Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Survivors include his mother, Amy Ordahl, his father, Bruce Ordahl, both of Deadwood; one sister, Taylor Welling, Deadwood; and maternal grandparents.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the Ordahl-Young Family Cemetery
near Deadwood, with Deacon Tom Regan officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chaput Funeral Home in Deadwood.
Rose Gile Vinatieri
POST FALLS, Idaho - Rose Gile Vinatieri, 89, Post Falls, formerly of Yankton, S.D., died
Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at Life Care Nursing in Coeur D'Alene.
Survivors include her son, Paul Vinatieri of Rapid City.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at Kostel Funeral Home in Yankton, with a rosary at 7 p.m., followed by a scripture service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton, with the Rev. DeWayne Kayser officiating. Burial
will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Raymond Brandon Kopren
BLACK HAWK - Raymond Brandon Kopren, 1 month, died
Thursday, July 27, 2000, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include his parents, Wade M. Kopren and Krista M. Boelen, Black Hawk; one brother, Clayton Posch, Black Hawk; and grandparents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, at Osheim-Catron Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brian Lane officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services.
Burial
will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Boyd M. Potter
CUSTER - Boyd M. Potter, 70, Custer, died
Friday, July 28, 2000.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Potter, Custer; three sons, Dee Potter and Bret Potter, both of Huntington, Utah and Wayne Potter, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Stacy Christman, Huntington, and Jamie Peacock, Lawrence, Utah; one brother, Scott Potter, Richland, Wash.; one sister, Sonja Potter, McCall, Idaho; and 18 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
G. Leland Johnson
FORT PIERRE - G. Leland Johnson, 85, Fort Pierre and Montrose, died
Thursday, July 27, 2000, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.
G. Leland Johnson was born
Jan. 24, 1915, in McCook County. He attended schools in Montrose and Highmore and graduated from Montrose High School. He married
Oleta Baade in 1937. They lived on farms near Montrose, DeGrey, and later Pierre, all in South Dakota.
On Oct. 10, 1971, he married
Beverly Johnson in Oakes, N.D. They lived in Fort Pierre and Spearfish and in various towns in Wyoming while he was actively engaged in the construction business with his brother, Keith. He retired in 1983.
He loved music all his life and, in his later years, he and his wife, along with other people, entertained the senior citizens groups and nursing-home residents in the Pierre area. He enjoyed traveling, and he and his wife traveled to many different countries the world over. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and has many of his hunting trophies displayed in both his Fort Pierre and Montrose homes.
He was a member of United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Jesters, Pierre Elks and Pierre Senior Citizens. He served as president of Associated General Contractors of South Dakota and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American State Bank of Pierre. He was inducted into the Transporation Hall of Fame in 1984.
Survivors include his wife of Fort Pierre; five children, Sharon Kay Sauer, Hamel, Minn., G. Eugene Johnson, Spearfish, Dwight W. Johnson, Belle Fourche, Mary Ann Schmitz, Oakes, N.D., and Bruce K. Johnson, Gettysburg; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eldora Arndt, Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 31, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Montrose United Methodist Church. Burial
will be at Montrose Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at Kinzley Funeral Home, Salem. There will be a prayer service Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Pierre.
Theophil 'Ted' Zimmerman
SPEARFISH - Theophil "Ted" Zimmerman, 86, Spearfish and formerly of Belle Fourche, died
Friday, July 28, 2000, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia, Spearfish; one son, Larry Zimmerman, Spearfish; four daughters, Linda Boyd, Sioux Falls, Penny Harris, Cincinnati, Peggy Zimmerman, Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and Mary McGuigan, Spearfish; brother, William Zimmerman, Britton; four sisters, Christina Lowenstein, San Mato, Calif., Veronica Gisi, Aberdeen, Emma Janisch, Belride, Ill., and Anna Janisch, San Mato; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche, and one hour before the service at the church, which will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 31, at St. James Lutheran Church in Belle Fourche, with the Rev. Fred Hallstrom officiating.
Burial
will be at Black Hills National Cemetery
near Sturgis.
Louise Owens
PIERRE - Louise Owens, 90, of Pierre, died
Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Maryhouse Nursing Center.
Survivors include one son, Michael Owens, Onida; three daughters, Georgia Fry, Dallas, Texas, Barbara Sarboraria, Livermore, Calif., and Margaret "Peggy" Rath, Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Jane Briggs, Warrensburg, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Sunday, July 30, at Feigum Funeral Home in Pierre.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 31, at Maryhouse Chapel in Pierre. Burial
will follow at Riverside Cemetery
in Pierre.

Friday, July 28, 2000, at Westward Heights Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sons, Vincent Spilde, Lander, and Robert Spilde, Rapid City; one daughter, Shirley Kaiser, Lander; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 31, at the church. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Faith Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Tim Sersen officiating. Burial
will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Raymond G. (Ray) Stroh
MOBRIDGE - Raymond G. (Ray) Stroh, 68, Mobridge, died
Thursday, July 20, 2000, at Mobridge Regional Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Charmaine Wolfgram, Otsego, Minn., and Jolene Pannhorst, Englewood, Fla.; five brothers, Oliver Stroh, Minneapolis, Ronnie Stroh, Paul Stroh and Rodney Stroh, all of Selby, and Stanley Stroh, Spearfish; three sisters, Rose Neumiller, Rapid City, Sandra Nye, Anoka, Minn., and Nancy Litschewski, Belle Fourche; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Burial
will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, at Fort Snelling Veterans Cemetery
in Minneapolis.

Robert Blazek
RAPID CITY - Robert Blazek, 78, Rapid City, died
Sunday July 30, 2000, at his home.
Robert was born
in 1921 to Amil and Mary (Petrik) Blazek in Ravinia. He was raised on his parents' farm in the Ravinia area. He married
Betty Carpenter in 1941 and farmed until moving to Custer in 1951, where he worked for Tripet Machine Shop in plumbing and heating. In 1965, they moved to Rapid City, and Bob was employed at Ellsworth Air Force Base until his retirement in 1984.
Bob was a member of the Custer Fire Department and Custer Fire Department Band while in Custer. He was active in the Rapid City Moose Lodge, serving as Governor in 1979-1980, and was an active member of Minneluzahan Senior Center. He sang with the Minneluzahan Chorus and Golden Oldies group. Bob was an avid sportsman, passing on his skills to his son and grandsons. He also loved music and recalled fondly his days with the Jolly Coppersmiths dance band.
His wife, children and grandchildren are thankful they could share his life.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 59 years, Betty; two children, Janet and husband, Robert Judson, Pierre, and Paul Blazek and wife, Judy, Gillette, Wyo.; five grandsons, Terry Blazek and wife, Julie, Gillette, Scott Blazek and wife, Carrie, Gillette, Kurt Blazek and wife, Fabiola, Loveland, Colo., Ward Judson and wife, Heather, Streetsboro, Ohio, and Matt Judson and wife, Stephanie, Pierre; five great-grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan, Miranda, Alicia and Jeremy; one sister, Christina Carda, Wagner; sister-in-law, Vlasta Blazek, Wagner; and two nieces, Linda Youngbluth, Wagner and Lois Sherwood, Wood.
He was preceded in death
by his parents, Amil and Mary, one brother, Louis, and one sister, Albina.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Rooks & Kirk Funeral Home, 1051 E. Minnesota St. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 402 Kansas City St. in Rapid City, with the Rev. Donald Brendtro and Pastor Mike Bradley officiating. Burial
will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City.
The family requests memorials be directed to Hospice of the Hills.
Anne L. Sinclair
GREGORY - Anne Leora Hutchison Sinclair, 92, died
Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Rosebud Country Care Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Myrna Kucera, Boulder, Colo., Melba Stukel, Lucas, and Carol Robertson, Olney, Ill; one son, Ronald Sinclair, Gregory; one sister, Ada Sattler, Gregory; one brother, Demas Hutchison, Camas, Wash.; special grandson Brad; one great-great-grandchild; and many other grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Kotrba Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Union Congregational Church, with the Rev. Warner Mostad officiating. Burial
will be at IOOF Cemetery.
Jean T. Gordon
RAPID CITY - Jean T. Gordon, 66, Rapid City, died
Saturday, July 29, 2000, at a local nursing home.
Survivors include one son John W. Gordon IV, Rapid City; one daughter, Jean Root, Caputa; one sister, Elizabeth "Susie" N. Hall, Houston; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
