollie Marie McMahon, Schenectady, N.Y.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1953.
Visitation and a Scripture service were held Monday, April 29, at Miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Cathedral in Sioux Falls.
Memorials may be made to St. Francis House or Center for Active Generations.
Frank Bile
ISELIN, N.J. - Frank Bile, 87, Iselin, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Rahway Hospital in Rahway, N.J.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Usera, Rapid City, Geraldine Rosamilia, Franklin Square, N.Y., and Virginia Karl, Iselin; one son, Steve Bile, Midland, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Helen Bile, preceded him in death.
Services were held Friday, April 19, at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Franklin Square.
Kent Hudson
DICKINSON, N.D. - Kent Hudson, 70, Dickinson, N.D., died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at the home of his daughter in Rapid City, surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed by many.
He was born April 9, 1932, in Havre, Montana. He attended school there and married his high-school sweetheart, Alice Medchill, in 1951. After he served our country in the Navy, he attended and graduated from college. His love of nature was demonstrated by his work as a geologist. He was an avid fly-fisherman, golfer and bowler.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife and an infant daughter. He is survived by his children, Doug Hudson, Casper, Wyo., Kathy Klausen, Rapid City, S.D., David Hudson, Lakewood, Colo., Ann Reilley, Austin, Texas, and Keith Hudson, Fargo, N.D.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family will establish a memorial at Storybook Island. Contributions can be made to Kathy Klausen, 4717 Baldwin St., Rapid City, SD 57702.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, at Osheim-Catron Funeral Home in Rapid City. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City. Rev. H.B. Cleveland will officiate.
A memorial service will be held in Dickinson, N.D., at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in the Ladbury Funeral Home.
Lucile Lunder
CHAMBERLAIN - Lucille Lunder, 90, Chamberlain, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Lunder, Chamberlain; two daughters, LaVonne Reinert, Ankeny, Iowa, and Joann Tuvey, Janesville, Minn.; one son, Charles Miller, Danboro, Pa.; three stepsons, Jim Lunder and Larry Lunder, both of Florida, and Ron Lunder, Mitchell; one stepdaughter, Mary Swedlund, Presho; 15 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one brother, LeRoy Authier.
Her first husband, Johnny Miller, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary and prayer service, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Presho.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the church.
Burial will be at Vivian Cemetery.

B.B. 'Murph' Murphree
MOORCROFT, Wyo. - B.B. "Murph" Murphree, 74, Moorcroft, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Nettie Murphree, Moorcroft; one son, William Rooney, Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Coyet Miller and Grace McCollough, both of Seminole, Texas, and Billie Mills, Amarillo, Texas; and five stepgrandchildren.
Arrangements are pending with Fidler-Roberts Funeral Chapel of Sundance.

WINNER - Robert K. Legge, 75, Winner, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Winner Regional Healthcare Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, at the funeral home.

LETCHER - Phyllis Moody, 69, Letcher, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Monte Moody; four sons, Mark Moody, Thad Moody and Wade Moody, all of Mitchell, and Marty Moody, Mount Vernon; four daughters, Linda Bruce, Sioux Falls, DeeAnn Vermeulen, Rapid City, and Karen Fuegen and Lori Kopfmann, both of Alpena; her mother, Nan Pierson, Mitchell; one brother, John Pierson, Sioux Falls; five sisters, Shirley Beck, Mitchell, Joanne Gast, Aurora, Colo., Donna Kaufman, Payson, Ariz., Carol Melton, Durant, Mich., and Audrey Heidinger, Rapid City; 23 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, with a 7:30 p.m. rosary service at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the church.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Wallace D. 'Wally' Chihak
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. - Wallace D. "Wally" Chihak, 79, Garden Grove and formerly of Rapid City, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002.
Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Chihak-Rauth, Del Mar, Calif.; two grandsons; one sister, Lynetta Bowman, Redondo Beach, Calif.; and one brother, Bob Chihak, Sturgis, S.D.
His wife, Madeline Flesia Chihak, preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946.
Gravesite rites with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with the Rev. Howard Smith officiating.
Phyllis L. Feiner
ETHAN Phyllis L. Feiner, 64, Ethan, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, John Feiner, Ethan; three daughters, Kathryn Wosje, Chanhassen, Minn., Sharon Feiner, Minneapolis, and Sue Feiner, Mitchell; and one grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. scripture service, today at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ethan. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, at the church. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Myrna Coyle, Rapid City; two brothers, Eugene Coyle, Rapid City, and John Coyle, Philip; and two sisters, Dorothy Heidler, Faith, and Patty Shaffer, Englewood, Colo.

HIGHMORE Lillian B. Vlcek, 94, Highmore, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Highmore Health Care Center.
Survivors include one daughter, Tyna Moore, Seattle; two sons, John Vlcek, Rapid City, and Jerry Vlcek, Highmore; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Florence J. Wagner
PIERRE Florence J. Wagner, 84, Pierre, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Maryhouse Nursing Center in Pierre.
Survivors include two sons, Duane Wagner and Lavern Wagner, both of Pierre; one sister, Elsie Clark, Onida; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Wagner.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today at Feigum Funeral Home in Pierre. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Lutheran Memorial Church in Pierre. Burial will be at Onida Cemetery.

HOT SPRINGS Mary Horst, 97, Hot Springs, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Castle Manor in Hot Springs.
Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Landers, rural Hot Springs, and Deloris Raterman, Norfolk, Neb.
Arrangements are pending with Rooks-McColley Funeral Chapels in Hot Springs.
Leone A. Plooster
RAPID CITY Leone A. Plooster, 91, of Rapid City died on Friday, April 26, 2002, at a local nursing home.
Leone A. Plooster was born in Chaska, MN, on July 27, 1910. She was married to Antonio (Tony) Plooster on August 4, 1934.
Survivors include her two daughters, Yvonne Leonard of Armour, SD, and Mary Elder of Sioux City, IA; three sons, Anthony Plooster of Billings, MT, Harold Plooster of Rapid City, SD, and Jerry Plooster of Park City, UT; one sister, Marian Anderson of Armour, SD; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio (Tony), daughter, Sharlene Holback, and one brother, Herbert (Perry) Winkel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at St. Therese, The Little Flower Catholic Church, in Rapid City with Fr. Brian Lane as celebrant. Inurnment will be held at later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Hospice of the Hills.

Kirk Scott Magelky
KADOKA Kirk Scott Magelky, 29, Kadoka, died Friday, April 26, 2002, as a result of an accident on the family farm northwest of Kadoka.
Survivors include his parents, Gerard and Janet Magelky, Kadoka; one brother, Kipp Magelky, Kadoka; and his grandmother, Margaret Magelky, Dickinson, N.D.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, April 29, at Rush Funeral Chapel in Kadoka, and for one hour before services. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Kadoka City Auditorium, with the Rev. Jill Jackson officiating.
A memorial has been established.
George T. Ted' Martin
RAPID CITY George T. "Ted" Martin, Rapid City, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Beverly Health Care Nursing Home.
He served in the Army Reserve Signal Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Toni; two daughters, Patricia and Kay; one sister, Mae Griffin of California; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Private interment will be at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
