Private graveside services will be held in Sunset Gardens in Beckley, WV. A native of West Virginia, Mrs. Casey was the widow of Joseph Casey, she was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Pat Casey of Aiken, a brother, James Weaver, South Hill, VA, two sisters, June Weaver Furrow, Shady Springs, WV and Verla Weaver, Albany, GA, and two grandchildren, Heather and Christopher Casey, both at The University of South Carolina. AIKEN Mrs. Julia Fox Steele, 49, of Sunnyside Lane, Aiken, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Fred Andrea, II will officiate. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Steele was born to Elizabeth Taylor Fox and the late Joseph Blease Fox. She was a lifelong resident of Aiken, and the owner of Fox Glass. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband, William G. Steele; her son, Daniel F. Fishborne, IV, Aiken; a stepson, Eric Graham Steele, Ocean Springs, MS; and three grandchildren, Daniel Brice Fishborne, Summer Claire Fishborne and Joseph Cameron Fishborne,

AIKEN Mrs. Virginia Lee Boris Somogie, 78, of Spaulding Drive, Aiken, died Friday, March 19 at the Medical College of Georgia.
A prayer service will be held this evening at 6:00 PM in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Cecelia, Rochester, PA at a later date.
Mrs. Somogie was born in Monaca, PA, and had been a resident of Aiken for the last 11 years. She was a homemaker, and had been a secretary for McKessens and Robins and Sears. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, a member of the Homemakers Association, the AGLOW, the Disabled American Veterans and the Circle of Love Club.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Albert E. Somogie; daughters, Judine I. Somogie (Richard L.) Burns, Rochester, PA, Andrea Marie Somogie, Lake Erie, PA; sons, Alan E. (Rebecca) Somogie, Monaca, PA, Brian E. (Emily) Somogie, Harrisburg, PA; four grandchildren, Nicholas Joseph Burns, Diadra Leigh Burns, Joshua Daniel Rajchel, Stephanie Faith Somogie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Mary Corniglio Boris, a grandchild, Lucas Gabriel Somogie, and a brother, John F. Boris.

Aiken Mrs. Frances Goldman Bell, 86, of Reynolds Pond Rd., died Friday, March 18, 2005 at her residence.

A lifelong resident of Aiken, Mrs. Bell ran C.E. Bells Grocery for over 40 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, the Adult Ladies #1 Sunday School Class, and a member of Daughters of America for 64 years. She was a beloved wife and cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

MR. DAVID W. STRICKLAND, 81, of Aiken, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse Rivers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. A native of Walterboro, SC, Mr. Strickland was a son of the late Willie W. and Jessie Lee Smoak Strickland. He had lived in Aiken since 1967 and was the owner of Strickland Insurance Agency. He was a navy veteran of World War II and participated in the invasion of Normandy. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, the American Legion, a 32nd degree mason and a member of the Scottish Temple in Charleston. Survivors include a daughter, Ombra Sandifer of Tallahassee, FL, two sons, Paul W. Strickland and Derald W. Strickland, both of Aiken, three grandchildren, Sara Siken, Melissa Strickland and Laura Strickland and a great-grandson, Chase Sikes.
