Lucille Kelly
COLUMBIA — Service for Lucille Mathias Kelly, 89, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kelly, wife of the late Thomas Boykin Kelly, founder of Capital Blue Print, died Friday, October 29, 2004. Born in Cayce, she was a daughter of the late Rowell Lemuel and Lilly Aughtry Mathias. She was formerly a volunteer at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital and at Trident Memorial Hospital in Charleston. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Columbia.
Surviving are son, Thomas Daniel “Dan” Kelly of Columbia; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Kelly and Gene Gebhard of Charleston; sister, Annie Laurie Magwood of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Thomas Preston Kelly, Kimberly Nicole Kelly, Donna Michelle Squillace, Angela Marie Murto, Deborah Anne Squillace, Cayce Jean Aldridge and Ashley Elizabeth Aldridge; and great-grandchildren, Ilissa Howard, Paige Howard and Alexandria Berry.
Victor Wilhelm
COLUMBIA — A memorial service for William Victor Wilhelm, 50, will be private. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, is assisting the family.
Mr. Wilhelm died Friday, October 29, 2004. Born in Augusta, Ga., he was the son of William A. and Faye Wilkinson Wilhelm.
Surviving are his parents of Columbia; aunt, uncles and cousins; and longtime friend, Allison Lovinggood of Grand Cayman Islands. He was predeceased by grandparents, William and Margaret Wilhelm and Harry and Mae Wilkinson and uncle, Billy Wilkinson.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Robert Amory, Dayna Swinson, R.N. and Brenda Quick R.N. for their care and support.
Emily Leitner
WEST COLUMBIA — Graveside service for Emily Anne Easterling Leitner, 79, of the S.C. Episcopal Retirement Home at Still Hopes, will be held Monday at 12:30 p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church or Palmetto Health Hospice. The family will receive friends Sunday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Mrs. Leitner's residence. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is in charge.
Mrs. Leitner, widow of John E. Leitner, formerly of Leitner's Point, Lake Murray, died Friday, October 29, 2004. Born April 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Eugene M. and Mabel Alderman Easterling. She attended the University of South Carolina. She retired from the Richland County Health Department where she had worked for thirty-three years.
Mrs. Leitner was a member of the S.C. State Employees Association and was on the Board of Directors for many years. She was named Outstanding State Employee in 1968. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Laureate Delta Chapter. As a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Ballentine, she served on the Worship Committee for many years and was a member of the Love Circle of the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are her brothers and their wives, Eugene M. Easterling, Jr. and Martha of Barnwell and William Lee Easterling and Marylyn of Summerville; seven nieces and nephews; eleven great-nieces and great-nephews; and two honorary daughters, Suzanne Barnett Saundra Howard.
Lillian McIntosh
KINGSTREE — Mrs. Lillian W. McIntosh, 81, wife of Irwin M. McIntosh, died October 30, 2004 in a Florence hospital.
Mrs. McIntosh, born March 1, 1923, in Clarendon County, was a daughter of the late Robert Edward and Clarabell White Wheeler. She attended Winthrop College and taught school in Clarendon County. She has been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for over 50 years. Mrs. McIntosh is currently a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church and was formerly a longtime member of Midway Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, son Irwin (Harriet) McIntosh of Kingstree, daughter Jenny (Haywood Gillikin) McIntosh of Elizabeth City, NC, daughter, Lill (Al) Edwards of Burke, VA, daughter Irma (Robby) Kay of Mooresville, NC and two sisters Allyne Wheeler and Roberta Bradford of Sumter. She is also survived by grandchildren Mark (Trish) Hogan, Don (Dee) Chamberlain, At McIntosh, William (Renee) McIntosh, Jim Edwards, Michael Edwards, Carolyn Kay and Taylor Kay and great-grandsons Hurley Chamberlain, Still McIntosh and Donnie McIntosh.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, November 2, at Midway Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, November 1, at Williamsburg Funeral Home in Kingstree and at other times at the home, 588 McIntosh Road, Kingstree.
Memorials may be made to Williamsburg Presbyterian Church or Midway Presbyterian Church.
Hazel Booth
MCCOLL — Services for Hazel Rogers Booth, 72, will be held at 3 p.m. today at McColl Church of God with burial in Rogers Cemetery. Rogers Funeral Home is in charge. Born in Marlboro Co. to Marvin and Alice Huggins Rogers, she died Oct. 31, 2004. Surviving are children, Jerry, Rocky Booth, Phyllis Grooms; siblings, Roddie Rogers, Alice Faye White; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grands; one great-great-grand.
Bruce Edmonds
COLUMBIA — Service for Bruce Carter Edmonds, 71, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral with burial in Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Baseball Capital Campaign, P.O. Box 50502, Columbia, S.C. 29250. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
Mr. Edmonds died Sunday, October 31, 2004. Born in Sherburne, N.Y., he grew up in Watertown, N.Y. and attended the University of Cincinnati. He transferred to Columbia from Cincinnati for the opening of Richland Mall with J. B. White as their advertising manager. At the time of his death, he was employed with Carlisle Associates, Architects/Engineers.
Mr. Edmonds was a member of Trinity Cathedral.
Surviving are his wife, Furman Lloyd Edmonds; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce Carter Edmonds, Jr. and Mary Alice Edmonds and Creighton Woolworth Edmonds and Chandra Sellars Edmonds, all of Columbia; brother, Richard Edmonds of Hawaii; and grandchildren, Bruce Carter Edmonds III, David Whitaker Edmonds and Gambrell Leigh Edmonds.
Shirley Conway

Born in Newberry Co. to Peter and Rosa Kinard, she died Oct. 29, 2004. Joseph Clayborn
CAMDEN — Funeral services for Joseph “Joe” Clayborn, 79, will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2004, 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with a private burial. Mr. Clayborn died Saturday, October 30, 2004. Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Clayborn, Jr.; three daughters, Clara Clayborn, Rosa Piercy (John), Annette Skinner (Roy); 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Clayborn and Marie Moses and several nieces and nephews.

Alvin Ferguson
HONEA PATH — Services for Alvin James Ferguson, 89, are 4 p.m. (visitation 3 p.m.) Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home; burial: Garden of Memories. Born in Greenville Co. to Barney and Kitty Ferguson, he died Oct. 31, 2004. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a WWII Army veteran and member of Trinity UMC. FLORENCE — A graveside service for Vivian McDaniel Davis, 93, widow of Louis Davis Sr., will be held at 11 a.m. today in Florence Memorial Gardens. Layton-Anderson Funeral Home is in charge. Born in Shelby Co., Tenn., to Newton and Atlie Herring McDaniel, she died Oct. 29, 2004. SUMTER — A graveside service for Rebecca Smethers Folmar, 84, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation is 6-8 tonight at Bullock Funeral Home. Born in Berwick, Pa., to LeRoy and Elizabeth Smethers, she died Oct. 31, 2004. She was of the Methodist faith and loved to bowl, garden, and make ceramics. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Arthur Folmar; son, LeRoy Folmar.

Harrell Jones
MARION — Mr. Harrell Boyd Jones, 75, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Marion County Medical Center.
Mr. Jones was born August 1, 1929, a son of the late Harrell B. and Sara Bryan Jones. Mr. Jones graduated from Marion High School in 1946 and attended Clemson University. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. Upon completion of his service, he completed his B.A. Degree at the University of South Carolina. Mr. Jones farmed for a few years, worked for the Florence Morning News and worked for Wilcox Office Supplies, where he built and installed computers.
Surviving Mr. Jones are: a stepson: Jim Hennecy of Gresham; a stepdaughter: Bobby Ann Thompson of Bellevue, Nebraska; a first cousin: William H. Cornelius, Jr. of Marion; and several cousins in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
Mr. Jones was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie Hennecy Jones.
A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 til 8 P.M. at the home of Bill and Augie Cornelius, at 900 Dogwood Dr., Marion.
A private interment will be held for the family on Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity, church or organization of one’s choice.
