Millie Sue Major, 57, of 165 Legare Road, St. George, wife of Dorchester County Chief Deputy Claude Major, died Monday, October 22, 2007, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg after a brief illness.

Loucious Boug Shuler
Funeral services for Loucious "Boug" Shuler will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007, in the Greater Zion Church. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Shuler, widow of Lillie Kelly Shuler died Friday.
He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Loucious Sr. and Sallie Shuler and the s.jpgon of the late Pauline Shuler. He was a member of Greater Zion Church and retired from Kline Iron and Steel after 25 years of service. Mr. Shuler was also owner and operator of Aunt L'ils Diner.
Mr. Shuler is survived by his sons, Herman Shuler, Irvin (Annette) Green; daughter, Sallie S. (Nathaniel) Jenkins; son-in-law, Frank Kelly and a host of loving relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family has entrusted final arrangements to Holley Funeral Home Inc., 102 Church St., St. Matthews.

William Moore, III, 77, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 11:00 am.
Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 27, 1936, the son of the late William Moore, Jr. and Margaret Felton Moore. Bill graduated from West Chester State in West Chester, PA, where he was a captain of the football team, then taught high school and coached football in Wilmington, DE. He was also a volunteer firefighter and was a retired sales executive with Xerox Corporation. In his younger years, Bill was an avid sport fisherman, spending summers on charter boats in Barnegat Light, NJ and after settling in South Carolina, he spent many happy hours on his boat, The SpoonBill. During his retirement years, he enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Gamecocks and the Atlanta Braves, and had a passion for NASCAR and local auto races.
Bill is survived by his son, Eric Moore of Mt. Pleasant; his daughter, Beth Fisher and her husband, George Fisher, of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, John William Moore, Willam Doak Fisher and Hadley Younger Fisher; one great-grandchild, Jaxson William Moore; his former wife, Maria Moore Freeman of Mt. Pleasant; his sister, Kathleen Bradley of Mt. Pleasant; and brother, David Moore of Dalton, PA. He is predeceased in death by his beloved dogs, Charlie and Dobber.

Funeral services for Ms. Gloria Ann Livingston, 50, of North, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007, at Faith Deliverance Center of Praise, 646 Main St., North, where Pastor Linda Livingston is the pastor. Burial will follow in Belleville Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.
The casket will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
Ms. Livingston died suddenly on Tuesday, October 30, at her residence.
She was a daughter of Mr. Phillip Livingston Jr. and the late Mrs. Louise Fisher Livingston.
Survivors include her father of North; five siblings, Minister Frankie Livingston of the home, Pastor Linda Livingston and Co-Pastor Martha Whetstone of North, Bruce Livingston of Columbia and Glenn Livingston of Las Vegas, NV; a special nephew, Phillip Ervin Livingston of North and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at W. B. Crumel Funeral Home of North.
Friends may call at the residence of her sister, Pastor Linda Livingston, 211 Jones Bridge Road, North and at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Patricia Reynolds Porter "Pat" Hutto, 71, of Orangeburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be K. A. "Thold" Gill Jr., L. Ruple Harley Jr., Travis M. Brown Jr., A. J. "Jamie" Hutto IV, Matthew B. Hutto, and David R. Hutto Jr.
Mrs. Hutto died Wednesday morning at Heartland of Lexington.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. At other times friends may call at the residence, 1560 Lee Blvd., Orangeburg.
