The bridegroom-elect is the son of Beatrice Johnson of Laurens and the late Walter Henry. He is a graduate of Laurens District 55 High School and is employed at Box USA.
The couple plans a wedding trip to Lake Allatoona and will live in Laurens.
The wedding is planned for 1 p.m. Oct. 13, 2002 at Duncan Creek Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited.

Daphene Tolson-Wrenn announces the engagement of her brother, Raymond Byerly Tolson of Greenwood, to Tina Hastings Lowe of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry and Betty Morrow of Hodges. She is a graduate of Greenwood public schools, Lander University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and of the University of South Carolina, where she received a master’s degree in social work. She is employed by the Emerald Center-DSN as an early intervention supervisor.
The bridegroom-elect is the son the late James Roachel Tolson and Pauline Gainey Tolson. He attended public schools in Greenwood and in Ft. Pierce, Fla., and served in the U.S. Army. He is employed by Buck Stove and Pool as a service technician.
The wedding is planned for 7 p.m. Oct. 25, 2002 at The Coffee and Dessert Co.

Stacie Lynn Dennin of Greenwood and Gerald Wayne Stover Jr. of Columbia were married at 6 p.m. Saturday at The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. The Rev. Peter W. Hawes of Greenwood officiated.
Wedding music was presented by violinists Jessica Williams and Ruth Pilgrim, and organist Donna Brooks.
The bride is the daughter of Sandra Ann Gourley of Rock Hill and Randy J. Dennin of Greenwood. She is the granddaughter of Frances and Anna Wisbrock, John and Ardath Dennin Turner and Lec Turner. She is a 1995 graduate of Greenwood High School and a graduate of The University of South Carolina, where she received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is employed by Diane’s on Devine and The Impact Group.
The bridegroom is the son of Linda Gardner Stover and Gerald Stover of Columbia. He is the grandson of Richard and Catherine Gardner and George and Ruth Stover. He is a 1993 graduate of Irmo High School and The University of South Carolina, where he received a bachelor’s degree in English. He is self employed as a construction contractor and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in art studio at USC.
Tammy Langley of Greenwood, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor.
Miranda Dennin of Greenwood, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Monica Carillo of Charlotte, Carolyn Clarke of Charleston, Susan Davis of Columbia, Lisa Paul of Charleston and Christina Langley of Greenwood, the bride’s niece.
Junior bridesmaids were Andrea Langley, Courtney Dennin and Kayla Dennin, the bride’s nieces of Greenwood.
The bride wore a floor length gown of imported silk featuring a sleeveless Sabrina neckline. The basque body was made of Alencon lace. The dropped waist was encrusted with seed pearls and a jewel motif. The full skirt was swept into a majestic semi-cathedral train.
She wore a headpiece of pearls, rhinestones and crystal beading attached to a hand-made Belgian lace veil adorned with seed pearls, featuring a scalloped edge.
She carried a semi-cascade of ivory Virginia roses, California bridal roses, Veronica and hypericum berries.
Attendants wore floor length dresses of red duiponi silk, each styled by the attendants’ themselves.
The junior bridesmaids wore floor length dresses of red duiponi silk featuring a full skirt and sweeping train. Attendants carried hand-tied European bouquets of golden yarrow, yellow button chrysanthemums, fuschia stock, millet, celosia, orange Gerbras, ruby red roses, moreno roses and hypericum berries.
Junior bridesmaids carried French kissing balls made of the same flowers.
The bridegroom’s father was best man.
Groomsmen were Raja Bala of Atlanta, Andy Flanagan of Columbia, Chris Gardner of Pocatello, Idaho, Kelby Hutchinson of Charleston, Kevin O’Mellan of Atlanta and Craig Stover of Columbia, the bridegroom’s brother.
Junior groomsmen were Ashley Dennin, the bride’s nephew and Brandon Dennin, the bride’s brother, both of Greenwood.
Ushers were Eric Dennin of Columbia, Troy Dennin and Joel Dennin, both of Greenwood, all brothers of the bride, and Michael Dennin of Chicago, the bride’s cousin.
Randy and Denise Dennin were hosts of a reception at The Gatewood Club.
The couple plans a wedding trip to India in January, and will live in Columbia.

BELTON — Pete and Peg Wilson of Donalds announce the engagement of their daughter, Carla Renee Wilson of Donalds to Jeffrey Glen Billings of Greenville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Dixie High School and Erskine College. She is employed by Belton Elementary School.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lawrence Dozier Jr. of Greenwood. He is a cum laude graduate of Furman University and a graduate of The Medical University of South Carolina, where he received a doctorate in medicine. He is practicing internal medicine with the Florence Diagnostic Associates.
The wedding is planned for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14, 2002 at Saint Luke’s Chapel in Charleston.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Malcolm Lawson and Anna Merle Lawson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Moore. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. She is employed by KOSA of Spartanburg.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Howard Goodwin Jr. of Greenwood, S.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Yoh and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Howard Goodwin of North Palm Beach, Fla. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in recreation and park management. He is employed by the S.C. State Park Service at Croft State Park in Spartanburg.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 14, 2002 at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church.

Wedding music was presented by organist Sue Ross and soloist Fran Hylton.
The bride is the daughter of Tommy P. and Clara D. Riley. She is the granddaughter of the late Eugene P. and Pearl F. Riley and the late Clinton T. and Carrie S. Davis.
The bridegroom is the son of Richard and Kathleen Iacono of Middlesex, N.J. He is the grandson of John and Virginia O’Shaughnessy of Wheeling, W.Va., and the late Joseph and Annette Iacono.
Tricia Jones Crouch was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Farrah Jones Leaphart, Christy Lynn Derrick, Marisa Anne Kaufman, Katherine Kerry Iacono, the bridegroom’s sister, and Tyese Breanne Riley, the bride’s niece.
Honorary attendants were Lisa Asbill Riley, Kimberly Brewer Riley, Dana Isbell Riley, the bride’s sister-in-laws, and Jessica Lee Briggs.
Cameron Claire Riley, the bride’s niece, was flower girl.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Christopher John Yarashas, the bridegroom’s cousin, was best man.
Groomsmen were James Earl Thompson, Timothy Perry Riley, Michael Kevin Riley and Anthony Craig Riley, brothers of the bride, and Tyler Douglas Reichert, the bridegroom’s cousin.
Tyler Phoenix Riley, the bride’s nephew was ringbearer.
Honorary groomsmen were George Michael Manicone, Hillery John Broadous and Michael Alan Brown.
After a wedding trip to Disney World and the Bahama Islands, the couple now lives in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Wedding music was presented by Alvin Bell of McCormick.
The bride is the daughter of Jenniel Carter of Hodges and Robert L. Carter of Piedmont. She is a 1991 graduate of Greenwood High School.
The bridegroom is the son of Simon and Magalene Dunlap of Greenwood. He is a 1988 graduate of Greenwood High School.
Renee Paul of Abbeville and Denise Holloway of Greenwood were maids of honor.
Veronica Neal of Ware Shoals and Fredericka Briggs of Greenwood were matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids were Crystal Norman, Kimberly Calhoun, Mary Williams, LaShondra Smith, Latonya Butler, Crystal Robinson and Carla Williams, all of Greenwood, and Yvonda Thomas of Lawrenceville, Ga.
Junior bridesmaid was Shandricia Watts.
Anniestagia Harrison and Kiara Timpson, both of Greenwood, were flower girls.
The bride wore a ivory wedding gown featuring a beaded Alencon lace bodice, portrait collar, off-the-shoulder neckline and illusion lace long sleeves. The Basque waistline topped the full, tulle ball skirt, which featured scattered lace appliques. The hem of the skirt was bordered in lace and satin edging, and featured a semi-cathedral length train with a waterfall bow accenting the back.
She wore a pearl-drop and rhinestone tiara attached to an elbow length, white tulle veil accented with scattered pearls.
The maids and matrons of honor wore long mock two-piece gowns in celadon featuring halter tops and beading accenting the bodice. They completed their look with matching shawls.
The bridesmaids wore long mock two-piece satin A-line gowns in celadon, featuring halter tops and beading detail. They also completed their look with matching shawls.
The junior bride wore an ivory satin, full length gown with a tulle skirt. The skirt was accented with beaded Schiffli appliques, long illusion lace sleeves and a detachable train of tulle.
Best men were Tony Boggs of Donalds, Walter Donald of Hodges and Reggie Smith and Terrance Dunlap, both of Greenwood.
Groomsmen were Derrick Blocker, Gary Holloway, Marlo Dunlap, Kenneth Dunlap, Precious Dunlap and Lonnie Partlow, all of Greenwood, Derrick Thomas of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Marcus Tolbert of Houston, Texas.
Junior groomsman was Demarcus Dunlap.
Ushers were Benjamin Calhoun of Enoree and Brian Calhoun, Alvin Dunlap and Eddie Harrison, all of Greenwood. Shyon Donald of Hodges was ring bearer.
Datarious Barr of Greenwood was bell ringer.
Kelsey Dunlap and LaKavin Dunlap, both of Greenwood, were candle lighters.
Bareko Johnson of Ninety Six was carpet roller.
A reception was given at Greenwood High School by the bride’s parents.
The couple will live in Hodges.

Wedding music was presented by trumpeter John Cooper, organist Al Gambrell, violinist Cynthia Adams, pianist Leigh Gambrell and vocalist Becky Summerel, all of Greenwood.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Brooks Vines of Ninety Six. She is a 1997 graduate of Ninety Six High School and a 2002 graduate of Clemson University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She was presented at the 1998 Danse de Noel Assembly and is employed by Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
The bridegroom is the son of Laraine Somaini and Mike Somaini of Moore. He is a 1996 graduate of Dorman High School, a 2000 graduate of Clemson University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in health science. He is employed by Volunteer Medical Corporation.
Tammie Jeanette Fortner of Ninety Six was maid of honor.
Leslie MacTaggart Myers of Greenwood was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Katherine Blair McDowell, Frances LeeAnn Wood and Emily Nicole Mack, all of Ninety Six, Candace Covington Culler of Orangeburg, Michelle Somaini Coleman of Acworth, Ga., Katie McGinnis Davenport of Greenwood and Jennifer Rachel Winburn of McBee.
Tatun Faith Coleman and Sydney Laraine Coleman, both of Acworth, were flower girls.
The bride wore a gown of white silk satin featuring a strapless sweet heart neckline and hand embroidered crystals and sequins. The box-pleated skirt flowed into a chapel length train.
She wore a tiara of small crystal flowers interspersed with pearls and rhinestones attached to a semi-cathedral length veil.
Attendants wore floor length gowns of Victorian lilac in satin, featuring spaghetti straps and a beaded waist line.
Brent Justin Coleman of Acworth was best man.
Groomsmen were Michael David Straup and Jonathan Michael Potter, both of Roebuck, John David Strait III of Portland, Texas, Jason Dexter Holloman of Decatur, Ga., Matthew Adam Terry of Atlanta, Brian Phillip Fortner of Ninety Six, William Brunson Depass III of Columbia and Jeffery Milton Seigler of Anderson.
Elliott Preston Layne of Greenwood was ringbearer.
The bride’s parents were hosts of a reception at the Greenwood Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the couple will live in Spartanburg.

Wedding music was presented by organist Ruth A. Sharpe of Cross Hill and soloist Claire Walker of Mountville.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Whiteford of Waterloo. She is attending Lander University and is employed by Greenwood School District 50 at East End Elementary.
The bridegroom is the son of Sharon B. Heape of Columbia and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Gantt of Greenville. He is a graduate of Greenville Technical College and is employed by Greenwood School District 50 as an automotive technical instructor at the Greenwood County Career Center.
Carrie J. Whiteford of Waterloo, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Christy L. Demez of Clinton and Sharon Livingston of Greenwood.
Brooke Alberson of Fountain Inn was flower girl.
The bride wore a gown with spaghetti straps and a corseted body with Alencon lace and appliques. It featured a twelve layered tulle skirt accented with pearls and a semi-cathedral length train.
She wore a tiara of pearls and rhinestones attached to a double layered veil. The top veil was semi-cathedral length and was accented with pearls matching the train of the gown.
She carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies, pink roses, red roses, iris and white roses.
Attendants wore satin, floor length gowns in periwinkle. They completed their look with organza wraps.
They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Mark Einhorn of Mauldin was best man.
Groomsmen were Windy Porter of Columbia and Jerry Chapman of Simpsonville.
Ushers were Justin Alexander of Cross Hill and Blake Nicholson of Fountain Inn.
Zack Campbell of Abbeville was ringbearer.
An outdoor reception was given on the church grounds by the bride’s parents.
After a wedding trip to Charleston, the couple will live in Cross Hill.
