Robert L. Jones
Funeral services for Robert L. Jones, 58, of 1550 Amelia St., Orangeburg, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2008, in the Simmons Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Samuel Green officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cope.
Mr. Jones, son of the late William Jones Sr. and Sadie Hawkins Jones, was born August 6, 1949, in Orangeburg County. He entered into eternal rest on January 1. He was educated in the Orangeburg County public schools. He was employed with Sara Lee Bakery.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: two brothers, William (Queen Ester) Jones and Leroy Jones, both of Orangeburg; four sisters, Susie Parler of Columbia, Mary Jones Hunter, Jimmie (Robert) Washington, Lavern (Robert) Simon, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four aunts, four uncles and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and dear friends.
Friends may call at the residence of his brother, Mr. William Jones, 1725 Saxon Drive, Orangeburg, or at Simmons Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Carolyn Burden
Carolyn Burden, 47, of 126 Lipstick Lane, Santee, died Friday, January 4, 2008, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

Mrs. Andra K. Beach Moore
A memorial service for Mrs. Andra K. Beach Moore, 25, of 990 Chester St., Orangeburg, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, in the Moultrie Temple Church of Deliverance, with Bishop Quasim Hodges officiating.
Mrs. Beach-Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew (Ollie Mae Rivers) Beach was born August 4, 1982. She departed this life on March 26, at Lexington Medical Center of Lexington after a brief illness. At an early age, Mrs. Moore joined Macedonia AME Church of Cope. She was a graduate of Edisto High School in Cordova and a current student of Trident Technical College of Columbia. Andra was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Archonettes-Bowman and held the title of Zeta Queen.
To cherish her loving memories, she leaves her husband, Mr. Darnell Moore of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew (Ollie) Beach of Orangeburg; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Addie H. Beach of Denmark; her adopted grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion (Velma) Cain of Orangeburg; loving godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence (Marriet) Hickson of Orangeburg; mother-in-law, Ms. Diane Moore of Orangeburg; father-in-law, Mr. John Greggs of Orangeburg; five adopted sisters, Phadra K. Rivers, Erica Rivers-Hill, Faith Spells, Rose Spells and Diane Spells, all of Orangeburg; one adopted brother, Terry C. Rivers of Orangeburg; special sister, Patricia Hodges; two godsisters, Marielle and Lawson Hickson of Orangeburg; four godbrothers, Cornelius Carter, Lawrence S. Hickson, Quasim Hodges, all of Orangeburg; nine godchildren, Ryan Armstead, Cornelius N. Carter, Laudrey and Lataujah "Cabbage" Hayes, Tatianna and Tianna Howell, Joshua James and Nya Washington, all of Orangeburg, Kendall Young and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Sherry H. Ramos
Sherry H. Ramos, 41, of Spotsylvania, Va., passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Mount Hope Baptist Church.
A memorial service was held Friday, March 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her father, Clifford Robinson Jr. formerly of Orangeburg; daughter, Tiffany Ramos; son, Javier Ramos; granddaughter, Jordyn Ramos; aunts, Joyce Davis, Ruby Davis and Beryle Nickalus; and two cousins, Derrall Davis and Shary Nickalus.

Cleophus Watkins, 85, of 2401 Windsor St., Springfield, died March 30, 2008, at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Robert Daniel Livingston
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Daniel Livingston, 53, of 2629 Pond Bluff Road, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 in the New Light United Methodist Church, 3100 Neeses Highway, Orangeburg, with Dr. Norman A. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Livingston.
The casket will be placed in the church at noon.
Mr. Livingston was the son of the late Roosevelt Livingston and Minnie Louise Pou Livingston.
Survivors include a son, Robert Darnell Felder of North; eight sisters, Venus Rowe, Veronica Livingston, Mary Livingston and Ada R. Livingston, all of Neeses, Joann Jenkins and Loretta Livingston, both of Orangeburg, Shena M. Livingston of Cordova and Lydia Livingston of North; three children he raised, Christopher Felder of North, Anlissa (Rena) Felder and Vernita (David) Brown, all of Orangeburg; one sister-in-law, Jessie Bell Livingston of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers-in-law, Clyde Robinson of Neeses and Thomas Martin of North; two aunts, Corinne Pou of St. Matthews and Estelle Pou of Woodford; four grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at W. B. Crumel Funeral Home of North.

Stephen B. Bolin
Stephen B. Bolin, 37, of Swansea, died Saturday, March 29, 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 31, in the Sardis Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bolin was born in Columbia, a son of the late Kenneth L. and Frances Etta Gunter Bolin.
Survivors include two sisters, Wendy Jumper and Buffy Oliver; grandmother, Pauline G. Bolin; nieces, Kathy Jumper and Taylor Frost; nephew, Robert Jumper.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Culler-McAlhnay Funeral Home of North.
Mrs. Ethel Marie Glenn Jones
Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Marie Glenn Jones, of 115 Candlewood Court, Bowman, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 in the New Covenant United Methodist Church, Highway 210, Bowman, with the Rev. Leonard Huggins, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Saturday, October 27, following an extended illness.
She was born in Bowman, May 2, 1957, the daughter of the late Heyward Glenn Sr. and Willie Mae Wolfe Glenn. Ethel received her education in the public schools of Bowman. She attended Bethune Memorial High School. She affiliated herself with the membership of New Covenant United Methodist Church early in life. She was married to the late Leroy Andrew Jones.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe B. Glenn and a sister, Letta Mae (Betty) Thomas.
Those remaining with loving and cherishable memories include, one loyal son, Robert Lorenzo Jones (Katrina) of Bowman; one very loving daughter, Deidra Marie Jones (Dwight Johnson) of Branchville; a very devoted friend, James (Jimmy) McAlhany Jr. of Branchville; three brothers, George Glenn (Mary), Raymond Glenn (Earnestine) and Rickey Glenn (Sharon), all of Bowman; one stepbrother, Walter Mack (Shirley) and one sister, Jessie Banks; eight grandchildren, Robert L. Jones Jr., Demonte West, Ta'Quasha West, Kianda M. Tucker, Brianna Brooks, LaShana Brooks, Jamera Rhett, Demond Johnson, and Demont Johnson; a host of loving cousins, other relatives and dear friends; two good friends, Benzula Lewis and Edward Mack of Bowman; one special cousin, Lannie Edwards of Branchville.
