Funeral services for Kelly A. McKeowen, 15, of 9992 Old State Road, Cameron, will be held 3 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2007, in the First Baptist Church of Elloree, with the Rev. Clark McCrary officiating. Burial will be in the Santee Cemetery, Elloree.
Pallbearers will be Joe Haigler, Ryan Haigler, Wally Haigler, Mike Haigler, Adam Jarecki and Tommy Turner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of First Baptist Church of Elloree.
Miss McKeowen died Wednesday, October 23, at the Regional Medical Center.

Stephen Ross Thomas
Stephen Ross Thomas, 23, of 267 E. Springdale Road, died Sunday, October 21, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, at Catawba Baptist Church, with Dr. Tommy Huddleston and the Rev. Ned Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Orangeburg County, Mr. Thomas was the son of Deborah Fogle Clark of Rock Hill and Darryl Thomas of Orangeburg. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church and worked for Rogers Grading Company in Rock Hill.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Tyler Ross Thomas and Tyler's mother, Callie Drost of Rock Hill; his sister, Sommer Thomas of Rock Hill; his maternal grandparents, Albert and Ginger Fogle of Orangeburg; his paternal grandmother, Jeanette Thomas of Orangeburg; his special aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, at Greene Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, and following the service at the church.
The family requests memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Columbia, 2955 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC 29203 or to a charity of one's choice.

Willie Davis
Willie Davis, 67, of 13519 Old Highway Six, Eutawville, died Friday, September 14, 2007, at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral services will be announced by Eutawville Community Funeral Home of Eutawville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Davis; three daughters, Shelby Jefferson, Deborah Davis of Summerville and Grace Grant of Holly Hill; one son, Anthony Davis of New York.

Curtis Tyler
Funeral services for Curtis Tyler, 81, of 478 Tyler Road, Neeses, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2007, in Bushy Pond Baptist Church, Norway. Professional services have been entrusted to Jackson's Memorial Chapel, Neeses.
Mr. Tyler died Friday, Sept. 14, in the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
He was born Feb. 22, 1926, a son of the late Patrick Tyler and Katie Mae Ankle Tyler.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Beulah Tyler; children, Irene Jamison, Karine Peeples, Lela Youmans, Sennia Wooden, Curtis Tyler Jr., Ike Tyler, and Eric Tyler; four brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

James Olin "Poppy" Strock Sr., 61, of 564 Middle Willow Road, Neeses, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Roper Hospital in Charleston.

Lisbon Juicy Thomas Jr.
Funeral services for Lisbon "Juicy" Thomas Jr., 68, of 20904 Solomon Blatt Ave., Blackville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Bethany Baptist Church in Blackville, with the Revs. Johnnie B. Goodwin, Joseph Williams, Thurmond Bowens, Andrew Johnson, and Minister Joe Banks, the Rev. Ernest Sanders and the Rev. Inez Raysor officiating. Burial will be in the Hope Memorial Park Cemetery in Barnwell.
Mr. Thomas died Friday, Sept. 14, at Barnwell County Hospital in Barnwell.
He was born April 20, 1939, to the Lisbon Thomas Sr. and Handsome Clark Thomas. Early in life, Lisbon joined Frost Branch Baptist Church in Elko. With his foundation, he developed a love for gospel music and later joined a local quartet, "The Southern Six" of Springfield. He was self-taught on the guitar and was a member of the group for over 30 years.
On Sept. 28, 1960, he was united in marriage to the former Luella Felder of Blackville. To this union, five children were born. One son, James, preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie L. Thomas. Lisbon was a retired lathe operator/foreman at the Talley-Corbett Box Co. in Springfield, where he gave over 40 years of faithful service. The memory of "Juicy" will continue to live in the hearts and minds of those who knew him.
Survivors include his virtuous wife, Mrs. Luella Thomas of the home; his devoted and loving children, Joyce (Mark) Spires of Trenton, Michael (Betty) Thomas, Rosa (Clarence) Felder and Tammi (Christopher) Ash, all of Blackville, Lorraine Myers of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Kareem Davies of Atlanta; 11 loving grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Isaac, Deloise Thomas and Annie M. Thomas, all of Blackville, and Gladys (David) Rose of Springfield; three brothers, James (Martha) Thomas of Columbia, Lester (Cleola) Thomas of Springfield and Wilmer Thomas of Aiken; a sister-in-law, Mary R. Thomas of Springfield; two brothers-in-law, Louis Felder of Manhattan, N.Y., and Robert (Deborah) Felder of Yonkers, N.Y.; a very dear nephew, Reggie Thomas; a special friend, Mr. Gilbert Johnson of Springfield; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing for the public will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dorothy Remell Dixon
Mrs. Dorothy Remell Dixon, 59, of 105 Tucan Terrace, Blackville, died Friday, September 21, 2007, at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga.

Mrs. Lillie Bookard Jackson
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Bookard Jackson, of 215 Cozine Ave. Brooklyn, N.Y., will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, in the Andrew Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson died Oct. 9, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born May 20, 1918, in Colleton County, the daughter of the late Dave Bookard and Mrs. Mary Maggie Brown Bookard. She formerly resided at 2121 Mays St. in Orangeburg. At an early age, she joined Antioch Baptist Church in Bowman. She later joined Andrew Chapel Church where she was a loyal member. After her health declined, she moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. where she resided with her daughters. Prior to her failing health, Ms. Jackson worked at Orangeburg Convalescent Center. She was also dedicated to her family and worked to help rear many of her grandchildren.
Lillie was the widow of the late George (Tot) Jackson Sr. of Orangeburg. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ms. Mary Magelene Jackson Salley and one grandson, Ronald Jerome Salley.
Survivors include four daughters, Ms. Georgia Jackson, Ms. Lueaza Jackson and Ms. Eloise Williams, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one stepdaughter who was just like her daughter, Ms. Justine Light of Bridgeport, Conn.; two sons, George Jackson Jr. (Janette) of Orangeburg and Eddie Clay Jackson (Daisy) of Bronx, N.Y.; six grandchildren she was instrumental in rearing, the Rev. Clifford Jackson of Augusta, Ga., Errie Salley and Ms. Loretta Salley Foster, Denise Jackson of Brooklyn, N.Y., Ms. Lillian Salley Richardson of Columbia and Ms. Lorraine Boneparte of Orangeburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Bookard Walker of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs. Carrie Bookard Milhouse of Columbia; three sisters-in-law, Ms. Mary Davis Bookard, Ms. Evelyn Byrd Bookard, and Ms. Lucille Jackson Richardson. She had 14 additional grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Johnson McCord
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy L. Johnson McCord, 76, of 866 Glover Street, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in the St. Paul Baptist Church, with the Rev. C. N. Priester officiating. Burial will be in the Heavenly Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Cordova.
The casket will be placed in the church at noon.
Mrs. McCord, daughter of the late Wilhelminia Patterson and Herbert Johnson was born July 21, 1931, in Orangeburg. She entered eternal rest on October 18. She was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County beginning at Riverside Elementary and going on to graduate from Wilkinson High School. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. She was joined in holy matrimony to Benjamin McCord on August 4, 1970.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, a daughter, Gwendolyn Kennerly of Orangeburg; two sons, Larry (Cheryl) Johnson of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Bernard (Christina) Johnson of Newark, N.J.; aunt, Forest Patterson of Bronx, N.Y.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
