James M. Coleman
CLINTON — James M. “Skinny” Coleman, 67, of 103 Hazel Drive, widower of Wilma Coleman, passed away Aug. 5, 2000.
Born in Clinton, he was a son of the late James Madison and Addie B. Davis Coleman, He was an Army veteran, a member of Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired employee of The Torrington Co.
Survivors include two sons, James Walter Coleman and Joe Ransom Coleman, both of Clinton; two daughters, Gloria Patton of Hartwell, Ga., and Ann Edwards of Waterloo; two sisters, Ann Bagwell of Laurens and Peggy Jordan of Greenwood; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 today at Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.

Randall Duvall
HONEA PATH — Randall Lee Duvall, 43, of 109 Gunnells Road, passed away Aug. 5, 2000, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of Lee and Joyce Fields Duvall. He was an employee of Michelin of Greenville, a member of Centre Lodge 37, and a graduate of Ware Shoals High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Duvall of Anderson, his parents of Newberry; and two sisters, Dollie Williamson of Newberry and Rital Poeppel of Plymouth, Ind.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Honea Path First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Mike Moody. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories.
Visitation is from 7-9 tonight at Pruitt Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of Crystal Duvall, 311 Whitehall Road, Anderson.

DONALDS — Services for Margaret Theresa Jackson Hawthorne, of 427 Mount Lebanon Road, will be at 3 Wednesday at Mount Lebanon AME Church, conducted by the Rev. Larry Nelson. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville. The body will be placed in the church at 2.
Viewing will be after 1 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Walker Funeral Service. Visitation will be at the funeral home.

GREENWOOD — Sandra “Sandi ” Covil McNair, 54, of 123 Hughes Road, wife of George McNair, passed away Aug. 5, 2000, at her home.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Roy H. And Enza Walton Covil. She was a member of Ninety Six Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Rhae Cochran of Groton, Conn., and Tessa Wray of China Grove, N.C.; and a son, Chadwicke Heath McNair of Toccoa, Ga.; and three grandsons.
Services will be at 2 Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. J. Carlisle Grimsley and the Rev. Sam Smith. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Greg Henderson, Ron Hilley, Chris Blalock, Ricky Clark, Wayne Clark and Keith Hall.
Visitation is from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.

Freddie "Who" Williams
NORTH AUGUSTA— Freddie “Who” Williams, 48, of Anna Maria Nursing Home, passed away Aug. 5, 2000, at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Jackson and Mary Ella Williams Sr. He was a former roofer with Hilley Roofing Co. and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Coronaca.
Survivors include five brothers, Jackson “Jack” Williams, Matthew Williams and John Glenn Williams, all of Greenwood, Curtis Williams of Columbia and Jeremiah Williams of Laurens; and four sisters, Lorene Reed, Linda Faye Partlow, Mary Ann Morrow and Elizabeth Elaine Williams, all of Greenwood.
The family is at the home of a sister, Elizabeth Elaine Williams, 102 Darlington St., Greenwood.
Services will be announced by Robinson and Son Mortuary Inc., which is in charge.
Larry Darnell Bosket
WEST COLUMBIA — Larry Darnell Bosket, 49, of 245 Lloydwood Drive, husband of Judy Anderson Bosket, passed away Aug. 5, 2000, at Lexington Medical Center.
Born in Saluda County, he was a son of Ida Lott Bosket and the late Lasket Bosket. He was a member of the Greater Faith United Missionary Baptist Church, Columbia, a 1971 Saluda High School graduate and a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include his wife of the home; his mother of Saluda; two sons, Larry D. Bosket Jr. and Prinston Bosket, both of West Columbia; two daughters, Aundrea Bosket of Columbia and Tara E. Bell of Washington , D.C.; five brothers, James L. Bosket, William Bosket, Johnny Bosket and Willie Bosket, all of Saluda and Aubury Bosket of West Columbia; two sisters, Ida E. Coates and Lillie R. Matthews, both of Saluda; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 Wednesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Saluda, with Pastor Calvin Robinson presiding and the Rev. Charles E. Graham officiating. The Revs. Bill Stringfellow, Roosevelt Edmond and John Benson will assist. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers and flower bearers are nephews and nieces.

Rosa Mae Burt
SALUDA — Rosa Mae Etheredge Burt, 63, of 110 Edwards St., wife of James A. Burt, passed away Aug. 6, 2000, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late George and Julia Robinson Etheredge. She was a homemaker and a member of Willow Spring Baptist Church and the Women Home Aide Society No. 126.
Survivors include her husband of the home; four sons, Wendell D. Robinson, Keith Burt, Calvin Burt and Larry Burt, all of Saluda; nine daughters, Edna Dove of Philadelphia, Geneva Young of Edgefield, Catherine Robinson of Columbia, Ida L. Robinson of Newberry, Johnnie Mae Herbert, Mashelle Burt, Teresa Morris and Amber Jean Burt, all of Saluda and Shannon Burt of Aiken; a brother, Bennie F. Etheredge of Philadelphia; two sisters, Georgia Etheredge and Juliann Gantt, both of Saluda; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 Thursday at Willow Spring Baptist Church, Edgefield, conducted by the Rev. Dr. E.L. Cain. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

GREENWOOD — John Carter, 68, of 710 White Oak Lane, passed away Aug. 7, 2000, at Self Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Will Baylor and Rosie Carter Collins. He was a member of Old Mount Zion Baptist Church, Epworth.
Survivors include a sister, Marie Ross of Greenwood; and a niece reared in the home, Tamika King of Greenwood.
The family is at the home of his sister, 105-B McKellar Court.

Walter L. Crane
TIMMONSVILLE — Walter L. Crane, 46, husband of Marie “Myra” Stokes Crane, passed away Aug. 4, 2000.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Clarence Crane and Gladys Crane Gunnells and stepson of the late Ed Gunnells. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of Timmonsville; a son, Scotty Crane of Laurens; two daughters, Annette Walden of Belton and Jami Crane of Greenville; three brothers, Ronnie Crane and Don Crane, both of Honea Path and Richard Crane of Gray Court; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at Lamar Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Charles Grooms and the Rev. Holmes Martin. Burial was in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
