LEXINGTON — Services for Blanche Kyzer Taylor, 95, will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2005, at First Calvary Baptist Church with interment to follow in First Calvary Baptist Cemetery. She will be placed in the church for viewing from 2:30-3 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Rickey Heywood, Alvin Harmon, Randy Smith, and Bruce Brown. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2005, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Taylor, widow of Cellous E. Taylor, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005. Born November 28, 1909, in Lexington, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Olin D. and Mamie Crout Kyzer. Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church, the Love Sunday School Class and the Happy Faces Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her sons, Rayford Taylor of Gilbert, J.C. Taylor of Lexington; daughter, Margaret “Tiny” Heywood of Leesville; brother, Holley Kyzer of Leesville; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Moody Preston Walters Sr.
MAGGIE VALLEY, N.C. — Moody Preston Walters, Sr., 65 of Maggie Valley, N.C., and formerly of Harleyville, S.C., died Thursday April 14, 2005.
A native of Reevesville, S.C., he grew up in Harleyville, S.C., and was the son of the late Carlisle J. and Vernelle Taylor Walters. He retired from both Giant Cement Company and S.C. Parks, Recreation and Tourism. He was also owner of Walters Well Drilling and Septic Service. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Marines, a Mason, Scottish Rite, Shriner and a published poet and writer of short stories.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Zeigler Walters; a daughter, Wendy W. Creel (Jody) of Grover, S.C.; two sons, Moody “Carl” Preston Walters (Alania) of Columbia, S.C., and Todd Moody Patrick Walters (Leiding ) of Summerville, S.C.; two sisters, JoAnn Walters Hinson of Moncks Corner and Linda Walters Driggers of Harleyville, S.C.; eight grandchildren.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Dellwood Baptist Church, of which he was a member. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church. A second gathering of friends will be Monday, April 18, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George, S.C. Robert Winburn
HARTSVILLE — Funeral services for William Robert Winburn, 75, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. The Revs. Ed Griggs and Bob Thomas will officiate with burial in the church Cemetery, directed by Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, April 15, 2005, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Winburn died Wednesday, April 13, 2005. Born in Darlington County, S.C., he was a son of the late William Roger and Blanche Griggs Winburn. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired from Sonoco Products Co. with 37 years of service, and was a member of the Old Timers Club. He always remembered family and friend’s birthdays. He was a loving father and grandfather and a wonderful husband who enjoyed fishing and boat riding.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Griggs Winburn of Hartsville, S.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Debbie Winburn, Jr. of Hartsville, S.C., Ralph and Shari Winburn of Whitesburg, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Faye and Leon Dickerson of Florence, S.C., Jo Ann and Billy Matthews of Hartsville, S.C.; grandchildren, Roger Winburn, Brian Winburn, Melissa Winburn, Carren Winburn, Sarah Winburn, Caitlin Winburn, Jennifer Byrd, David Matthews, Phillip Matthews; great-grandchild, Dylan Hunt. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Lea Hunt.
Pearl Truesdale
DALZELL — Johnnie Pearl Cook Truesdale, 91, widow of Sidney J. Truesdale, Sr., died Thursday, April 14, 2005, in Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late George S. Cook and the late Mary Truesdale Cook.
Mrs. Truesdale retired from Roses Department Store with 18 years of service.
Surviving are two sons, John B. Truesdale of Winnsboro and Robert “Bobby” Truesdale of Cassatt; three daughters, Alma Bowen of Camden, Thelma Sellers of Lugoff, and Melba Blair of Charleston; a sister-in-law, Idalene Baker of Lugoff; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two special friends, Yvonne Seigley and Bobby Seigley, both of Dalzell.
She was preceded in death by two sons, George Truesdale and Sidney Truesdale, Jr.; two brothers, Jim Cook and Henry Cook; and a sister, Eliza Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday at the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Marion Watkins and Rev. Albert Truesdale, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in the Providence Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4865 Camden Highway.

Cleo McMicheal Faust
DENMARK — Mrs. Cleo McMicheal Faust of Denmark, S.C., transcended this earthly plane and entered the realm of eternal light Friday, April 8, 2005, at her residence.
Homegoing Services are scheduled for noon Saturday, April 16, 2005, at Rome Baptist Church, Denmark, S.C. Rev. Joseph Tucker, Pastor. Burial will follow in the New Memorial Cemetery, Denmark, S.C.
Viewing and visitation are scheduled to be held Friday at Central Baptist Church, Denmark, S.C., from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Friends are welcome at other times at the home at 214 Poplar Avenue.

F. Stacey Webb
EVANS, Ga. — Mr. Stacey Webb entered into rest Tuesday April 12, 2005. He was born April 26, 1942, in Augusta, Ga., the husband of Anna Moseley Webb and the son of Lucille Gutierrez Webb and the late Henry C. Webb, Sr. of Augusta, Ga.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. today, April 15, 2005, at The Church of the Good Shepherd with The Very Reverend Robert Fain officiating.
Stacey was a dedicated and loving husband and father who loved spending time with his seven grandchildren. He had a tremendous faith in God and inspired those around him. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. His love of God and his family carried him to the end. He was a caring, thoughtful, understanding, considerate person with a good sense of humor. All these qualities and his abundant people skills contributed to his success in his career and provided a rock solid foundation for his family, friends and career associates--leaving all with a fortune of cherished memories.
After attending Augusta College, Stacey began a 47-year career in banking, technology, and management with Georgia Railroad Bank, South Carolina National Bank, FiServ, and Intercept. His expertise included programming, technical support, management - sales and marketing in the financial and data processing industry. The most enjoyable challenge in his career was the opportunity to work with the people and clients in his territory.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Carol Webb of Tucker, GA, and Jennifer Maddux and husband Brent of Cumming, GA; two sons, Michael Webb and wife Kathy of Augusta, GA, and R. Boyd Webb and wife Ginny of West Columbia, SC; one brother, Henry C. Webb, Jr. and wife Faye of Chapin, SC; one sister, Lynda Webb of Augusta, GA; and seven grandchildren, Taylor Webb, Madison Carpenter, Seth Carpenter, Mackenzie Webb, Grace Webb, Lauren Maddux, and R. Boyd Webb, Jr.

Mr. Godfrey, widower of Janet Godfrey, died Monday, April 11, 2005. Born in Mill Creek, WV, he was a son of the late Ralph W. and Dorotha Reseba Cowger Godfrey. Mr. Godfrey was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had retired as a master mason.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Terry E. and Amanda Godfrey of Gaston; sisters, Frances Lee Godfrey Breazeale of Geneva, FL, Carol Mae Godfrey Cool of Fairmont, WV, Joy Fay Godfrey Pickens of West Union, WV; granddaughter, Amanda Dawn Godfrey; and great-grandson, Jonathan McKinley Lewis.
Mr. Godfrey was predeceased by two brothers, Jollie Dewayne Godfrey, Maurice Donovan Godfrey; and a sister, Geneva Hope Godfrey Murphy.
Billy Evans Sr.
WEST COLUMBIA — Graveside services for Billy Earnest “Booger” Evans, Sr., 65, of West Columbia, will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 16, 2005, in Olympia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Friday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
Mr. Evans died Thursday, April 14, 2005. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Crawford E. and Sheppie Christmas Evans. He was a graduate of Olympia High School and was a United States Navy veteran. Mr. Evans had retired from CSX Transportation and was an avid pool player. He will be missed by family and friends as well.
Surviving are his son, Danny Evans; grandchildren, Tyler and Ivy; brothers, Sammy, Johnny, Jimmy, Larry, Jerry, and Terry Evans; sisters, Virginia Forth, Debra Chambers, and Lisa Broadus. Mr. Evans was predeceased by a son, Billy E. Evans, Jr.; and sisters, Elizabeth Evans and Shirley Elaine Mims.
Barbara Comingore
NEWBERRY — Barbara Felker Pitts Comingore, 75, of 2203 Harper Street, Newberry, wife of Alfred Bruce “Charlie” Comingore, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, in Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Comingore was born on May 16, 1929, in Newberry, a daughter of the late Roland H. and Myrtle Ringer Felker. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. She was a member of the Newberry Lions Club and a member of the Town and Country Garden Club. She was a retired hostess at the Newberry Community Hall and was a former school teacher. She was first married to the late L.C. Pitts, III.
Mrs. Comingore is survived by her husband of the home, and a son and two daughters-in-law; Bobby Louis and Susan N. Pitts of Eau Claire, WI, and Lisa Pantano of Butte, MT; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Walter Pitts.
Funeral services for Barbara Felker Pitts Comingore will be 2 P.M. Saturday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Steven Counts. Interment will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 P.M. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be M.C. Yarbrough, John Paul Whitaker, Ken Roehrs, Gary Felker, Bill Riley, and Gene Williamson.
