AUGUSTA, Ga. — Services for Derek Michael Scott, 13, of Picquet Avenue, will be at 2 Saturday at Williams Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Tom Herndon. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.

SALUDA — Cassie Stevens passed away July 5, 2000, at Beasley Home for the Aged in Laurens.
Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late George and Emma Stevens. She attended Saluda public schools and was a former member of Lockhart Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sisters, Laura Werts of Philadelphia, Twedie Weaver and Emily Miles, both of Columbia and Emma B. Carroll and Ethel Green, both of Saluda.
Services will be at 2 Saturday at Logan Funeral Home, with burial in Lockhart Baptist Church Cemetery.

MIAMI — Services for Lula Mae Tynes will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church, Greenwood, S.C., conducted by Dr. Willie S. Harrison. Burial will be in Evening Star Memorial Gardens, Greenwood. The body will be placed in the church at 10.
Pallbearers and flower bearers are friends of the family.

Harold West
GREENWOOD — John Harold West, 80, of 110 Lyman St., husband of Bernice Higginbotham West, passed away July 6, 2000, at his home.
Born in Jefferson, Ga., he was a son of the late John Alvin and Emma Hyde West. He retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, and was a member of Greenwood Mills Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church, the Men’s Bible Class of the church, a former Sunday school teacher and RA leader, and a former member of the church choir.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Judy) Gantt of Greenwood; a son, Charles H. West of Belton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 Saturday at Blyth Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Leland Scott. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Dewey McClain, James Dove, John Aikens, Doug Shannon, Billy Ray Spivey, J.D. Smith, J.W. Walker and Darrell Evans.

TAYLORS — Clifford Calvin Cantrell, 84, of 1 Wansley St., widower of Lula Mildred Foster Cantrell, passed away June 10, 2000.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Calvin and Maggie Hightower Cantrell. He was a self-employed logger and a member of Milford Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail C. Williams of Greenwood and Carolyn C. Bland of Hendersonville, N.C.; a son, William G. Cantrell of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Mozell C. Lark of Taylors; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. today at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Tom Burke. Burial was in Milford Baptist Church Cemetery.

David Davis
BATESBURG — David Davis, 70, of Route 3, widower of Gladys “Tincey” McCormick Davis, passed away June 10, 2000.
Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Jim and Frances Preston Davis. He retired from the S.C. Department of Transportation.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Davis of Leesville; a daughter, Rosa Lee Fulmer of Saluda; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at Clyde’s Chapel Southern Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Fletcher Rawls. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Alewine, Raymond Davis, Rusty Amick, Caleb Fulmer, Mike Fulmer and Dean Fulmer.
Honorary pallbearer was Zachary Fulmer.

BATH — Betty Jean Green Foster, 57, wife of Robert Foster, passed away June 11, 2000.
Born in Warrenville, she was a daughter of Clara Eslinger Green.
Survivors include her husband of Bath; her mother of Warrenville; four sons, Steven Foster of Williamston, Michael Foster of Bath, David Castle of Clarks Hill and Tony Castle of Warrenville; a daughter, Melissa Harris of Aiken; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 Wednesday at Hatcher Funeral Home of Langley, with burial in Warrenville Cemetery.

CALHOUN FALLS — Margaret Davis Manning, 88, of 5083 Highway 14, Laurens, formerly of 330 Tugaloo St., Calhoun Falls, passed away June 10, 2000, at Laurens County Hospital.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Edward and Cora Lee Martin Davis and the widow of Marshall Hill Manning. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Calhoun Falls United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie Manning of Laurens and Dr. M. Lee Manning of Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 3 Wednesday at Calhoun Falls Funeral Home, conducted by the Revs. Michael Joe Harvell, James Rephart and Steve Rice. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Greenwood.

WATERLOO — Sally “Tootsie” Wyatt Nichols, 80, formerly of Lois Lane, passed away June 11, 2000, at Magnolia Manor of Asheville, N.C.
Born in Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Fannie McCrite Rogers Bradley and Johnny F. Rogers Sr. She was a retired employee of Camp Croft Textile and a member of Glendale Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth “Patsy” Wyatt Smith of Waterloo; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Beginnings Baptist Church, Waterloo. Private graveside services will be at Thomas Chapel Baptist Church, Clifton, at a later date.
The family is at the home of her daughter, 111 Lois Lane, Waterloo.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late James Rufus and Maxie Quillen Lambert.
Survivors include three sons, Patrick T. Pasco of Lexington and James R. Pasco and Michael N. Pasco, both of Bluffton; a brother, James “Pee Wee” Lambert of Pacolet; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 Wednesday at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, with burial in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
