BISHOPVILLE - Margaret Ann Rodriguez, 55, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Carolina Pines Hospital in Hartsville.
Born in Wilsonville, Ala., she was a daughter of Dorothy Jones Mayhue and the late Donald T. Bain.
She was of the Catholic faith and served eight years in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include her mother of Alabama; her stepfather, Ronald W. Meyers of Bishopville; two sons, Bryan Scott Myers and his wife, Ruth, and Bryan Craig, all of Bishopville; three sisters, Donna Lea, Ethel Rhae and Betty Jo.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at 310 S. Lee St., Bishopville.

HAZELINE "TINA" W. JUMP GREEN
WEST COLUMBIA - Hazeline "Tina" W. Jump Green, 81, widow of Shelly H. Green, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, in Lexington.
Mrs. Green was born in Hazelhurst, Ga. She was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church in Columbia and was retired assistant inn keeper at the Mt. Vernon Inn in Sumter.
Surviving are a son, Jerry Green of Columbia; and a daughter, Shannon Berry of West Columbia.
Memorial services will be held at noon Monday at Washington Street United Methodist Church in Columbia with Rev. Dr. Mike Alexander officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church parlor.

Malissa Hudson Watson, wife of the late Ransome Watson, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 7, 1926, in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret Williams Hudson.
The family will receive friends at 1031 E. Sherwood Drive.
Services will be announced by Palmer Memorial Chapel.
BETTY LOU GERALD PRICE
Betty Lou Gerald Price, 68, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at a local nursing center.
Born in Marion, she was a daughter of the late Dudley Gerald and the late Leatha Shelley Gerald.
Mrs. Price was a member of the Alcolu Church of God of Prophecy and a former Red Cross volunteer.
Surviving are two sons, Billy David Price of Lake City and Dudley Ray Price of Sumter; three daughters, Alice "Pookie" Lindley of Sumter, Wanda Price Tennant of Summerton and Linda Price Floyd of Ft. Worth, Texas; three brothers, Bobby Gerald of Marion, Joe Gerald of Murrells Inlet and Zack Gerald of Florence; two sisters, Mary Alice Williamson of Marion and Mildred Love of Florence; three grandchildren; and three great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Gerald.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Elmore - Hill - McCreight Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Ray Barfield officiating.
Burial will be in the Sumter cemetery.

RENA GILYARD
SUMMERTON - Rena Gilyard, 88, widow of the late Adam Gilyard, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at 4D Meadow Field Apartments.
Born Oct. 29, 1915, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Stephany and the late Janie Merchant.
Survivors include two sons, George Gilyard of Philadelphia, and Jerry and his wife, Mary Gilyard, of Pinewood; five daughters, Ritha Bell Gilyard of Long Island, N.Y., Geneva Gilyard of Philadelphia, JoAnne Gilyard of Philadelphia, Cynthia Gilyard and Carolyn and her husband, Hawley Robinson, of Summerton; a daughter-in-law, Lucy Gilyard of Richmond, Va.; a sister-in-law, Maggie Merchant of New York; 35 grandchildren; 25 great - grandchildren; and seven great - great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six children, two grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Carolyn and her son-in-law Hawley Robinson, 1165 Hall St., Summerton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. W.T. Johnson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery.

CARROLL EDWARD KELLEY
WEDGEFIELD - Carroll Edward Kelley, 61, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Born in Wedgefield, he was a son of the late Daniel Tillinghast Kelley and Daisy Ruth Hinson Kelley.
Mr. Kelly was member of Wedgefield Baptist Church and was a retired rural letter carrier after 36 years of service.
Surviving are two sons, Carroll Edward Kelley Jr. of Ty - Ty, Ga., and Dustin Thomas (Tommy) Kelley of Wedgefield; two brothers, Franklin D. Kelley of Sumter and Robert B. Kelley of Wedgefield; two sisters, Louise K. Scheule of Pilesgrove, N.J., and May K. Davis of Sumter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wedgefield Baptist Church with the Rev. Darryl Davids officiating.
Burial will follow in the Crossroads cemetery in Eastover.
Pallbearers will be Francis Brown, Bobby Batten, Jimmy Moore, Ryan Atkinson, Paul Goff and Hamp Benenhaley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Allen McLeod, Johnny Davis and Paul Sinclair III.

Susan L. Seymour Johnson, wife of the late Abie Johnson, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at her residence in Sumter. Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Griffen Seymour and Viola Wilson Seymour Gordon.

ROMELL CALDWELL HAMMETT
Romell Caldwell Hammett, 77, of 1061 N. Guignard Drive, wife of the late Theodore Hammett, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 23, 1925, in the Spring Hill section of Clarendon County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Caldwell and Gertrude Conyers Caldwell.
