GREENVILLE — Tracy Lyn Rushton and Thomas Claiborne Mardre III, both of Greenville, were married at 6 p.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church.
Father Robert Daniels of Greenville officiated.
Wedding music was presented by organist John Ezra Gilbert, trumpeter Daniel Lee Kirsop, and bagpipes by Allen Alexander Geiger Jr., all of Greenville, and vocalist Shawna Michelle Culler of Charlotte, N.C.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo William McClain of Chappells and Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas (Bud) Rushton Jr. of Greenwood.
She is a 1999 graduate of the University of South Carolina.
She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and is a marketing sales representative for the S.C. Education Lottery.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Claiborne Mardre Jr. of Greenville.
He attended the College of Charleston and is a commercial sales representative for Consolidated Tires.
Stephanie Ann Houser of Greenville was maid of honor.
Carla Webster Hughey of Charleston was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Anne Nolen Howard, Stephanie Lynn Havird and Elizabeth Harrison Ferguson, all of Columbia; Natalie Gay Human, Anne Christian Mardre and Elizabeth Turner Mardre, all of Greenville; and Skye Wilson Mitchell of Savannah, Ga.
Honorary attendants were Lynn Bonneau Griffin and Mary Hunter Murphy, both of Pawleys, and Kelsey Joyce McClain of Lagrange, Ga. Grace Lorraine Cappelmann of Isle of Palms was flower girl.
The bride wore a white silk satin gown, featuring a strapless bodice with a low back, accented with white, silver and ivory embroidery and a dropped waistline.
The full ballgown skirt was accented with box pleats starting at the waist and was adorned with a large applique of embroidery complementing the bodice.
The train was chapel length.
She wore a pearl and Swarovski crystal tiara attached to a double-tiered veil of white illusion, which was scattered with rhinestones.
The second tier fell past the train.
Attendants wore two piece, claret satin gowns.
The bodices were accented with beaded trim at the strapless necklines and dropped waists.
The bridegroom’s father was best man.
Groomsmen were William Innes Bouton, Edward Paul Holder III and James William Dennis, all of Columbia; Robert Whitley Wilkins and Ross Turner Gildewell, both of Greenville; Robert Evans Bouton of Atlanta; Eldridge Ned Stafford III of Charlotte, N.C., and Daniel Nathan Hughey of Charleston.
A reception was at the Greenville Country Club.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Greenville.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Kenneth Ray Brock and Yvonne Brock, both of Chappells.
She is a 1999 graduate of Ninety Six High School and a 2002 graduate of Lander University, where she received a degree in business administration, with an emphasis on healthcare management.
She is employed by The Outpatient Surgery Center.
The bridegroom is the son of Ernest M. Turner and Carol Turner, both of Ninety Six.
He is a 1999 graduate of Ninety Six High School and is employed by Fuji Photo Film Inc.

The bride wore a matte satin dress featuring a scoop neckline trimmed in pearls.
The embroidered empire bodice was embellished with beading and had short tulip sleeves.
The princess-line satin skirt was accented with a beaded embroidery border and a semi-cathedral train.
She wore a short length, sheer veil scattered with pearls and carried a wildflower bouquet.
Ernest M. Turner of Ninety Six was best man.
The bride’s parents were hosts of a reception in Chappells.
The couple will live in Ninety Six.
