Charles Folk
Charles Folk, age 68, of Milbank died May 26th at his residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 30th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. Father Ken Lulf will officiate and burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday at the church, beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Friday, one hour prior to the Mass.
Music will be provided by Nancy Johnson, organist; the St. Lawrence Funeral Choir; and Larry Tietjen, vocalist. Honorary bearers will be members of the Whetstone Valley Two Cylinder Club. Casket bearers will be grandsons: Casey Rise, Josh Trapp, Brandon Folk, Andy Wall, Elliott Wohlleber, Matthew Wohlleber, and Rondel Irby.
Charles Steven Folk was born August 22, 1939, at Milbank, SD. He was the son of Stephen and Barbara (Giessinger) Folk. He attended rural school in Roberts County. He was united in marriage on April 23, 1960, with Joyce Reynen at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank.
Charles worked at Cargill Elevator and operated a tree trimming business. He worked at Cold Springs Granite Quarry, and later farmed with Hurley & Sons. Charles worked several years at the Twin Brooks Alfalfa Mill until it closed. He worked as a mechanic for Jurgens & Sons Implement until retiring.
Charles was a member of the Whetstone Valley Two Cylinder Club and enjoyed working on old tractors. He enjoyed woodworking and especially enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Cherishing his memory are his wife, Joyce of Milbank; three daughters: Sandy and husband Charles Trapp of Milbank; Tami and husband Bill Rise of Milbank; Carla and husband Scott Trapp of Milbank; three sons: Dean and wife Tami Folk of Montevideo, MN; Jason Folk and Misty Moser of Waverly, SD; Cory and wife Darla Folk of Big Stone City, SD; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ann Van Hout; three brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Bernard Linneman
Bernard Linneman, age 80, of Big Stone City died May 25th at the Ortonville Hospital. Services are pending.
Karen Giossi
Karen (Mrs. Jim) Giossi, age 49 of Milbank died May 25th at the Milbank Area Hospital - Avera Health.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. Father Ken Lulf will officiate and burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday at the church beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning, one hour prior to the Mass.
The readers will be Rev. Janine Rew-Werling and Rev. Craig Werling. Honorary bearers will be the Hospice Care Givers: Karen Hystad, Janis Baldwin, Diana Dirkson, Patty Aesoph, Loreen Hartman, and Vonnie Mueller. Casket bearers will be: Cory Giessinger, Dustin Jutting, Nathan Jutting, Ryan Spanton, Dakota Giossi, and Allen Giossi, Jr. Music will be provided by Nancy Johnson, organist, Jonathon Ydstie, vocalist (accompanied by Carol Ydstie) and the St. Lawrence Funeral Choir.
Karen Marie (Reyelts) Giossi was born June 21, 1958, in Milbank, SD. She was the daughter of Arnold and Marilyn (Lauseng) Reyelts. She attended school in Wilmot and moved to Milbank in 1976. She was united in marriage on July 23, 1977, with James Giossi at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. Karen worked various jobs and was most recently the custodian at American Lutheran Church and St. Lawrence School.
Karen Giossi is survived by her husband, Jim of Milbank; one daughter and son-in-law: Jessica and Scott Stengel of Milbank; one son, Joseph Giossi of Milbank; three grandchildren; her parents: Arnold and Marilyn Reyelts of Milbank; one brother: Kevin Reyelts of Milbank; two sisters: Karla Reyelts of Milbank and Kim and husband Mike Carlson of Slayton, MN.
Bill Vissers
Bill Vissers, age 78, of Milbank died May 14th at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas.
A memorial service will be held in July.
William Joseph Vissers was born December 14, 1929, in Milbank, SD. He was the son of John Peter and Helena (VandeVoort) Vissers. He attended rural school at Melrose #5 and Milbank High School. He was united in marriage on February 19, 1951, with Billie Barnes in Buffalo, WY.
Bill lived in Milwaukee, WI following his marriage, then moved to Milbank and has since resided. Bill worked as a welder while in Milwaukee, then was a quarryman in the Milbank area. He also worked as plumber then worked for the city of Milbank for 27 years. He and his wife enjoyed their winters in Texas and summers in South Dakota. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Bill Vissers is survived by his wife, Billie of Milbank; three daughters: Michelle Mertens of Milbank; Bonnie Pekron of Sioux Falls, SD; and Lori Vissers of Brookings, SD; three sons: Jim, Rick and wife Joleen and John and wife Michelle Vissers, all of Sioux Falls, SD; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; three sisters: Helena Hurley of Big Stone City; Nellie Smith of La Feria, TX; and Marie Sleeper of Oconomowoc, WI; and one brother, George Vissers of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Steven J. Durick
Steven Durick, age 59, of Big Stone City, died May 12th at the Milbank Area Hospital- Avera Health.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Tabor United Methodist Church in Big Stone City.
Rev. Beth Conrad will officiate and burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday at Mundwiler Funeral Home beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
Steven J. Durick was born June 9, 1948, at Lemmon, SD. He was the son of Leslie and Dora (Bjorndahl) Durick. He attended Lemmon Public Schools and graduated from Lemmon High School. He received an Associate Degree in diesel mechanics from North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He was united in marriage on December 19, 1970, with Joyce Payne, at the Bethesda Lutheran Church, rural Morristown, SD.
Steve worked for Mickelson Equipment in Aberdeen, SD for 18 years in Service and Sales. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church while in Aberdeen, serving on many committees and boards. While his sons were in elementary school, he volunteered to build playground equipment, helped with the scouting program and was very active in the hockey association. He was always willing to line up equipment for the many tasks it takes to keep programs going for our youth. He taught many farm safety classes over the years.
Case and IH merged in 1985, resulting in a move to Milbank, SD. Steve was in Service and Sales for Valley Farm Equipment until his death. Steve, Joyce and family belonged to the American Lutheran Church in Milbank. Steve served on the Milbank Fire Department for ten years. He also started a side business of Durick Fire Extinguishers and Service. In 1996, Steve and Joyce bought a home on Big Stone Lake. At that time they joined Tabor United Methodist Church in Big Stone City, SD.
Steve spent many hours volunteering at the Big Stone Legion. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, tractor pulling, and even ran a steam engine. Steve loved boating and teaching everyone to ski. In the last years, he taught his grandchildren to fish and enjoyed taking them for a spin by boat, 4-wheeler, pick-up, or scooter.
Cherishing his memory are his wife, Joyce; two sons: Scott of Battle Mountain, NV and Kent and wife Jamie of Milbank, SD; four grandchildren; three brothers: Mike and wife Sandy Durick of Pierre, SD; Don and wife Pat Durick of Lemmon, SD; Patrick and wife Sandra Durick of Rolla, MO; one sister, Nancy and husband Jim Maier of Elgin, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents.
John A. Mattison
John Mattison, age 61, of Big Stone City died May 5th at the Ortonville Hospital.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Tabor United Methodist Church in Big Stone City. Rev. Beth Conrad will officiate.
Visitation will be at the church, one hour prior to the service. Music will be provided by Pat Kunz, organist and Tim Mundwiler, vocalist.“Bootz”, John's dog, will be the honorary bearer. The readers will be Albert Mattison and Shelby Flegel.
John Alan Mattison was born March 9, 1947, in Hibbing, MN. He was the son of Albert John and Elsie (Sarkki) Mattison. He attended school in Hibbing.
John worked as a machinist and toolmaker for most of his career. He most recently was owner and manager of the Big Stone Motel, before retiring.
John was united in marriage on May 25, 2002, with Rebecca M. Lewellin at Henriette, MN. John was an avid motorist, enjoying vehicles and motorcycles of all kinds. He was a member of the Big Stone Cruisers Car Club and always had fun buying and selling vehicles. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
John Mattison is survived by his wife, Rebecca of Big Stone City, SD; three children: Ricke and wife Ruth Mattison of Mora, MN; Sara and husband Kurt Flegel of Benson, MN and Michael and wife Jessica Mattison of New Richland, MN; three step-sons: Troy and wife Joline Wimmer of Ortonville, MN; Travis and wife Jessica Lewellin of Grasston, MN; Lee Anderson of Pine City, MN; one brother, Michael and wife LuAnn Mattison of Webster, WI; 21 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elsie and his second wife, Janice (Kookie) Mattison.
Rosa Lynne Remund
Rosa Lynne (Mrs. Norman) Remund, age 68, of Wilmot passed away April 25th at the Milbank Area Hospital - Avera Health.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Wilmot Lutheran Church. Rev. Steve Moberg will officiate and burial will be in the Wilmot Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday at Mundwiler Faith Chapel, Wilmot, from 4 - 7 p.m. and continue at the church on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service. Rev. DeVern Schwenn will be the lector and a tribute will be given by Ronn McDaniel.
Music will be provided by Neoma Ballhagen, organist; Steve Wetrosky, vocalist Rachel Remund, vocalist and Brianna Wetrosky, vocalist.
Honorary bearers will be her grandchildren. Casket bearers will be nephews: Dan Remund, Bill Lewis, Jim Lewis, Mike Hines, Mark Hines, Dennis Sweeney, and Dennis Harstad.
Rosa Lynne (Hines) Remund was born February 15, 1940, in Wilmot, SD. She was the daughter of Harold and Ruby (Barlund) Hines. As a young child she lived briefly in Morris, MN and Ortonville, MN; and then was a life long resident of the Wilmot area. She was united in marriage on September 21, 1958, at Wilmot Lutheran Church with Norman C. Remund.
Rosa and Norman lived on the family farm near Wilmot. She was a stay at home mother and homemaker until the last of her five children were established in school, then began her second career as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Rosa worked 19 years in nursing homes in Wilmot and Browns Valley, MN , caring for residents she so dearly loved. She was a member of the Wilmot Lutheran Church, WELCA, enjoyed singing and was active with the ladies aid and church quilting. She was a member of the Wilmot Care Center Auxiliary, Sewing Club, and a Runner's Club Member.
Rosa enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, mowing the lawn, watching Twins baseball games, and especially enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The greatest joy in her life was her children and their families. She loved and cherished each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren without reservation, as she would spend time at the cancer center receiving chemo and still hurry to get to a school activity such as ball games, musical events, birthday parties, or whatever her family was involved in.
Rosa Lynne Remund is survived by her husband, Norman of Wilmot; her mother Mrs. Ruby Hines of Wilmot; five children: Charles and wife Mary Remund of Elkton, SD; Kimberly and husband Ronn McDaniel of Wilmot; Barbara and husband Steve Wetrosky of Brandon, SD; John and wife Melissa Remund of Wilmot; and James and wife Natalie Remund of Wilmot; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, one brother: Kelly and wife Beth Hines of Faribault, MN and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, one sister-in-law, and one great grandson.
Alma Hagen
Alma Hagen, age 104, of Milbank died April 20th at Park Place in Milbank.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 24th at 2:00 p.m. at American Lutheran Church in Milbank. Rev. Craig Werling will officiate and burial will be in the LaBolt Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
Music will be provided by Carol Ydstie, organist and a vocal trio: Shirley Thorson, Howard LaMee, and Ruth Modin, accompanied by Elaine Hallberg. Casket bearers will be: John Syrstad, Justin Syrstad, Steve Schull, Tom Peschong, Matt Schull, and Noah Anderson.
Alma Hagen was born July 7, 1903, in Adams Township, Grant County, SD. She was the daughter of John and Anna (Torgerson) Syrstad. She attended rural school in Adams Township and in Revillo. She was united in marriage on August 27, 1924, in Madison, MN with Austin Hagen.
Following marriage, Alma and her husband lived in Madison, MN and in Watertown, SD. They moved to Wheaton, MN and lived there for 40 years. They returned to LaBolt, SD. Austin passed away in 1979, and Alma moved to Milbank in 1983.She moved to Park Place Assisted Living in 2006.
Alma was considered to be a wonderful cook, known for her lemon meringue pie and homemade donuts.
Alma Hagen is survived by nieces and nephews: Betty Schull of Milbank, SD; Joyce Peschong of Milbank, SD; Beverly Syrstad of Milbank, SD; Norbert Syrstad of Revillo, SD; Shirley Gabert of Watertown, SD; Dona Chambers of Svea, MN; Sharon Weaver of New Underwood, SD; Roger Syrstad of Glenwood, MN; Carol Smith of Oregon; Sonny Syrstad of Cresent City, CA; and Adeline Schull of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Josephine Krook; two brothers: Melvin and Leonard Syrstad, special friend, Clarence Glomstad, nephew Harvey Cook and niece, Evelyn Duncan.
Catherine Fitzpatrick
Catherine M. Fitzpatrick, 48, of Clear Lake, SD and formerly of Milbank died April 19th at her residence in Clear Lake.
Funeral services were Friday, April 25th at 3:00 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home. Father Matthew was the officiant.
Visitation was Friday, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Honorary bearers were: Chad Swihart and Aaron Zahn.
Catherine Michelle Fitzpatrick was born August 21, 1959, in Pueblo, CO. She was the daughter of Miles and Mildred (Cowan) Schwartz. She attended school in Rapid City, SD and received her nursing certificate in Anoka, MN.
Catherine loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed scrap booking and making crafts. She enjoyed attending their tae kwon do tournaments and watching her son, John’s fire department water fights.
Catherine Fitzpatrick is survived by a dear friend, Rodney Brungardt of Clear Lake, one daughter, Stacy and husband Chris Schmidt of Milbank; one son, John Hynnek and friend Amanda Pansch of Ortonville, MN; three grandchildren: Kasey, Trevor, and Marisa; her father, Miles Schwartz of St. Louis, MO; and one brother, Robert Doran of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Roy R. Whiting
Roy Whiting, age 55, of New Milford, PA, formerly of Milbank died April 17thin Moriarty, New Mexico.
Family will greet friends with an open house beginning at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22nd and a memorial service at 4 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home. Tom Hartman will conduct the service.
Roy R. Whiting was born September 11, 1952, in Ortonville, MN. He was the son of Ralph J. and Hildegard (Ehlebracht) Whiting. He attended school in Milbank and graduated from Milbank High School in 1970.Roy was united in marriage on February 7, 1970, with Mary Jo Van Ray.
Roy worked at Community Oil Company in Milbank, first working at the station, then driving bulk truck. He worked at Dakota Granite and later at NED, New England Diamond Corp. in Milbank. He and Mary Jo moved to Pennsylvania in 2005.
Roy and Mary Jo were blessed with three sons, and were delighted and proud of their seven grandchildren. Roy loved the outdoors and all activities associated with it.
Cherishing his memory are his wife, Mary Jo of New Milford, PA; three sons: Anthony and wife Lisa Whiting of McGuire Air Force Base, NJ; Andrew and wife Anisia Whiting of Mesa, AZ; and Adam and wife Stacey Whiting of Watertown, SD; seven grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Eva Van Ray of Milbank; seven brothers and sisters: Lucille Whiting of Milbank; Luella and husband Delmer Laskowske of Milbank; Lois and husband Dennis Unzicker of Milbank; Loretta and husband Myron Maass of Watertown, SD; Ralph and wife Sandy Whiting of San Antonio, TX; Linda and husband Gary Rethke of Milbank; Roger Whiting and friend Sandy Voels of Maurice, IA and brother-in-law, Dale Dornbusch of Milbank.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lila Dornbusch.
Jim Mundwiler
Jim Mundwiler, 84, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died April 13th at St. William's Care Center in Milbank.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. at American Lutheran Church in Milbank. Rev. Craig Werling and Rev. Janine Rew-Werling will officiate. Burial will be in the Milbank Cemetery.
Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Birch-Miller Post #9 and the VFW Grant County Post #3486.
Visitation will be Saturday at Mundwiler Faith Chapel in Wilmot from 4 – 7 p.m.; Sunday at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank from 1 – 7 p.m. and continue at the church on Monday, one hour prior to the service.
Music will be provided by Linda Stengel, organist, Ray Ogdahl, vocalist, and Father Dana Christensen, vocalist. Casket bearers will be: Tim Mundwiler, Calvin Brown, Dr. Fred Schofield, F.J. Schofield, Paxton Schofield, and Scott Brown.
James Edward Mundwiler was born April 3, 1924, in Los Angeles, CA. He was the son of Orrie C. and Ruby L. (Wilkinson) Mundwiler. Jim lived with his parents on the Mundwiler family farm at Pleasant Valley, MN, a settlement northeast of Ortonville, MN. He moved with his parents to Milbank, SD in 1928, establishing Mundwiler Funeral Home.
As a young man, Jim earned the Eagle Scout Award and was a recipient of the coveted Silver Beaver Medal from the Boy Scouts of America. Jim attended school in Milbank, graduating in 1942.He faithfully served the United States Army during WWII, in the Medical Corps and also during the Korean Conflict. He attended the University of Maryland for one year during his military duty. Jim was united in marriage on February 7, 1945, with Dorothy H. Green in Okmulgee, OK. Following Jim’s military discharge, they moved to Milbank in 1946. Jim graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Mortuary Science in 1947, and in 1950, moved to Lidgerwood, ND and worked for the Walby Funeral Home. Jim was recalled into active duty during the Korean Conflict and moved to Ft. Carson, CO. Following the Korean Conflict, they moved to Montana and Jim worked as a casket salesman for the Minnesota Casket Company. Jim and Dottie returned to Milbank in 1952, and assumed ownership of Mundwiler Funeral Home and Ambulance Service. Jim’s father, Orrie died in 1953, and Jim and Dottie assumed ownership of the Mundwiler Furniture Store. They later sold the furniture store to Oscar and Anne Torness.
Jim was a member of the first E.M.T. class that was offered at the University of South Dakota. He taught many classes of American Red Cross First Aid and CPR classes. He was active with Grant County 4-H for many years. He was the Grant County Veteran’s Service Officer for 28 years.
Jim was proud to have been a member of the first mission team sent to Sierre Leone, Africa to help build the Kissy Eye Clinic.He returned to Africa two more times and continued a life long support of the work of Dr. Lowell Gess.
His memory will be cherished by his wife, Dottie; three children: Peggy and husband Calvin Brown of Red Oak, IA; Susan and husband Dr. Fred Schofield of Glendale, AZ; Tim and wife Tana Mundwiler of Milbank, SD; seven grandchildren, one niece, Karen and husband Jim Casale of Anoka, MN and one cousin, Tom and wife Marilyn Murray of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mary Ellen Schuelke, and one grandson, Michael Brown.
Elaine Koenen
Elaine (Mrs. Gerald) Koenen, age 61, of Ortonville died April 8th at the Ortonville Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 12th at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Ortonville. Father Robert Goblirsch will officiate and burial will be in the Mound Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday at the church beginning at 4:30 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday morning, one hour prior to the Mass.
Music will be provided by Pat Kunz, organist and the St. John's Choir. Casket bearers will be: Tom Dew, Glendon Caron, Nick Reinke, Rick Reinke, Wade Houg, and Paul Hicks.
Elaine Mae (Reinke) was born May 19, 1946, in Ortonville, MN. She was the daughter of John H. and Esther (Johnson) Reinke. She graduated from Ortonville High School in 1964. Following graduation, she went to Minneapolis, MN and worked for Sears and Roebuck, at their Lake Street store. She returned to Ortonville in 1965. In 1966, she was confirmed into the Catholic Faith, and that same year, was united in marriage with Gerald Koenen. They lived the first two years of their life together in Big Stone City, SD. They moved to Ortonville in 1968. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Kristine, Martin, and Steven.
Elaine was extremely proud of her four grandchildren, Megan, Logan, Alayna Stenzel, and Jack Koenen. She loved the time she got to spend with all of them. She was always ready to tell all about them to anyone who would listen.
She worked at various places throughout her life. She worked for many years at Auchstetter Drug Store in Ortonville, and later at Liebe Drug Store. She stayed at home and raised their three children. When the children were grown, she went back to work, this time at Monarch Heights, a group home in Ortonville. She worked there until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2000.
Elaine loved her church, and was very active in it. She taught Religion classes as well as Confirmation classes. She was also an active member of St. John's Altar Society. She served the church as a lector for many years until she was no longer able to do so. She also participated in a Bible study group at the Highrise Apartments in Ortonville. She served as the group leader whenever the regular leader could not be there.
Elaine was active in the community. She was a charter member of the Guard Wives, and served as the first President of this group. That year she was also voted the "Guard Wife of the Year." She served as a Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother.
She was a very gifted crafter. She was extremely gifted with her hands and could make just about anything. She was a good baker as well, and cakes were her specialty. She not only baked them but decorated them. We will sure miss those cakes!
She was an excellent seamstress, and even made her daughter's wedding dress. When her youngest granddaughter made her First Communion, Elaine crocheted her shawl. Her skills were endless, as was her love for doing something for others. She had a love as well as knowledge for all sports. She always said, "When you have six brothers, you had to play the games." She not only played them, but she knew the rules and strategies for them all.
Elaine lost her courageous battle to cancer on April 8, 2008. She was a hero to all who knew her because of the way she fought. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her because of the way she fought.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald of Ortonville, MN; one daughter, Kristine Hanish of Alexandria, MN; two sons: Martin Koenen of Phoenix, AZ and Steven Koenen of Litchfield, MN; four grandchildren: Megan, Logan, Alayna Stenzel, and Jack Koenen; one sister, Lorrayne Smith of Atlanta, GA; three brothers: Willard Reinke and Mel Reinke, both of Ortonville, MN; and Allen Reinke of Cedar Rapids, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Esther Reinke, and three brothers: Raymond, Leonard, and Murlin Reinke.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Big Stone County Walk of Hope or to the Rice Hospice Program, in care of the Ortonville Hospital.
Richard Arnold Knebel
Richard A. Knebel, age 92, of Milbank, formerly of New Effington, SD passed away on April 5th at the Milbank Area Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 9th at 10:00 a.m., at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. Father Ken Lulf will officiate and the burial will be in the New Effington Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Mundwiler Funeral Home on Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a scripture and rosary service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday, one hour prior to the Mass.
Music will be provided by Nancy Johnson, organist and the St. Lawrence Funeral Choir. Casket bearers will be: Konnie Bremmon, Lori Richardt, Troy Graham, Nick Knebel, Jay Ross, and Phillip Swann. Honorary bearers will be Richard’s grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
